Fang Hong felt as if his chest had been hit hard, the air in his lungs was instantly squeezed out, and he opened his mouth wide as if he were in a vacuum, no matter how he breathed, he couldn't take in a bit of air. For a mont, he only saw stars, but imdiately understood what kind of spell the opponent was using.
True Word Technique, one of the most profound spells in the Prophecy System.
Fang Hong's vision went black, his heart bitter, thinking why he always encountered such abnormal-level characters. From that shield alone, the opponent's level must be at least above Level 40.
He actually just realized who he had encountered.
The community said that 'Eye of Revelation' had only three Hall Defenders above Level 40, and these three Hall Guard Sorcerers were actually the actual leaders of the 'Eye of Revelation'. He couldn't believe his 'luck' in encountering one of them right off the bat. But being suffocated made him dizzy, wishing only to pass out imdiately to escape the discomfort.
Yet suddenly, it was as if he heard a soft noise in his mind, like the sound of sothing being broken free. The next mont, Fang Hong suddenly felt air filled with the sll of dust rushing into his lungs. He couldn't help but cough loudly, for the first ti finding the musty, moldy air so captivating.
Due to lack of oxygen, his mind hadn't fully cleared, remaining dazed. He only heard the Hall Defender murmur next to him: "Dark Force?"
Fang Hong then realized that it wasn't so mysterious power that helped him break free from that spell, but rather a Dark Ritual. Because the Choking Technique nearly took his life, and the Dark Ritual happened to help him resist a potentially fatal attack, the power of the Sea of Light surged out from the Ether Network, instantly breaking through the opponent's spell control.
The Hall Defender's level was indeed not low at over forty, but compared to the Dark Ritual, it was clearly incomparable, for this thing had once resisted Dark Deities and Toragotos.
After Fang Hong realized this, he no longer had any thoughts of ambushing the opponent. The only thing on his mind was to leave this place, getting as far away from that dangerous figure as possible.
Whether it was because the Hall Defender hadn't realized it or for so other reason, when he got up and stumbled forward, that Hall Defender didn't stop him but watched as he walked away. Fang Hong was very puzzled, as he had prepared several ans of retaliation but didn't use any.
But puzzled as he was, he didn't stop for a mont, sprinting wildly forward.
Freedom was in sight.
But unexpectedly, in the empty corridor ahead, Fang Hong suddenly felt as if he had hit an invisible wall. He crashed into it headfirst, his face squashed against the air wall, then he was suddenly bounced back, heavily hitting the ground.
Of course, he didn't perceive such rich detail himself. In fact, the mont he crashed, his vision went black and he passed out.
The last thought before fainting seed not to be why there was a wall here?
But instead, he rembered that his twelve Mares Knights were still in the lecture hall-like room.
This was a blood loss.

Aierna put down the crystal in her hand.
It was a Transmission Crystal, though sowhat different from the usual ones. It was placed on a copper base, suspended in mid-air, completely transparent, with a faint, colorful glow. Twelve smaller crystals, arranged in three layers, circled this Main Crystal, maintaining self-rotation and slowly orbiting the Main Crystal with a rotation cycle of one minute.
If Fang Hong were here, he might recognize this crystal. It was the Main Transmission Crystal of the Tansnier Crafting Association. This type of crystal was designed and made about seventy years ago for long-distance communication. In fact, in Osh and Colin Ishurian, almost every Artisan Association, both the main and branch offices, possessed such a crystal.
Its design can transform text, voice, and image into Ether, teleporting across hundreds of miles, then through similar crystals at a relay station to continue teleporting until reaching the destination.
In fact, every Transmission Crystal in the Tansnier Crafting Association is linked to this Main Crystal. Those with weaker functions, ordinary Transmission Crystals, without the Main Crystal's support, can only communicate within a few hundred ters. Portable Transmission Crystals have even shorter ranges, typically only about a hundred ters, and are subject to various interferences.
Only the Invoker and Dragon Knight's Starlight Material can transmit information ignoring distance and space.
Nevertheless, the Transmission Crystal is still the greatest invention of Alchemy in this century.
"Still can't do it?"
Aierna asked the two Alchemists beside her.
The three were in a small room resembling the inside of a clock tower. But this place was evidently not within the Tansnier Crafting Association, as the design requirents for the Main Transmission Crystal demanded it be kept away from other ether-disturbing Magic Guided Conductors, generally located within a mile of the Artisan Association.
This place in Tansnier was the Elistar opposite the Artisan Association, a spire-shaped building, the third tallest in Tansnier, aside from the Artisan Association and the Cloud Lighthouse.
Both Alchemists shook their heads simultaneously.
"What about other channels?" Aierna inquired again.
"All channels are completely jamd, Chairman," the Alchemist replied, "I've never seen such strong interference."
Aierna turned her head, her gaze piercing through the tower's aperture window. The sky over Tansnier was murky, a fierce storm raising sands and pebbles thousands of ters high, forming a grey-yellow curtain. Though it was just past noon, the sky was already dark as dusk.
"It's been a long ti since Istania experienced such a dust storm," Aierna responded, "but even a dust storm couldn't interfere with communication to this extent. You continue to stand guard here; I'll use a Magic ssenger to ask the Artisan Association what exactly is happening."
The two Alchemists glanced at each other, finally nodding in agreent.
