Although the Green Dragon Aelirea personally attacked the north, the Hesse Castle defensive line was the most solid, with countless forest monsters lying dead under the city. Facing the castle’s three-tiered fortifications, only the Green Dragon rampaged to the uppermost. Its massive body destroyed a few towers, and even two Resentnt Crossbow Carriages were burned by its Dragon Breath. Yet, its solitary advance could not affect the northern situation.
The most brutal was the western defense line. Human soldiers were initially besieged by a multitude of monsters, with the Chira personally participating in the siege, persistently using terrifying Chaos Magic and breath to shatter the human soldiers’ lines. Countless soldiers’ morale crumbled, fleeing the defense line in panic.
As both sides fought fiercely into the night, the Rong’en Priest in charge of the west line had no choice but to repeatedly send ssengers to plead for help from Su Li: "Lord, if reinforcents are not sent to the west line, it will not hold!"
