[Secret Art: Siege Hamr]

Byron’s Divinity, Beastliness, and Human Nature advanced side by side. This was equivalent to three Third Order beings coordinating an attack simultaneously, unquestionably reaching the destructive power of a Fourth-Order Heroic level.

The next mont, Yengade’s entire upper body was shattered by the great spear, instantly exploding into fragnts everywhere.

Even the Goddess was caught off guard and swept away by the overwhelming current.

The rampaging, sharp current turned into a raging dragon that continued to surge forward, deeply scraping off a layer of the deck.

Yengade was besieged by Byron, Violet, and the Goddess Freya, who was of the sa rank. With a calculated surprise attack, Yengade was blown to pieces on the spot.

Byron’s Secret Sword Technique not only tore apart Yengade’s body but also completely destroyed various pieces of equipnt. Only four items were fortunate enough to be thrown high into the air: the "Spiral City Manual," the [Divine Mask of the World Serpent], the Key Ring corresponding to the First Mate’s authority, and the last item... a tainted one-third of the "Faustian Contract."

Ignoring the other items and after capturing Yengade’s soul, Byron imdiately leaped with all his might, lunging towards the Key Ring.

After dispatching Yengade, he inherited the opponent’s Mysticism authority thanks to his traits’ abilities.

Once he successfully obtained the First Mate’s authority and had Violet, the legitimate sole successor of the Harrold Family, wear the Key Ring, they could activate a Deep Sea Leap. This would transport the [Legendary Warship: Dragonhead Ship] back to Iron Anchor Bay, thousands of miles away.

With Dagon and his captain’s ring out of reach, they might be able to regain control of the warship, just as its previous usurpers had done.

This was the most important foundation and strategic deterrent for a mariti superpower. It was similar to how the Church used various levels of Power Rings to rule the Old Continent Nations. As long as the Pope’s [Fisher’s Ring of Authority] was absent, the local Archbishops’ [Bishop’s Authority Ring] would naturally hold sway.

"Stop right there!"

Just then, a thunderous roar exploded beside Byron’s ear, followed by a foul, fishy wind.

The newcor didn’t prioritize attacking Byron but instead lunged for the crucial artifacts in the air. Surprisingly, this individual arrived first, snatching the "Spiral City Manual," which Dagon considered the most important bridge for communication with the Slumbering God.

Byron followed closely, activating [Wind Elental Hand] to grab hold of the Key Ring.

He was then shocked to discover that the attacker was none other than Dagon, the Fifth-Order Pseudo-God, who should have still been fighting the Pirate King!

Where’s the Ocean Throne?!

But he was only taken aback for a mont before he understood. The past was the past, the present is the present; the situation has changed. During a losing battle, the Pirate King would, of course, unite all forces that could be united, whether it was planned or not. Now that the Deep Sea Clan’s defeat was apparent, it was clearly ti for the various participating factions to reap the spoils of war based on their own abilities. How could the Ocean Throne have been so kind as to restrain Dagon, allowing the "York Family" and the [Sailboat Collector] a chance to calmly claim the Legendary Warship? If any of them wanted the warship, they would have to destroy the Fifth-Order Pseudo-God Dagon themselves.

Thinking about it more cynically, one of the Dragonhead Ship’s legendary abilities was [Dominating Pirate Ships], the nesis of all pirates. As a Pirate King aspiring to supre authority, how could Barbarossa allow others to obtain such a potent weapon specifically targeting him? He would rather the "York Family," the [Sailboat Collector], and the Deep Dive Church all destroy each other. Then he could smoothly claim the warship—already promised to him—and use it to beco the king of all pirates!

Barbarossa Hailiding, truly a ruthless leader who would betray anyone for power in an instant. So different from his immature younger brother, obsessed with keeping his hair in place.

Byron reached out again and obtained another Deity Mask: [World Serpent: Yengade].

The contaminated, simplified wishing machine, the "Faustian Contract," fell into Dagon’s hands.

After landing, Byron shot Goddess Freya, who had just struggled up from the ground, a aningful glance, then conjured a whirlwind and turned to flee.

If his opponent were Fourth Order, he might have put up a fight. But against a Pseudo-God like Dagon, who had lived for several hundred years, Byron had no intention of engaging whatsoever.

But while Byron did not wish to fight, Dagon had no intention of letting him go.

"Sea Hunter! Leave your life behind!"

A torrential divine light, like a mountain-collapsing tsunami, blasted through the air. Dagon, wielding his war axe, shot towards him, his face a mixture of shock, fury, and an undeniable hint of regret.

Just as Yengade had once said to him: "Dagon, you will regret it!"

Even now, he would have replied: "Yengade, I am the Archbishop."

But he truly regretted not heeding Yengade’s advice to eradicate this Bayfolk Sea Hunter in his cradle. It was fair to say that without Byron’s unexpected interference, they would have been the ultimate victors in today’s battle. They wouldn’t have suffered such a crushing defeat, losing most of the Church’s effective forces in a single battle. Nor would they have lost the masks of the Divine King and Goddess Queen, suffered the loss of the Twins of Light and Darkness and Yengade, had the First Mate’s Signet Ring stolen, and his own last daughter had almost fallen prey to Byron’s vicious hands just monts ago. Especially considering the "divine miracle" the Sea Hunter had just invoked.
