However, it can't be ruled out that the truth was intentionally concealed, as certainly no one would openly announce they are studying undead spells.

"Human," the 'Skeleton' was evidently annoyed that he hadn't answered directly, "Don't assu that before I figure out the truth, I won't dare kill you, but I can start with your companion."
"This girl was quite concerned about you earlier," it clacked its jaws together, producing a rattling sound: "If you continue to waste ti, I'll cut off one of her hands."
Gita turned pale with fright.
Fang Hong knew that this creature ant what it said, as it lacked human emotions. He thought for a mont before answering, "The reason is actually simple, because I am the heir to the Rogsel Family."
Of course, he lied in hopes of betting whether the opponent had any ties to the Rogsel Family. Although he hadn't entirely fabricated, in a certain sense, he was indeed the Rogsel Family's sole blood inheritor at the mont.
At least, Rockland Rogsel had granted him this authority.
But unexpectedly, the 'Skeleton' sneered upon hearing his words, "Nonsense, you're a Holy Chooser, how could you be the heir to the Rogsel Family's bloodline?"
It pointed the magic wand in its hand at Gita. "Looks like you need a lesson."

Though Chosen often ignore the distinction between their identity and that of natives, him making this mistake is not entirely unusual. Additionally, Fang Hong hadn't anticipated that the 'Skeleton' would know the concept of Chosen.
But this statent indirectly confird Fang Hong's suspicions. He quickly shouted, "Wait, I'm not lying to you."
The 'Skeleton' paused, appearing interested in seeing how he planned to resolve this flawed lie. However, it didn't retract its magic wand, clearly indicating that if Fang Hong uttered a single unsatisfactory word, Gita would likely suffer the consequences.
"Do you recognize Rockland Rogsel?" Fang Hong asked softly.
"Who is that?" The 'Skeleton' flashed a red light in its eyes and countered.
The opponent didn't recognize Dolifen's Praetor, which was not surprising. After all, Aimumu Fortress had been abandoned over a hundred years ago, by which ti Rockland Rogsel had yet to be born.
But Fang Hong quickly asked again, "He was the last Family Head of the Rogsel Family, his father was Maryland, son of Night Hawk—his grandfather was Tantance, who once served as Praetor in Agnis."
"Tantance—" The 'Skeleton' finally showed a reaction upon hearing the na, "So that kid settled down, I thought no woman would fancy him."
It looked at Fang Hong. "But what does that have to do with you, don't try to fool ." The 'Skeleton' said, waving its magic wand above Gita's head.
Miss Natural Historian shivered with fear.
Fang Hong couldn't bear it any longer, unable to help but say, "Is intimidating a little girl aningful, considering you were once quite the Great Sorcerer."
The 'Skeleton' remained silent for a mont, perhaps satisfied with Fang Hong's statent—indeed, being able to transform oneself into a lich clearly indicated it was an outstanding magician. Level 40 is a threshold unattainable not only to natives but to many Chosen as well.
Miss Sicape and Captain Kroid were only around Level 30 when leaving Eteliria.

Yet if the 'Skeleton' had asked him this question before the journey to Dolifen, he might not have been able to respond. But since gaining that bizarre inheritance, he had specifically researched related information.
Hence, he really did know so unknown secret history regarding the decline of the Rogsel Family.
