Even though so had fallen during the previous impact, these Dark Creatures seed to take no heed of this fact, trampling directly over the bodies of their own kind.
The encirclent, like holes in the dark water's surface, was closing swiftly.
Hilveld and the Energy Angel landed on the other side. Fang Hong looked in that direction, and the girl nodded at him—to indicate she was unhard. He then looked further away where a high tower was splitting apart, the ground trembling seed to be intensifying. Fang Hong raised his hand and pointed, a flash of Silverlight winked out, and the Energy Angel had already taken Miss Ship's Officer farther away with a Blink.
The encirclent had not yet closed, but Fang Hong had already released a swarm of golden Clockwork Fairies. With a wave of his hand, they dropped towards the key nodes where the claws of the Giant Dragon were gathering. Flashes connected in the dark, forming a streak, and after lingering briefly in one's vision, a new 'path' appeared.
The two blinked twice in quick succession, and by the third ti, the landing point had vanished. Ahead still lay the oppressive mass of the enemy, but the third wave of assault had arrived. The Clockwork Fairies ford a flying squadron mid-air, three abreast, swooping down with a howl.
The claws of the Giant Dragon now realized the threat of these tiny contraptions, scattering in all directions, but was it too late? Compared to the Agility of the Clockwork Fairies, their clumsiness and sluggishness beca all the more apparent. The golden orbs drew arcs as they plumted to the ground, transforming into a vast light that engulfed everything.
And a golden path of fla extended forward through the dark, the light deeply etching into people's Vision.
People finally snapped out of their initial shock.
A path forged with fire and sword—just like the ancient adage of the Ishurian, in that ignorant era when mortals and Dwarves from Eteliria, with the help of the Nulin Elves, defeated the minions of darkness.
They watched the young man as he directed his Flexible Constructs to launch their attack. He advanced with composure, guiding the howling squadron with gestures as they swept across the battlefield's sky. Wherever they passed, the Dark Creatures inevitably scurried to avoid them, everyone receding like the tide.
Finally, he enraged the Dark Giant Dragon in the sky, which let out a deafening screech, spreading its wings in a swoop. But Fang Hong raised his palm towards it, and in the darkness, a sprinkling of starry lights flew towards them, one after another, illuminating the Giant Dragon's diving path from top to bottom, sequentially bursting into light.
That sun-like radiant torch reflected in the depths of Fang Hong's dark eyes. Three successive waves of saturated Attack traced a long golden line in the sky, from south to north. The Dark Giant Dragon, still a young beast, finally could not endure and wailed as it plumted towards the ground.
Its tragic state horrified the other dragons of its kind. Fang Hong provocatively raised his right hand towards these Dark Giant Dragons which, despite flapping their wings, could not get away fast enough, and there in the darkness was a silver Crown Mark, reminding these Dark Giant Dragons of the lesson learned earlier. At last, they beca subdued.
One man, several dragons, and the retreating forces of Dark Power in the blinding light seed to create a fixed scene.
And that young man stood at the center of the battlefield—
Everyone's hearts swelled with emotion, their gaze ignited with a fla, as if they were witnessing a marvelously grand spectacle, feeling as though they stood shoulder to shoulder with that young hero, jointly defending against the powerful enemy.
Even if it was but a mont on the battlefield, it was destined to be etched in people's hearts, turning this mont into eternity.
Suddenly soone shouted from the square: "Morning Light Holy Sword, Hailin Radiance—"
"Stand with us!"
"Colin Ishurian—"
Then a storm erupted as people raised their clenched right fists and roared:
"Victory is ours!"
"Our hero!"
"Keep moving forward—!"
Phales Copper Bay was pushing open the window beside the castle, listening to the thunderous cheers from outside, coming from the direction of the square. And the old man's wrinkled face couldn't help but form a slight smile.
In the community, countless posts were flooding the screens.
