Now reading: Chapter 42 - 13: The Resurrection Point Beneath the Ruins3 from Pillar of Yita, a Action novel by Crimson Flame.

The latter is a symbol of the democratization of alchemy and magical power, making the civilization of alchemy truly feasible.

Of course, none of this happened overnight. Rolin Ed rely completed the initial design, and the usage conditions for the first generation of Holy Crystals and Magic Guided Reactors were much harsher than today's, far from being democratized.

However, it is precisely because generations of successors continued to expand upon this path that the alchemy civilization of Eteliria has reached its current scale.

Among them were pioneers like Hain Famm.

The achievents of Hain Famm ntioned on the page — he created a unique type of crystal 'zero', which is a Non-Attribute Crystal. Regarding this crystal, one sentence particularly struck Fang Hong, that was Hain Famm had created a true Non-Attribute Holy Crystal.

Non-Attribute Holy Crystal.

When Fang Hong saw this sentence, he almost couldn't believe his eyes. He read it over three tis to make sure he hadn't misread.

The so-called Holy Crystal is the vessel for a Dragon Soul. They are ford naturally or manufactured by humans. Naturally ford Holy Crystals are the crystallized remnants of true dragon creatures after death, which under special conditions humans can resonate with, becoming Sky Knights.

On the other hand, artificially created Holy Crystals carry an Artificial Dragon Soul, and those who form a contract with them beco Dragon Knights.

The biggest difference between the two is that the forr, influenced by the powerful mories and heritage of dragon creatures, generally focus on enhancing one's own body for combat.

The latter, lacking a true Dragon Attribute legacy, take a different approach — treating the Artificial Dragon Soul like an intelligent AI, using it to control the Dragon Knight Rigging to aid in combat, compensating for the strength gap with Sky Knights.

This makes Dragon Knights a trinity of the Dragon Soul, the operator themselves, and the Dragon Knight Rigging, with none being dispensable.

So Invokers believe that Sky Knights represent a physical developnt direction, while Dragon Knights are more suitable for intellectual, summoning, and magical system developnt. However, as natural Holy Crystals are rare and hard to co by, many top physical-oriented Invokers also choose the path of Dragon Knights.

But regardless of the path, the Holy Crystal is a symbol of combat-oriented professions.

This is because a Holy Crystal must first be an Attribute Crystal, as Non-Attribute Crystals cannot sustain the imnse strength of the Dragon Soul, which is almost an established fact.

Yet today, this established fact seems to no longer hold true.

As long as the text recorded on this stone page is real.

This has extraordinary significance for Fang Hong because a Non-Attribute Holy Crystal ans that those without magical adaptability can also beco Dragon Knights. Even if the stone page states that Hain Famm only designed the Holy Crystal and did not create the corresponding Dragon Knight Construct.

That's alright.

After all, with his level of spiritual power, he can't control the Dragon Knight Construct; that's sothing to consider around levels 20 to 30. And just an Artificial Dragon Soul alone is enough to benefit him imnsely—don't forget, he's an Alchemist, and Combat Artisans are known as Lesser Dragon Knights.

This is because artisans have the ability to control multiple Flexible Constructs.

And the essence of the Dragon Knight Construct is just a kind of top-tier Flexible Construct.

More importantly, the Dragon Soul brings a very powerful ability — the Knight System or Dragon Knight System — which is essentially the native form of the Summoners System.

In fact, the human Glow Device was copied based on the Dragon Knight System. It's a widely known fact that the first Invokers entered the Stargate directly, and they were not too different from Fang Hong now.

They were outstanding military personnel and scientists selected by governnts who expanded human understanding of Eteliria. Utilizing Glow Stones and human electronic information technology, they replicated the Dragon Knight System — the Summoners System.

This system opened a new chapter in the Stargate Era, quantifying data, enabling people to explore the New World like playing gas, significantly lowering the barrier to entry. In fact, since then, Invokers gradually beca democratized and accepted by the public.

And the governnts and military agencies that initiated the process gradually moved from the foreground to the background, letting the exploration of the New World beco a stage comrcialized and for entertainnt purposes.

Although he didn't show it, Fang Hong actually dread of having a Summoners System.

Especially after this recent experience, he felt this way even more strongly.

And now, this dream seed to be within reach, almost tangible. Furthermore, it was an advanced version of the Summoners System, sothing that only top-tier Invokers could access in the second world.

The Dragon Knight System.

In that instant, Fang Hong felt overwheld by imnse happiness and silently prayed that the respectable Hain Famm Mr's Holy Crystal was definitely nearby.

It was highly likely, he had a premonition that this Holy Sanctuary had a very deep connection to the elf known as Hain Famm; otherwise, they wouldn't have erected a statue of him here alone.

He even had a feeling that this Holy Sanctuary was the real secret hidden beneath the ruins.

Although the Hailin Crown was valuable, the tiline didn't quite match up. The Colin Ishurian Alliance had only been established for a little over seven hundred years, and the forging of the Hailin Crown might have been earlier, but it wouldn't predate the history of the Nulin Elves Empire.

The Nulin Elves wouldn't create a Giant Construct nad 'Cerete' just to protect a Crown that would only appear in the future, so the true target it guarded must be located deeper within the ruins.

That was this Holy Sanctuary—

Fang Hong quickly sorted out his thoughts. The more he thought about it, the more he felt his speculation was correct. He suppressed the excitent in his heart and finished reading the last sentence on the stone page, then looked around after not finding any additional clues.

The side hall was empty.

But he imdiately noticed sothing odd: the light in the main hall ca from the Light Quartz attached to the arch ceiling, so how could there be light in this side hall?

He instinctively looked up and indeed saw a colorless, semi-transparent Crystal, suspended above the statue's head.

That shape, that soft glow, the Dragon Soul imprint and Alchemy Trace on the Crystal.

Without a doubt—

It was undoubtedly a Holy Crystal.

Fang Hong felt parched, as if his heart was about to stop beating. What he saw was no longer just a Holy Crystal; it was his future path.

A Gateway that could be pushed open.

Behind it, there would be an even more expansive world.

He reached out his hand as if yearning, as if he could grasp it directly, but then he suddenly froze—wait, the Dragon Soul imprint on that Holy Crystal was transparent.

No Dragon Soul?

A Void Crystal?
