Fang Hong now understood a bit better; the things Miya had said to him originally were no joke—at all. Craftsn were truly sothing only the Grand Guild could afford.

After thinking it over, he pushed the gold coins back, indicating, "I'd rather keep my money in the team. Alchemists spend money like water, who knows when we might end up in debt again, Miss Atira."

Atira looked at him. Fang Hong no longer considered himself an outsider, which gave her so peace of mind. She thought maybe this was for the best. So she nodded slightly, signaling Tianlan to take the money.

Seeing this, the others followed suit. Tianlan said that as a trainee, he didn't need so much money and decided to just contribute his wealth to the team. Luo Yu and Gita also nodded in agreent, while the Papalarians looked as if they were about to die but eventually gave up their money under Tianlan's coercion.

The Lion People, Reed, were quite generous, as was their tradition; male Lion People had almost no concept of property, but it was a different story for the females.

In the end, Fang Hong received five gold coins as pocket money—this was Atira's reward for him. He felt too embarrassed to refuse and pocketed the money under the envious gazes of the Papalarians.

"According to tradition, you've got to treat everyone to a al, Ade," Parker ca over to say the mont the money was divided.

"Of course, that's no problem, you guys pick the place."

"You an it?"

"Of course," Fang Hong was in a good mood and ant every word he said.

After the division of spoils was over, adventurers ca to et Fang Hong. Not to ntion that Fang Hong had helped them make money, the very fact that a young Combat Artisan like him was enough reason to flatter him.

Everyone knew very well how much a Combat Artisan could boost a team's overall strength. What truly capable Combat Artisan would consider joining a group like theirs? Fang Hong's presence in a small team like Atira's surprised many—

He was a Combat Artisan capable of Dual Control, after all.

It was absolutely different from an Alchemist who went about flaunting a Clockwork Fairy and deceiving others.

So, there appeared quite a few people with ulterior motives, all subtly hinting at wanting Fang Hong to join their Adventure Group. However, before Fang Hong could answer, they had already been driven away by Tianlan, one after another.

After the malicious ones left, the remaining people's intentions were much purer. They were either curious about Combat Artisans or ca to thank Fang Hong, lavishing him with complints and titles like "Miraculous Combat Artisan," "Lucky Star," "Master of Explosions," and the like.

A few exuberant Invokers even brought out wine, and Fang Hong, unable to resist everyone's enthusiasm, drank a few sips, which soon made his head heavy and feet light. He couldn't rember what gibberish he uttered, and in the end, it was Atira who carried him away, dancing and with a flushed face.

This caused everyone else to burst into hearty laughter, filling the forest with a very rry atmosphere for a while.

According to Tianlan, Brother Ade had a very low tolerance for alcohol.

When Fang Hong sobered up from the alcohol, the moon was already high in the trees. Silver radiance stread through the night sky, filling the small room through the window—with everything pitch-dark yet remarkably bright, motes of light danced in the air like fireflies but were rely dust floating up and down.

From afar ca the calls of night owls, distant and mysterious. In the cramped room, ti was very quiet, like silent grains of sand, moving slowly along.

Not far away, the wooden wall that had been split during the day was rely patched up with a plank nailed over it, leaving a clear crack still visible.

The platform was still a bit too fragile. If only it could be modified.

He knew of a Magic Blackwood that, while lighter, had much sturdier physical properties. Using it to build the platform would ensure it wouldn't break upon impact.

Higher up, there was Fairy Oak, one of the standard materials for building Floating Ships, even stronger but, being a strategic reserve resource for various nations, was priced beyond reasonable reach.

In the end, it always ca down to money.

Fang Hong pondered distractedly, his head splitting with pain—I'm never drinking again. Massaging his head, he turned over in bed and sat up halfway before noticing Miss Fairy sitting by the window.

Bathed in the moonlight, which was like milk, Little Fairy looked up at the Silver Moon, hands on knees, her expression calm and focused, the scene sacred and elegant.

"Tata?"

"Mr. Knight, you're awake?"

"Haven't you slept?" Fang Hong asked, curious.

"It's nothing," Tata shook her head: "I just think tonight's moonlight is particularly beautiful."

"Miss Tata likes the moon?"

"Fairies don't dislike moonlight, Mr. Knight."

Fang Hong was silent, realizing he had asked a foolish question. Fairies were born from the moonlight and stars, from flowers and dewdrops—their light's essence. They were children of the night, with no fairy disliking the serene night—though most of them were passionate, noisy, and full of curiosity.

He watched Miss Fairy gazing at the moonlight in a daze, and since he had just woken up and wasn't sleepy, he simply opened the drawer below and took out an eyeball from the Silver Blaze Forest contained in a bottle. He lifted it and compared it against the moonlight.

The eyeball, threaded with nerve fibers, swiveled a bit but wasn't very lively. He had added the No. 14 Magic Solution to the culture fluid, but it still needed more ti to regain full activity.

Fang Hong put the object back, leaned back on the bed, and opened the community—the bluish light slowly unfolded, illuminating his face. The first thing he saw was the ssage from Wu Di after he had added Wu Di's contact ID.
