"But you didn't do it, simply because you were too superstitious of your own strength."

"You know what I'm talking about, Dragon's Golden Eyes Madam."

Dragon's Golden Eyes silently watched Fang Hong.

Fang Hong also spoke deliberately, word by word, "You know how to quell and end the anger and pain of these undead souls—"

"As the witness to everything thirty years ago, no one knows better than you why Dolifen's Phantom Realm exists, Dragon's Golden Eyes."

"Obsession is the root of this chain; once the hatred is severed, it will naturally dissipate like smoke."

"But you didn't do that."

"Your confidence and arrogance ultimately buried you, and the one who created this Phantom Realm always knew that you would never bow to these souls you deem as beneath you."

"It turns out she was right."

"So we have today's scene—"

"You expect to bow to these people? How ridiculous, they can't even save themselves," Dragon's Golden Eyes shrieked, "That pathetic little girl thought she could change sothing, and in the end, she got herself involved as well. And that fool, if it weren't for him, how could I have obtained the Blade of Victory so easily?"

"With my own power, I can leave this place just the sa."

"And now you've also obtained your own power."

Fang Hong looked at the shattered shadow of Galapea on the ground.

"But whether you can leave this place or not, we will know very soon. Let's et in the final scene, Dragon's Golden Eyes, and soon you'll understand who is right and who is wrong between us."

"We'll see about that," Dragon's Golden Eyes said, looking at him fiercely. She took a step back, her wings gently unfurling behind her.

"You cannot abandon us, Lord Nikopolas," the ssenger scread in terror, losing his previous composure.

But Dragon's Golden Eyes glanced at him with disgust, "Unfortunately, I am not Nikopolas, and she won't save you either."

Saying so, she took flight towards the sky, and the do of the underground cavern actually cracked open with a thunderous noise, and she flew away through the gap.

The entire underground hall seed to start collapsing.

A large chunk of rock fell from the ceiling, landing right on the ssenger, burying him under a cloud of flying dust.

The walls of the hall crumbled away, revealing a path surrounded by rolling dust and mist.

The remaining Dragon Worship Sect followers turned and rushed into the mist without a second thought. The Sea of the Undead closely followed suit and charged in as well.

The underground hall changed into an expansive square.

Fang Hong recognized the surroundings, it was part of the Upper City District's avenues, and they had returned to this place once more. Flas blazed high, reflecting in each person's face.

He turned around.

He saw Parker shivering as he ran out from a corner, seemingly wanting to run to Hilveld for comfort, but he was kicked away by Miss Maid.

Fang Hong shook his head and said to the blood-covered Hudi, "Go pick up Miss Hes."

Hudi was stunned for a good while before asking, "Am I that useless, Ade?"

"Why are you asking that?" Fang Hong said speechlessly, "You should ask Miss Hes."

Hudi turned his head back in confusion.

The girl lay weakly on the ground, looking up at him with gentle eyes.

Miss Spoon also walked over from not far away, her black fur shining like glossy satin in the light of the fire, curling her tail, affectionately rubbing against his leg.

With tears streaming down, Hudi lifted the girl in his arms.

"Don't cry, Hudi, you look so ugly when you cry," Hes said with a weak smile.

But Hudi cried even harder.

The ghosts were passing through the square.

But so of them stopped, their eyes seemingly regaining clarity. They looked around, and finally glanced at the city they had long been familiar with.

Then they turned into specks of light, disappearing above the streets.

So ghosts were bowing to Fang Hong with respect.

And a man, dashing out from the crowd, approached Hudi. He seed incredulous as he looked at the daughter in the young man's arms, as if wanting to co forward but fearing recognition.

"Hes, I... I didn't expect to actually find you," he said.

"This gentleman didn't lie to us..."

"Father..."

The girl's voice choked, and tears glimred in her eyes.

It was their first eting in thirty years, yet it felt like a separation of a thousand years.

People had been searching for each other back and forth in the Phantom Realm, but destiny kept them apart like distant shores, until this mont when the chains of fate were finally cut.

The end had arrived.

With tears welling up, the girl smiled, "Father, have you co to take away? I am so tired, every day I reminisce about the past, but the house is always empty, no matter what, I can't wait for the dawn of the next day..."

"It seems like that day will never co."

"Dawn has arrived, my daughter," the man replied, "We are leaving, but I can't take you with ."

"Why, father?"

"Because it's ti; I will entrust you to another man in your life."

He looked at Hudi.

Fang Hong also looked at Hudi.

Only Hudi stood there dazed, looking at the girl who was beginning to blush, her face full of shyness.

"Say yes," Fang Hong looked at the fool exasperatedly, "What are you daydreaming about?"

Only then did Hudi co back to his senses and stuttered, "Hes, I..."

"I understand," Hes said, her face red, "I understand, Hudi's feelings... Thank you, thank you, Hudi."

"But I haven't done anything."
