Nether nodded. The Silver Tower had established three great libraries in Eteliria, one in Elpaxin, one in Golande, and another in the Sanctified Forge Hall. They were an unofficial organization, and most people only regarded them as a loose union of scholars.
"Have you investigated them?"
"Just the superficial news. I've also heard about the Alchemists in their background, but that's not surprising considering Alchemy is mainstream in this world."
"Moreover, what's crucial is, if Silver Tower had indeed perfected this technology, then Fairy Masters would no longer be mainstream, would they?"

As the only tool in Eteliria capable of rapidly infusing the main crystal with magic power, it was incredibly expensive. The military and various Grand Guilds regarded it as a key strategic reserve, and it was typically seen only in significant disputes due to its prohibition in tournants.
Because of its rarity, Sidewind Port and the Colin Ishurian Artisan Association, in their desperation, could not secure many; he received three, and the second supply drop straightforwardly had none of these crystals.
In the previous breakthrough at the five bridges, he had used two, and with one remaining, it was his last in stock. Upon inserting the crystal into the Magic Guided Reactor, the stored magic power visibly surged, but it only reached about one fifth before stopping.
There was no helping it; the product was that delicate. Although it quickly replenished the magic power, it could only restore up to one fifth of the reactor's capacity, no matter how many crystals he used at once. He then removed the infusion crystal, tossed it aside, and replaced it with two magic storage crystals.
The latter, although slow to recharge, boasted large capacity and continued recharging even during combat, which was sufficient for regular use.
He looked ahead. After six blinks, plus the distance walked in between, he had covered roughly five hundred ters; at this point, he had already passed through the core area of the Sun Temple—now turned into a pile of ruins amid the turmoil, the once mighty divine power's overlord could no longer protect its Holy Land, a deeply sigh-inducing sight.
Fang Hong saw no more of that light network. According to Salrutaka's statent, part of the Sea of Light here had fractured, and the protection it offered to the temple's core area was gone. The ground roared as it crumbled; he distinctly felt the Earth's crust loosening beneath his feet.
Indeed, he had to kneel on one knee and use one hand to stabilize himself on the shaking ground, as the streets' faults undulated like waves.
Fang Hong then looked to the side, where Hilveld was also moving away from the Energy Angel, approaching him. The healing potion had worked, nding her wounds nicely, if not still leaving her weak; she could at least move on her own.
He took the young woman by the hand, pulling her to his side, only to discover that Hilveld had sohow drawn her handgun, ready to fight alongside him.
"Look over there, Lord Captain," Hilveld pointed in a direction, "I guess that's our destination."
Fang Hong had already noticed that place.
It was the direction Salrutaka had pointed out to him earlier; the dark still revealed a number of towering pyramids. The place seed strange; logically, it shouldn't be a core area, but at the mont, it was one of the most intact areas in this central Holy Sanctuary.
Xinsas Serpentfolk were likely not too concerned with Salrutaka's Holy Land. The only possibility Fang Hong could think of was that the later arrivals fiddled with it, possibly the Nulin Elves who had left the secrets of the Elf Holy Grail.
If that was the case, then it indeed confird their destination, and Hilveld was not wrong—
The area was not too far from here, roughly not exceeding a thousand ters. Fang Hong took a deep breath, already exhausted, but at this mont, a renewed strength erged from the depths of his soul—this journey through the dark underground was so prolonged, and this was the first ti he saw the dawn of hope.
