Xia Shi was so angry she wanted to walk out right then!
But Zhai En let out a muffled groan, looking very much in pain, and she couldn’t bring herself to leave.

The sudden encounter left Xia Shi montarily stunned, while Qiao Yuchu slowly narrowed her eyes.
"Zhong Shixia, what are you doing here!"
Zhong Shixia glanced at the thermal container in her hand, her heart aching.
Who was she visiting? Was it Zhai En?
The man had been adamant about having nothing to do with Qiao Yuchu last night, yet here she was, visiting him this morning.

When she saw the two beds pushed together, her breathing hitched, a flash of hatred swept through her eyes.
But she quickly returned to normal.
Zhai En was already done with his examination, waiting for Xia Shi to bring him breakfast.
Hearing the door open, he thought Xia Shi had returned and looked up excitedly.
Seeing who it was, his face instantly darkened, "What are you doing here?"
Qiao Yuchu lifted the thermal container in her hand, smiling, "Zhai En, I ca to check on you, how did you get so badly injured?"
"How did you know I was in the hospital?" Zhai En’s voice turned cold, looking nervously toward the door.
