The red dragon Drake is the ruler of the Dusk Mountain Range, with his lair deep within a massive volcanic crater. The nest is piled high with treasures of gold and silver and spoils left by conquered races. Drake's breath carries a strong scent of fire and sulfur, and every roar he unleashes can trigger minor volcanic eruptions.
The powerful presence of the red dragon has altered the terrain at the mountain's base, forming a unique lava plain. Though these areas are barren, they attract many heat-resistant magical creatures.
On the other hand, abundant mineral resources such as gold, diamonds, and sulfur lie near Drake's lair, but these resources are nearly impossible for ordinary humans to mine, as they are heavily guarded by Drake's minions and magic traps.
In villages near the Dusk Mountain Range, Drake is regarded as a being half-god, half-beast. Villagers both revere and fear him, offering tribute annually in hopes of gaining his protection.
Yet recently, this mighty giant dragon was provoked by a human knight, inciting his fury. His thunderous roars envelop the entire Dusk Mountain Range, causing even the magical beasts and villages at the mountain's base to tremble in fear at the deafening sound.
As Su Li and the entourage flew into the Dusk Mountain Range, they saw the imnse figure of Drake. As a red dragon, his blood-red form nearly obscured the distant peaks and sky.
His gigantic size is suffocating, stretching over 40 ters from head to tail, almost like a thick, small mountain, with a wingspan of over 50 ters. When his wings are spread, they overshadow a volcano, casting a massive shadow over the entire mountain range, effectively blocking out the sun.
Seeing him, Su Li understood why green dragons are considered slender and ill-suited for close combat, and why red dragons are described as the most ferocious and massive of the dragon race.
His fierce head resembles a small fortress, with eyes flickering with scarlet flas, like two burning fires. Large nostrils breathe out a thick, pungent sulfur sll. Fangs half a ter long and sharp as knives can shred anything that stands in his way.
At this mont, he was launching a ferocious attack on a human clad in black plate armor on the ground. His tail, over 20 ters long and thicker than the trunk of the Holy Purple Vine Tree, ended with a row of sharp barbs, each swing stirring up a strong wind, clearing an entire area!
As his tail struck down, a mountain peak over forty ters tall was forcibly smashed and collapsed, the peak over twenty ters shattered under the dragon's tail sweep, sending rocks scattering. Although Su Li and the entourage were thousands of ters away, small fragnts still flew past their faces.
A half-elf failed to dodge, his head directly injured, spraying blood in all directions.
Su Li took a deep breath, turning to ask Hilude, "Back then... did Aeliria give off such a powerful sense of oppression?"
