"Does this guy not need to get familiar with a new Construct at all?"

Everyone couldn't help but harbor this question in their hearts.

However, they were actually blaming Fang Hong unjustly. Fang Hong was naturally not superhuman; he couldn't skillfully use a completely unfamiliar Construct model imdiately. As far as he knew, such a person did not exist in Eteliria now, and he anticipated that it would likely remain so in the future.

It was just that the Energy Angel itself was a "Variant" 'Sword Bearer,' and their combat thods and operational chanisms were not much different. Moreover, he already had a considerable understanding of Sword Bearers. What was more important was that he actually used additional calculative power to control the two Energy Angels, ensuring that any mistakes made in use could be promptly adjusted.

The reason he only controlled two Sword Bearers instead of the three he was capable of was simply that he only possessed two Sword Bearers.

To this, Parker and Xiangzi were quite accustod; they no longer found Fang Hong's exceptional control power strange, especially the Papalarians, who were completely used to seeing Flexible Constructs perform almost as naturally as real humans under the control of Combat Artisans—even more agile, in fact.

So for them, to see the so-called "clumsy" operations would probably be more surprising. How could Flexible Constructs be so cumberso?

However, for everyone else, it remained an understanding that transcended common sense—at least in the First World, this was not within their knowledge of Flexible Constructs and Combat Artisans. Even Sophie and the emotionless Elentalist girl by her side showed a trace of surprise.

The forr couldn't help but take the initiative to ask, "Ade, was that reverse diving maneuver sothing you did by accident?"

Pretty much, Fang Hong thought briefly and nodded.

However, what Miss Hilveld of Silver Weslan was considering was the ability to maintain balance mid-air. Fine posture and center of gravity adjustnts of Flexible Constructs in the air have always been a tough area for Combat Artisans to master. It's not about jumping however one pleases; in reality, the artisan constantly needs to adjust the Construct's minute posture and movents to maintain balance.

Otherwise, let alone combat, even a proper landing would be problematic. In combat, those who can perform smooth maneuvers are essentially a di a dozen.

Thus, for ordinary Combat Artisans, it's generally not recomnded to attempt leaping and floating maneuvers with land-based Constructs. Even if there are such moves, they are mostly pre-determined patterns thoroughly studied by predecessors. In these patterns, how the Construct should jump, how to balance, and how to land are all deconstructed and explained very clearly, and successors often need to repeatedly train and rember before they can master them.

Being well-versed from her experience in Silver Weslan, she had a fair idea of the range of a Combat Artisan's abilities. In fact, to prepare for the enemies they might face later, Silver Weslan would specifically have retired or nearly retired professional Invokers lecture her, a core genius, on the combat techniques of famous Invokers every training season.

Among these were top Combat Artisans, and in Sophie's view, Fang Hong's previous maneuver was very close to the high-end skills of the Agility System Constructs. The technique itself wasn't the issue, but for Fang Hong to let the Energy Angels enter this domain so soon after obtaining them was a bit too far-fetched.

But upon hearing Fang Hong's response, she breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the other party had not exceeded her expectations.

What Miss Hilveld did not entirely expect, however, was that what Fang Hong was actually thinking was—if it hadn't been for the speed he gained from rushing down from the chains, it would indeed have been difficult for him to execute such a flawless maneuver with the Energy Angels. As for rebalancing and the like—why not just make a few adjustnts?

"We have to move quickly."

Fang Hong looked back; the number of Undead on the cliff was increasing, and the Jiefulite Red Cloak Team was having a hard ti breaking through their encirclent. But Undead were, after all, not high-level; it was only a matter of ti before they would catch up.

Moreover, the Undead were not solely targeting the people on that cliff; in fact, they were already pursuing them in this direction along the chains, in great numbers at that. Their movents agile, it wouldn't be long before they could climb onto the platform.

And clearly, the ssage had already been passed on to those on the platform; if they were to delay any longer, they would lose the elent of surprise of their attack.

"In which direction is Miss Hilveld?" Xiangzi asked.

"I think to the southwest," replied a Ranger from Silver Weslan. "The sounds of battle earlier were coming from that direction."

Hearing this, Fang Hong nodded and then put away his Clockwork Fairy. With smoke hanging in the air above the platform, his Clockwork Fairy wouldn't be of much use there, but thankfully Silver Weslan's Scout was reliable.

On the other side of the battlefield.

The smoke had yet to clear, and the air still had a faint scent of burning.

Hilveld watched calmly as the sword was placed against her neck, its long, cold blade reflecting bright light off its surface. Not far away, rows of Gunslingers were holding their Magic Guided Guns, carefully tightening a blockade around the area, and facing the dark muzzles of the guns, the girl turned her head gracefully and said to the others:

"Put down your weapons."

"But Miss—" a group of people in black clothes were anxious.

"Don't worry," Hilveld replied with her usual composure, "they won't act for now."
