Byron, reminded by her, also realized that this large-scale promotion might not be explained solely by the increased Source Tide activity.
After thinking for a while, he found only one explanation.
Just like this world itself supports Byron as a proxy to cleanse the "traitors," the other side silently supports all resistance against foreign foes.
Throughout the entire Silver Era, no matter how many wars were fought, most of the ti they were internal conflicts, with only professions like [Night Watch] and [Lamplighter] clearing out evil spirits and bizarre anomalies, the promotion speed was noticeably faster than that of the normal Transcendents.
Until Byron rose to power, humanity for the first ti faced a series of kin invasions in the form of national wars, and having triumphed, this phenonon gradually beca apparent.
To ask whether heroes create the tis, or the tis create heroes?
Byron’s answer is, at least at this mont, any human who can resist the invaders will find the possibility of becoming a Fourth Order Hero, or even a Fifth Order Legend, much greater than during peaceful tis.
As long as they survive till the end, they are bound to beco heroes.
Coupled with the internal factor of sugar cane paper spreading knowledge, in the next few years there’s bound to be a surge in both the quantity and quality of Transcendents.
A group of core mbers who’ve fought alongside Byron from the lonely days of a single pirate ship to now, all promoted, at least no longer needing to worry about falling behind his pace, being cast out from the ranks of battle.
The stronger humanity’s overall strength, the bigger the hope of surviving the Great Flood.
For them, this is good news no matter how you look at it.

The fervent cheers made the collective unconscious sea and Law Network boil once more.
Byron indeed does not have a [Crown] yet, not fitting the title of Emperor.
At least he still lacks the Iron Anchor Bay Crown from his father-in-law [Whale Hunter], and the [Pirate Code] sent to the Eastern Continent.
But the title can be proclaid in advance.
In the world, there were originally no titles, nor kingly titles, but when enough people chant, they naturally exist.
What is called the "Mandate of Heaven" is to a certain extent the people’s will, representing a very strong transformation trend within a collective society.
If all civilians think soone should be King, is he not then one?
If all think soone should be Emperor, is he not one then?
As long as Byron can lead the Bayfolk and humanity to win again and again like this ti, it shouldn’t take long for his title to beco:
