"Explain yourself, Vice Chairman,"

Zhang Leng raised his voice as if trying to make it carry through the forest, drawing the attention of people in the camp opposite.

The Vice Chairman of Rain Listener wore an awkward expression, remained silent with his mouth shut, and glanced back at Fang Hong and the others before speaking softly, "Miss Atira, this does not concern you, please head back first."

Atira nodded and was about to lead the others away.

But Zhang Leng extended a hand, and a tall, two-handed swordsman stepped out from behind him to block their path, his voice resonating assertively, "Hold on, who said you could leave?"

Fang Hong stopped and eyed the young man.

"Zhang Leng, this matter has nothing to do with Miss Atira," the Vice Chairman said with a hint of anger, "This is an internal guild affair, do you intend to throw people out?"

"Who is really losing face here? I'd like to ask what the guild leadership is doing at this mont, and where the chairman has gone?" He glanced at Fang Hong and others, "The senior club mbers are missing, are you planning a way out for yourselves too? Where do you intend to go, Elite? You've sold the guild for a good price, what about us?"

"Nonsense," the Vice Chairman burst out in anger, "Zhang Leng, where did you hear these absurdities? How could I and the chairman betray the guild? As for the senior club matters, we are also unaware, besides, how could Elite be interested in a guild like ours?"

"Then, Lord Vice Chairman, please explain why you've brought the guild to this desolate wilderness without telling anyone, do you think it's still necessary to proceed with the trial under these circumstances? You claim there's no ulterior motive, but your actions don't reassure anyone."

The Vice Chairman's expression shifted slightly. bowing his head, he responded, "That's rely your opinion, Zhang Leng, others don't think so."

His tone softened, "Let Miss Atira and the others leave, I can explain to you—"

But the opponent was firm, "You must explain first, to everyone," he said while glancing at Fang Hong and others, "to prevent irreparable damage."

The Vice Chairman frowned tightly, "What do you an by irreparable damage? I don't understand your point, Zhang Leng."

Zhang Leng shrugged, "Let's be frank, Vice Chairman, after all, we don't have much ti left. The guild's achievent in the first half of the year, since the club has now given up on the guild, hence it should belong to everyone as a common property. I'm just asking on behalf of everyone—where's that thing, isn't it fair?"

"You—so, you were after that thing too?" the Vice Chairman looked at him incredulously, "I see now, Zhang Leng, you've been bought by those people—when you say ti is running short, what do you an?"

Zhang Leng took out a small device, he sneered, "Exactly what you are thinking, Vice Chairman."

"Wait, is that?" the man's expression changed drastically.

Fang Hong noticed at once that it was a Crystal Communicator. He sensed sothing was amiss and tugged at Atira's gown from behind, signaling her to get ready to leave.

Elf Miss understood his signal, turned back, and subtly nodded at him.

anwhile, the young man said sothing into the communicator, "You can start now."

Before he finished speaking, a burst of flas suddenly rose from the darkness in the distance, the shockwave from an explosion reached seconds later, slightly shaking the ground and causing a stir throughout the camp.

The Vice Chairman watched the scene, his face still in shock, "You dare, Zhang Leng?"

"Why wouldn't I?" Zhang Leng responded matter-of-factly, "We are all seeking alternatives, why should we see who's better, Vice Chairman?"

"Nonsense, neither I nor the chairman are what you think, the chairman made this decision precisely to save the guild," the Vice Chairman retorted angrily, his teeth clenched, "Zhang Leng, you—"

Zhang Leng looked at him with a bit of surprise, then looked at Fang Hong and the others, unable to hide his astonishnt, "So you an you still have that thing in your possession, that's even better."

"You—"

The young man casually spread his hands, "It doesn't matter who has it, in the end, all you need to do is stay here and cooperate with . My task is just to ensure you stay in this place—oh dear Vice Chairman, if you hadn't ventured out of the camp, I really wouldn't have found such a good opportunity."

But before he could finish, a terrible screech tore through the air.

The young man turned around in surprise, just in ti to see the Alchemist he was watching raise his right hand towards him, and a tal Flying Fist zood at him.

Caught off guard, the young man instinctively ducked, allowing the Flying Fist to miss him by re inches. But before he could feel relieved, he realized that the punch was not even ant for him.

With a screeching noise, the Flying Fist hit the tall two-handed swordsman beside him, who, caught by surprise, was struck in the face.

The man's facial skin deford due to the significant impact, then bounced back, and the whole man staggered backward, lifting off the ground and getting blown a few feet away to slam heavily into a tree.

The Fenris Pine shuddered for a while, dropping needles all over the place.

No one could understand why a life profession-oriented Alchemist would suddenly show such ferocity—what the hell was going on? Even including the Vice Chairman himself, everyone was dumbfounded.

Soone reacted quicker, instinctively reaching for the weapon at his waist. But Fang Hong was quicker, a bright spot suddenly lit up on the man's chest followed by a deafening bang, and under the surprise attack, Evasion Value ant nothing.

