In fact, brothels, taverns, and coliseums are the essential trio in every village and town in this world. The potent bloodline abilities significantly amplify n’s desires and intensity.
All three brothels are packed, with business booming. The Half-Elf consortium has even started filling them with Half-Elf won to cater to the special preferences of so residents.
After all, experiencing everything in one go is sothing n enjoy too.
Past the brothel district lies the eastern district of the territory. The eastern district of Hesse Town is notorious for its criminals and rebels. Its slums constantly change shape in the cycle of fires and construction, not to ntion the barricades set up by gangs and rebels. However, the eastern edge of this area is more famous because it includes the armory of Hesse Territory and the Dwarf District.
This layered relationship signifies that a normal human would absolutely not cross these distinct areas. Trespassing into the Dwarf Community is very likely to cause disputes unless the intruder carries official docunts with orders from the Lord.
Su Li heard that there is a famous Bossco Bone Casino in the poor district, where many people from all walks of life and rcenaries, adventurers enjoy betting big on spoils. It is the liveliest place in the territory, bar none.
Next to the casino is Schulder’s pawn shop. Ralph Schulder strictly manages his pawn shop here. Potential sellers must swear to Sire Dema and Shalya that their goods are not stolen. Sold items are placed in locked boxes, and custors receive the key only after paynt.
But evidently, with Su Li’s status, it is not appropriate for him to enter the Lower City District. If he barges in with a large group of knights, the people of the Lower City District would not think he’s there to purify the environnt, but would instead believe that their major cris have been exposed, compelling them to fight to their last breath.
A gentleman does not stand under a dangerous wall; Su Li has no intention of entering.
So, after wandering the middle district, Su Li led his forces slowly back to Heisen Castle in the evening glow.
The golden afterglow cast upon the knights’ gleaming armor, elongating their shadows. On either side of their tall silhouettes, the marble bell towers stood ancient and solemn, with the bells chiming lodiously. The Bauhinia Palace, constructed against the mountain’s contour, was majestic and magnificent, with its enormous towers glistening in the sunlight.
After the cleansing of the Land of No Dust, the town’s streets beca clean and tidy, with lush trees beside the roads and fragrant flowers and grass. Even the pedestrians’ white shirts and black robes appeared much more glamorous.
Overall, the people above the commoners in the territory appeared exceptionally spirited and full of vitality.
Any outsider who enters this territory would easily co to the sa conclusion: this is a land full of vitality and hope. As long as the Lord does not beco so foolish, the future is bound to be promising!
As for what the Lord is like, that needs to be confird by a personal visit from the visitor.
Su Li laid out everything ticulously, but unfortunately, until his return to the territory, no standout talents approached him.
When the golden afterglow filled the castle, Su Li walked to the bridgehead, took the mythical-level Dragon Scale fragnt from his waist, and handed it to Tiberus, saying, "Find a ticulous and careful person to take the City Guard Army and clean up the filth in the territory. Especially the Lower City District, don’t treat them as non-humans. Although they may indeed be hard to see as decent persons, at least clean up their living environnt. If a plague breaks out in the Lower City District, the entire Hesse Town will be implicated."
Tiberus took the mythical-level Dragon Scale, appearing much more nacing and imposing. Standing there, the champion-level aura behind him almost solidified, making him look at least four ters tall, wielding a sharp giant rune war axe, and his shiny bald head — no one would doubt him being a Divine Chosen Knight.
Those unfamiliar would mistake him for the Sun Goddess’s Divine Chosen at a glance.
Tiberus, receiving the mythical-level material, complained a bit, saying, "Should I go myself? Well, then the Lower City District would be in chaos, who knows how many dimwits would lose limbs."
Su Li nonchalantly replied, "You can also persuade other Champion Knights to go, but if this mythical-level material isn’t delivered to by 11:00 tonight, you’ll be the one I’ll question."
Upon hearing this, Tiberus imdiately stiffened up. Although the Lord is usually easygoing and loves to smile, appearing approachable, the territory’s knights hold deep respect for him.
Because when one’s reputation is at its peak, even without external forces, they command respect effortlessly!
Especially since the Lord is surrounded by a group of staunchly loyal knights, potentially not many in number, perhaps 6-7 at most, at least 2-3 at least, with Marshal Orstein and Chief Steward Hilude being utterly loyal to the Lord without any ulterior motives.
This is quite terrifying!
When a monarch has two or three dead loyalists willing to die for them, they can command dozens of knights and hundreds of troops.
When a monarch has several hundred staunch loyalists, their rule is virtually unshakeable.
When a monarch has thousands of loyal troops, their words beco law, with no one daring to question them.
