Xia Weibao was rolling around with the quilt when she heard the door open and turned to see Lu Hualiang coming in.
Instantly, her face lit up with a big smile.
"Where are my clothes?"
It’s already noon; if she doesn’t go back now, she might really get caught in the act.
Lu Hualiang handed her clothes over without avoiding her gaze and sat at the bedside, looking at her in a very gentlemanly manner.

"I need to change clothes."

Xia Weibao lifted a foot, her delicate toes aid at him, "Turn around."
The implication was clear: turn around, or get kicked off the bed—pick one.

Xia Weibao flipped the quilt and covered his head with it, then quickly changed clothes.
"Image is sothing you show to others."
As for him? Well, whether she wanted to keep up appearances depended on her mood.
Once dressed, Xia Weibao climbed out the window.
Even though it was broad daylight, sneaking out through the window was a bit of a pointless exercise, but she still felt the need to make an effort.
As she left the yard and passed by the Peach Forest, she saw Xia Chuyan from afar, carrying a food box towards the Yanxia Group courtyard.
Her Majesty the Empress felt a bit guilty and quickly hid in the Peach Forest.

When Xia Chuyan arrived at the Yanxia Group courtyard, she found that Neil was gone.
