But the next mont, the vision in the direction of the fortress went black.

Fang Hong looked up and saw this scene.

The 'fortress' was cheap, so he wasn't too upset, just a bit regretful. However, when he looked to the other side and saw the ground littered with tal fragnts, he felt they looked familiar.

He thought for a mont, then suddenly panicked, reaching back—only to grab at nothing.

Fang Hong's vision went black, almost fainting—when he realized, he imdiately wanted to drag the Papalarian out for a beating.

The tal fragnts on the ground—weren't they the Clockwork Fairy II models he had reapplied for from Miss Atira after arriving in Tansnier?

They hadn't even ward up, and now they were broken again.

And this guy actually used the items worth over twenty thousand Lycel as a recorder?

When did this cursed Papalarian learn to use magic devices, and when did he manage to swipe the Clockwork Fairy from him?

For a mont, Fang Hong was steaming with rage.

Luckily, the Clockwork Fairy II was not entirely wasted. After the Alchemist missed his strike, his mindset was visibly affected; after all, the Papalarian's shout was not for nothing.

Frowning, Fang Hong raised his hand towards the other side.

A beam shot out from the Yinhanz Type IV in that direction, the light beam cutting through the hall, slicing the pillars outside, and causing part of the inn's outer wall to collapse.

The light beam continued forward, striking the crowd, causing a commotion. The Alchemist's intent was to intimidate the people outside, hoping they would back off.

But to his surprise, this action backfired—

The light beam entered the crowd, but the outside spectators were already nurous, causing chaos in the inner layer that the outer layer couldn't see.

They thought this was the perfect ti to grab the bounty given his aggressive move, "Go—!" soone shouted from within the crowd.

The crowd imdiately followed the herd ntality and rushed forward.

However, the collapsed outer wall blocked them montarily, forcing them to take a detour from another direction.

Fang Hong hid behind the sofa, thinking that shout sounded like Tianlan's voice, who relishes chaos. But he didn't have ti to confirm this as the crowd flooded into the hall.

This was the perfect opportunity.

Even though his Clockwork Fairy was destroyed, Parker finally did sothing useful this ti.

He finally released Luo Yu and said to him, "Luo Yu, Refraction Art."

But as Fang Hong turned around, he suddenly saw an inconspicuous trail cutting through the dust behind him. Being a Combat Artisan, he was highly sensitive to such things, and alarms went off in his mind.

Clockwork Fairy—

He imdiately pushed Luo Yu away with force.

In front, a sharp whistling sound and a flying claw with a long rope shot towards him.

Fang Hong was greatly shocked, thinking that this move was unique to him, not expecting he would face it himself one day.

Dodging was too late.

Fortunately, he also knew this move's weakness well, so he extended his right hand, launching a flying claw.

The two flying claws intersected in mid-air, and Fang Hong grabbed the cable trailing the opponent's flying claw—the cable was the Rocket Fist's fatal flaw.

The Combat Artisan could control the flying claw, but he wasn't a Puppeteer; he couldn't control the rope behind the flying claw. Moreover, the cable could impede the flying claw's maneuverability in reverse.

When he grabbed it, the opponent's flying claw imdiately lost control. The flying claw initially aiming for his neck hit his shoulder, sending him flying backward.

Fang Hong crashed heavily into a screen, rolling several tis on the ground, so pained that he couldn't speak for a mont.

But he held tightly, not daring to loosen his grip.

After the flying claw hit the ground, it jumped up again, shooting in his direction. If he hadn't held the opposing cable, this would have been the end of him.

But this delay fortunately gave Luo Yu enough ti—

After being pushed away by Fang Hong, Luo Yu imdiately raised his Elental Magic Wand, drawing a silver line with his right hand. A crystal ford before him. He pointed forward, and the crystal turned into an Ice Cone flying towards Fang Hong.

Fang Hong seized the mont, giving a tug, the flying claw slowed and collided with the Ice Cone just right.

An icy mist scattered, the flying claw veered off course, while simultaneously, the Refraction Art took effect.

His form disappeared instantly—

Fang Hong finally relaxed—working with his own was effortless—Luo Yu almost perfectly understood his intention.

However, knowing the Refraction Art's duration was limited, Fang Hong knew he didn't have much ti left. He lay flat on the ground, pressing the Information Crystal, giving another command.

The Light Gates opened left and right, this ti revealing the silver Energy Angel.

The mont the Energy Angel appeared, it was enveloped within Luo Yu's Refraction Art range, becoming fickle like walking through a world of shattered mirrors.

Fang Hong struggled to raise his head to look in that direction.

The Big Cat People hadn't appeared.

But he knew the Lion Paladin wouldn't abandon them, Reed must be biding his ti, waiting for the right mont to act.

Fang Hong, too, was looking for that opportunity, knowing the opponents were too strong, necessitating caution in every move.

The incoming Invokers from outside still had about ten seconds to reach them, and from when they first engaged with the Alchemist until now, less than ten seconds had passed.

There was still half the ti left.

Moreover, those outsiders weren't reliable; they had to wait for truly dependable reinforcents.

Fang Hong cautiously rolled to one side, allowing the Energy Angel to dive into the dust to the left and right. But it was at this mont that his Communication Crystal suddenly lit up.

Su Changfeng's voice ca through:

"Ade, there's a problem I need to tell you."

Fang Hong was startled, imdiately hitting the crystal to turn it off. But it was already a bit too late; the flying claw he'd knocked away suddenly seed to co to life.

Shooting straight for him.

And then seized his throat—
