Under the fortress’s cannon fire, they struck again and again on the inclined thick walls, with flashes of explosion, rocks, and sand crashing down.
"Support, request reinforcents!"
No need for [Bearkin] Ulysses to speak, the garrison commander at the military port imdiately used his authority to send a call for help to the rear.
However, they were not optimistic about the results of the request for reinforcents themselves.
Troops stationed on other islands of the Faroe Islands should co, those legitimate forces yet to complete assembly should co too, but other lords on the Eternal Night Peninsula might not actively respond.

[Bearkin] Ulysses is well aware that the dostic situation is becoming increasingly fractured due to [War Witch] Violet, who has strong claim rights, and [Wild Hunt King] Byron. The Protestant Doctrine, suppressed two years ago, is gaining prominence again.
Lately, so have even openly declared that since the Kalmar Triad can form an alliance, why can’t the Five Bay States?
With the Union lacking a legitimate heir from the [Blue Dragon King], why not unite the Five States and collectively elect a suitable King?
The unspoken aning is not accepting [Bearkin] as their new King.
The "Unification Factions" are rising rapidly, all potential opponents of [Bearkin], possibly even mortal enemies in the next throne war.
Additionally, with the [Evernight Queen] taking away one of the Kingdom’s Guardians, the lords lost much of their upper-level suppression.
Relying on them to actively co to the rescue is simply unrealistic.
Thinking of this, a trace of coldness flashed in his eyes:
