Gong Sirui hugged her waist and kissed her on the cheek. “My parents are eager to et their daughter-in-law, so they ca early.”

“Will your parents like ? Should I prepare any gifts for our first eting? What if they don’t get a good impression of ?”
Gong Sirui was speechless, “You really don’t need to be nervous. They like you a lot and have wanted to et you for quite so ti. But you always refused. See, you just agreed to have dinner last night, and they flew in overnight.”
Previously, his parents were in Saudi Arabia, not in Huaxia.

Just then, Gong Sirui’s phone rang.
He glanced at the caller ID and directly put it on speaker.
“Mom.”
“Sirui, where are you? Is Yuexian really coming to dinner? Don’t tease .”
Gong Sirui’s mom, although an Arabian, had lived in Huaxia for a long ti and spoke fluent Mandarin, albeit with a slight accent.
Gong Sirui chuckled, “Mom, you’ve asked several tis already. Yuexian is really coming to dinner. Where are you and Dad?”
“We’ll be at the school gate in ten minutes.”

Gong Sirui smiled and patted Yan Yuexian’s head, his eyes full of laughter.

“Mom, we’re already up; we’ll change our clothes and head out.”
“What?!” The voice on the phone was startled, rising a bit, “You’re already up? Son, what did you do to the young lady? Yuexian is still young; you…”
“Mom, what are you thinking? She lives next door.”
Gong Sirui was speechless, though he did kind of wish for it, but the girl was unwilling.
Yan Yuexian’s face went completely red. What kind of misunderstanding was this? How did it turn to that topic?
“Really nothing?” Mrs. Gong asked, sounding relieved yet disappointed.
Well, if sothing happened earlier, it would be fine, too; they might have grandchildren sooner.
“Mom, if there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now. We’ll be heading down shortly.”
“Alright, you all co out then; Dad and I are almost there…” At that point, there was so noise on the phone, a bit muffled, followed by Mrs. Gong’s raised voice, “Gong Sirui, tell Yan Yuexian not to co over. I will not agree to let her step into the Gong Family!”
