Fang Hong couldn't help but turn his head back.
The old man's gray eyebrows gathered together, and he looked at him with light brown eyes, sowhat seriously, and asked a question that no one present, except Fang Hong, could understand: "Are you researching those things?"
Fang Hong wanted to deny it imdiately.
But after thinking for a mont, he finally t the other's gaze and chose not to lie, just slowly nodded his head.
"Did you see anything?"
Fang Hong chose to tell the truth: "I didn't understand it."
Indeed, he had never understood it.
The old man raised his eyebrows and replied to himself: "That's to be expected..."
...
Leaving the underground and bidding farewell to the middle-aged craftsman, Fang Hong rushed to the place where the Slave Traders had recently settled in Tansnier.
This ti, it was Abed who took them to that place, again riding the two 'Biergo' Beasts of Burden from before—while Tianlan, Ai Xiaoxiao, and the others hadn't entered the manor, they all waited eagerly on the broad backs of the Beasts, even Pasha was there, seeing Fang Hong coming out of the manor, hurriedly tossing down a soft ladder when he arrived beneath the Beast.
"Thanks, Pasha."
"You're welco, Mr. Ade." Pasha replied softly.
After days of recuperation, the little boy looked much healthier than before, no longer emaciated, and the sparkle had returned to his eyes. At Seven Seas Travel Group, everyone treated him well, and Pasha was very satisfied with his situation.
Fang Hong took the soft ladder and shook his head. He insisted on letting Pasha participate in this task, intending to show him that today Colin Ishurian had no more slaves—only so lawbreakers, but those people would eventually be punished.
He tried many ways, but he couldn't change Pasha's inherent ideas—not to ntion the Noble Lady who often engaged in little 'restorations,' making people laugh and cry, and Pasha respected and obeyed her without question. He had no choice but to subtly influence Pasha, showing him the changes in the world bit by bit.
To make him understand that the past has beco the past.
Eteliria deeply impacted Earth, but Earth also deeply changed Eteliria—
But just as he was about to climb onto the back of the 'Biergo,' the Big Catfolk asked from behind, "Ade."
Fang Hong paused his action and turned his head back.
The Lion Paladin inserted his shield and Scepter of Authority behind him, walked to his side, and said, "If you have any ideas, feel free to share them with others, Seven Seas Travel Group is a collective..." He turned his head slightly: "Of course, we trust you to have the right judgnt, but you understand, the Captain should make his crew feel at ease..."
Fang Hong understood the implication of the other's words, he shook his head and replied: "Actually, it's nothing, Mr. Reed— I only made a bit of an unexpected discovery on those things, but it shouldn't have anything to do with this matter, so I didn't say..."
In fact, he had not understood the Abyssal Sea Scroll at all. He had just unexpectedly found that 'reading' them could increase Calculative Power. It was a trendous piece of good news for him, but it held no significance for the event itself.
The Big Catfolk then nodded, patted him on the shoulder with his paw, and climbed up first.
Then it was Atira, the Elf Miss walked up and looked at him carefully, hesitating to speak.
Fang Hong looked at her unexpectedly and asked, "Miss Atira, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing," the Elf Miss shook her head: "You've learned to handle things on your own, Ade."
Judging from her expression, Fang Hong detected a hint of unspoken aning: "Miss Atira?"
"Growing up is good," Atira sighed: "I just rembered..."
Fang Hong involuntarily closed his mouth, speaking no further.
He was, however, curious about what kind of person Miss Atira's brother was during his life. The other was a Tree Elf, could he really be so similar to himself?
The 'Biergo' moved forward into the bustling city, while Tianlan and Luo Yu were inquiring about the previous events from the Big Catfolk. Miss Ship's Officer, sitting back-to-back with him, suddenly asked, after a long while: "Lord Captain, about the Morning Dawn Star?"
"It's nothing, don't worry."
Fang Hong replied.
He was just sowhat unsure, did Miss Sicape and Mr. Kroid really experience such things? Everything the old man described seed to have a slight discrepancy with the 'Morning Dawn Star' in his knowledge. Yet, was that due to changes over the past ten years, or simply a coincidental sa na all along?
That day in the Elf Ruins, what Mr. Kroid said to him seed to have a deeper implication. Did he and Miss Sicape really experience sothing in the 'Battle of Bain'? It was a great battle, but it seed enough to leave such a profound mory for the Invoker.
An indistinct idea lingered in his mind, he felt that he had heard a similar story there before.
Hilveld turned her head and, with her eyes like a shallow sea, looked quietly and sowhat dreamily at his profile.
Fang Hong lightly held his Miss Ship's Officer's hand—
Soon after, the 'Biergo' arrived at the destination.
Tang Xin, Ai Xiaoxiao, Xiangzi, Parker, Luo Hao, and a group of Guards were already waiting for them there.
After Fang Hong got off the Beast of Burden, he pulled his cousin aside and asked with so seriousness:
"Tangtang."
"Brother, what's up?" Tang Xin looked at him strangely, seldom seeing him so serious.
"Do you rember the na Morning Dawn Star?"
Tang Xin couldn't help but roll her eyes, reaching out to touch her cousin's forehead.
"Brother, do you have a fever?"
