The mask was abruptly lifted, revealing beneath it a monstrous mouthpart unfurling like petals.
Circled by sharp teeth, a passage of flesh led straight to the stomach, capable of quickly grinding anything swallowed into mince.
Visible from one glance down into the stomach, "glub glub" bubbles of green foam erged, mingled with a pungent, suffocating acidic rot.
Clearly, the Church Faction’s upper echelons were no longer themselves.
Most had been quietly parasitized by the worms of the [Worm Cathedral], transford into Lower Order Vassal [Gluttonous Worms].