The man's breastplate visibly caved in, and he was hurled backward, following in the footsteps of the previous two-handed swordsman.

Fang Hong held the Magnum in his left hand, smoke still curling from the barrel of the 'Lion' Handgun.

He didn't waste words with these people; he acted when he said he would. This was the true nature of an Adventurer—well, of course, he wasn't always like this.

Because it was Mr. Big Cat who taught him, for the unrighteous, the Paladin's guideline is a sudden strike.

He raised his right hand 롸

"Was it that guy who pushed you into the water earlier?"

"Yes, yes," Tianlan clung tightly to the corner of his garnt, cheering excitedly and waving her little fist with great satisfaction, "Brother Ade, you're amazing!"

But then she looked up with her small face and asked, "But I feel like you should have hit the mastermind."

"No worries, watch how I teach him a lesson for you."

Fang Hong turned and sneered coldly, showing off a mouthful of shiny white teeth to Zhang Leng.

He might be socially inept, but that didn't an he was a pushover. On the contrary, he was actually impulsive by nature, just trying to help out decently; yet, these people, both in and out of their words, treated him like a thief?

Did they really think he had no temper?

The attitudes of these two were utterly dismissive. Zhang Leng was so furious he nearly blew his top. Unable to contain himself, he yelled, "What the hell are you still staring at?" But shout as he might, the man was clearly very calm; with a swift motion, he dodged behind soone and at the sa ti, a wand flew into his hand.

However, it was useless, the person who reacted first was Hilveld.

In fact, the Miss Ship's Officer seed to have a telepathic connection, as she produced a Magic Guided Gun from her hands like a magic trick the mont Fang Hong made his move.

She kneeled on the ground, loading her gun, and raised the rifle. Amidst the darkness, a flash of gunfire appeared.

The Invoker in front of Zhang Leng hadn't yet reacted when he suddenly fell backward to the ground.

She then pulled the bolt back, a golden shell traced a beautiful arc, and her right hand moved across her skirt, drawing another bullet from the belt.

She then turned the gun barrel calmly and pulled the trigger, shooting down another enemy who was about to approach Zhang Leng.

However, this shot was anticipated by the opponent, who had calculated their evasion, and it only hit the man's right leg.

Then Hilveld lowered her gun and opened the bulky heat dissipation device, letting out a hiss of steam.

As soon as her gunfire ceased, an enemy tried to approach, but Miss Maid stepped forward, blocking these people.

Xiesta stretched her arms behind her, and giant arm armors fitted over her arms. The arm armors opened their streamline flaps with a piercing screech, and the airflow swirled into a wind wall.

The wind wall moved forward, sweeping up dried leaves from the forest floor, pushing the people around Zhang Leng to continually fall back.

Seeing this, Zhang Leng felt an ominous premonition and raised his wand, trying to cast Magic Guided Spells, a red light shield erged in front of him.

But his spell wasn't completed in ti; out of the darkness, a Flying Fist whistled towards him. He cursed silently, seeing the opponent's straightforward attack as utterly foolish.

But frustratingly, he found no way to counter it.

The punch hit the light shield that had yet to fully form, and the spell shattered to pieces, its magic guided patterns on the wand dimming slightly.

Then the Magic Guided Reactor behind him also burst into sparks.

Ether Magic Power coursed through his spine like electricity, causing his long hair to stand straight up, monster-like.

Zhang Leng never expected that these, in his eyes, harmless people would take such decisive action.

He had observed them for two days, understanding their capabilities. The little girl was just a trainee and the NPC elf was nothing special.

The delicate Lady Noble seed well-educated, and that maid—where the hell did those arm armors co from?

The only ones with combat capability were the Lion Paladin and the Papalarian Nightingale, who might count as a half. But they weren't here, were they?

Then there was that Alchemist kid; he had observed him for two days, certain that he was indeed dedicated to his life profession.

And quite professional at that, his level in craftsmanship had to be not low.

But how did things change so quickly? This script wasn't right at all.

Dizzy, he watched the opponent raise a three-style 'Lion' handgun towards him, feeling death's approach for the first ti, he quickly shouted, "Wait—!"

But Fang Hong clearly didn't an to wait, and he didn't recognize anyone nad "wait," so without hesitation, he pulled the trigger.

A deafening boom.

Flas ford a tongue of fire, shooting directly from the handgun's muzzle to the Combat Wizard's chest, but a conspicuous white light lit up from a necklace on his chest and cracked with a snap.

"My life-saving necklace!"

Zhang Leng's voice was heart-wrenchingly anguished, causing anyone who heard it to feel sad and shed tears.

That necklace ultimately saved his life, the white light instantly ford into a round shield, blocking the fatal lead bullet. But the impact still sent him flying backwards, striking the Two-Handed Swordsman who was shakily rising up with the support of a pine tree.

Both of them fell down together.
