Now reading: Chapter 766 - 9: Unexpected Combat2 from Pillar of Yita, a Action novel by Crimson Flame.

Even he himself almost died once in the Elf Ruins, and another ti under Fenris, while the death rate for the guild's Invokers was even higher. Never think that the guild would carefully protect its elite trainee mbers. Wu Di, Liuli Yue, and Red Leaf were not the only ones in the Silver Forest Spear and Tabopolis.

Even the Little Princess of Silver Weslan wasn't the only star player cultivated by Silver Weslan. Without real combat, one could only remain superficially impressive, a fact understood by organizations large and small after the Stargate event.

Fang Hong's thought was but a flash.

When the man's strike missed, he seed to realize the predicant and prepared to retreat. But the Magic Guided Conductor had already raised his Magic Guided Wand with his left hand, heavily thrusting it toward the ground. An invisible ripple spread out from him as its center, and a rock column burst from the ground with a roar, hitting the man before he could react, sending him flying into the air.

Only then did the Iron Golem at the Magic Guided Conductor's side make a move, throwing a punch at the man in midair. The massive fist of steel sent him flying, almost producing a cringe-worthy sound of bone cracking.

Afterward, he crashed against a nearby column, tumbling down, lifeless.

The others finally breathed a sigh of relief, having originally thought this man was formidable, only to find the combat ended so easily.

But Hilveld patted Fang Hong on the shoulder from behind, indicating him to look in another direction. Fang Hong turned around and saw the barriers the Magic Guided Conductor had initially set up not only remained but had expanded quite a bit, reaching all the way to the edges of the surrounding ground level arch windows.

"Another battle?" Fang Hong keenly thought, "Does this man have accomplices?"

It wasn't unfounded speculation. The more exceptional a Magic Guided Conductor was, the less likely they were to waste their Magic Power—equating to life, a maxim among Magic Guided Conductors. More importantly, he rarely saw Dragon Worshippers acting alone; usually, they appeared in groups.

Before he could even finish thinking, a sound of shattering glass rang out from all around, and he saw a group of mysterious figures in gray robes breaking through the windows from all sides, pouring into the main hall.

Today was a terrible day for Angina Temple; not a single one of the beautifully designed glass arch windows survived.

"Keep an eye on this guy," the Magic Guided Conductor finally spoke for the second ti, "and don't let them hurt anyone else."

Fang Hong nodded, indicating he understood.

However, the first target of these gray-robed figures wasn't them, nor was it anyone else, but the man in the middle of the hall. They charged straight towards him.

But the Magic Guided Conductor had clearly anticipated this, as a red barrier expanded while, without glancing backward, he turned around and pointed, firing two rays of light, instantly striking down two of the gray-robed figures.

After those n fell, Fang Hong saw beneath their hoods only ordinary human faces, unlike the previous man. However, these individuals all wore a dragon-shaped heraldry on their left chests—as he had seen in Dolifen, identifying them as Dragon Worshippers.

There were initially eleven individuals; after losing two, nine remained.

These individuals were not as formidable as the previous man, but to Fang Hong's dismay, they were also at least Level 20. When their advancent was obstructed, they exchanged glances; so moved towards the Magic Guided Conductor while others circled around to the other side.

Fang Hong only saw two individuals roll behind a pillar, then duck into the shadows behind a row of long benches. His spatial perception and judgnt were extraordinarily sharp, prompting him to imdiately call out, "Two individuals are sneaking in the 7 o'clock direction, speeds four to five, they seem to be moving towards towards the altar—"

This alert turned out to be overprecise; the two n, startled, leaped up from behind the benches exactly where Fang Hong had pinpointed. But they were a split second too late; the Magic Guided Conductor casually hurled a Fireball Technique their way, engulfing the two n and a table in flas.

Magic Guided Conductors and Elentalists were essentially cut from the sa cloth, the forr being dual-trained elentalists, while the latter focused exclusively on magic-guided conduct. Although there were significant differences in casting skills, Magic Guided Conductors truly mastered many Elental Spells.

This Fireball Technique seed to be enhanced by the "Area Spread" Super-Magic Technique, with a frightening range of effect. The two gray-robed figures couldn't escape, burning alive since they clearly belonged to the Agility System and lacked any Shields, turning to ashes amid cries of agony.

Tiny black lights rose from the sea of flas, seemingly trying to reach the sky, but a beam of white light descended from the do of the temple, instantly erasing it into nothingness.

Joking aside, causing trouble in Angina's Temple and thinking of resurrection? As if the Oly Pantheon did not exist?

As the Magic Guided Conductor turned around to throw the fireball, his opponents clearly seized the opportunity. Holding various sharp blades, they stabbed at him, but the Iron Golem behind him simply shifted its body, its broad back 'dinging' and 'dangling' as it caught all the attacks.

Yet, amid the smoke and dust, a shadow slipped behind the Magic Guided Conductor, and the latter seed unaware of this. "Be careful!" Fang Hong had to urgently remind again.

Of course, his own actions were quicker; as soon as the other party threw the fireball, he had already released an old but expensive Construct, the "Mirrorer," he had bought earlier—whose combat ability was not apparent, but its Speed was decent, as it lunged in that direction.

The "Mirrorer's" weapon was a Rapier, but it was disard after just crossing blades with the opponent.
