Planet Master 113- Settling Down

Leif, Ghylea and Frie were holding down the progress of planet assimilation. For Dian, it would be easier if there were multiple entities to hold it down while he could do another thing.

He and Arowana on the other hand were processing the migration of the rfolk. Their numbers were quite a lot so settling down on the sea near the archipelago beca the first priority.

Dian realized that the planet size for nurous races was quite small so he planned to expand it.

“Have you decided where in the sea near the archipelago your race will settle down?” Dian asked Arowana.

Before that, he needed to ask one thing.

“From what I can see, the sea area around the archipelago on your planet is the most suitable place for my rfolk. There are marine creatures as well as good sunlight. I believe that they can live their life peacefully there.” Arowana said while looking through the system panel.

Dian nodded. He may not fully understand the necessary need for the rfolk but he was sure that they needed a good place as ho.

That was why he could only let the one who knew the rfolk best to decide their new ho.

Then he spent a thousand energy points to increase the size of his planet.

While he input the command, he also needed to regulate things at a fast speed. Readjusting the satellites’ orbit, the planet’s orbit as well as the distance between the Cerulean Planet to the Red Moon.

Dian had to do it while also ensuring that the change he brought did not affect the races on the planet.

“Huh. Finally done all that complicated stuff.” Dian sighed in relief when he had done his task as a Planet Master.

Then he noticed that all the rfolk had evacuated from their ho planet. Now it was ti to let the assimilation process go as intended.

“Leif, Ghylea and Frie, let go now!” Dian ordered.

The three knew that it was ti for them to let go and the assimilation process was ongoing. It was an interplanetary assimilation. The Rift sent the matter from the other planet to the Cerulean Planet.

Dian looked at the size of the planet and realized that it had grown.

“How’s the situation?” Chikara asked.

“Under control, for now.” Dian said as he finished adjusting everything on the Cerulean Planet and beyond.

“Now that I have finished with my business, it is ti for introduction.” Dian slightly smiled at this.

“Again, huh.” Leif laughed heartily, patting his stomach while doing that.

“Should I be first?” Ghylea tilted his head as his undead fire flared.

“But I want to know about you first.” Arowana looked at Dian and said it as a matter of fact.

The other four as if in agreent, let Arowana do that since it would not affect this session too much.

“I an, it’s fine if you ask.” Dian said before he introduced himself.

“I am called Dian. But for my race, I am known as Father God Dian. Others under are also managing their races and helping with the Planet Master tasks.”

Arowana nodded, imprinting the information into his mind. Then he looked at the others Dian ntioned. He realized that he did not face the other races during the Star Battle.

“If you are wondering why our races are not participating, it is because we are trying to maintain a balance with the flora and fauna of the planet which have grown stronger.” Chikara said instead of others.

Arowana felt like it was an excuse and naturally did not take her words at face value.

“Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I am Chikara. My race calls the tamorphic God.” Chikara added.

Arowana knew that Chikara’s race was the Gling. He could at least understand why she was defeated when the humans used the undead elent to battle. At least his resistance was comndable.

“I am Leif. My race calls the Artisan God. Guess they really liked their craftsmanship.” Leif spoke next.

Arowana nodded in understanding. He had seen the dwarves modify the weapon on the steelclad ships called a railgun. It was formidable enough that the rfolk transcendents had to be careful not to get hit.

Furthermore, he had seen the power of the aircraft carriers that sent the aircraft to assist his enemy’s troops.

“Guess it is my turn now.” Ghylea spoke with his deep voice.

Arowana turned his head slightly to face Ghylea.

“I am Ghylea. My race calls the Death Sovereign. Although I am not really governing the dead, but the undead.” Ghylea said and added sothing that he had thought for a long ti.

Arowana felt a bit afraid to face Ghylea since his race was the undead.

Dian noticed the discomfort that Arowana had shown in a split second but he remained silent and let the introduction session continue. He needed to make sure that no one should unreasonably hate any race.

To Dian, even the undead were a race that could be developed. The fact that most Planet Masters disliked or even hated them was sothing he did not completely understand.

That could be addressed later.

“I am Frie. Currently, my race calls the Life Sovereign. The Sacred Tree of my race caused the transformation on the entire planet, no, actually, it helped with the transformation.” Frie said while correcting herself.

Arowana realized that what she had said was true. He could see the transcendent energy saturated in the atmosphere on the Cerulean Planet as well as the transcendents who used Ether as their transcendent energy source.

“Well, it is my turn now.” Arowana opened his mouth and was careful in what he said.

“I am Arowana. The rfolk called the Sea God because the entire planet is subrged in water and I am making it suitable for to manage.”

Now, all of them had so information about each other.

“Well, let’s get to work, shall we?” Dian then gave a task to Arowana to see where he was better suited.

“What do you want to do?” Arowana asked.

“Do a monitoring of the ocean of the planet. Frie will watch over the land and the air while you watch over the sea and the rfolk. Is this acceptable?” Dian offered.

Arowana had a mont of clarity. He could watch over the sea along with his race but he needed to work together with Frie since Dian ntioned her.

“It is alright.” Arowana replied.

Then the first task Arowana had to do was underway, supervised by Dian.

“Are you done?” Dian asked after seeing the work that Arowana had done.

“He is the expert on ocean territory.” Frie said as a matter of fact.

“That’s quite a high evaluation.” Dian had to be honest on this.

He had seen how Arowana managed the marine creatures and the sea beasts while also looking after his race in the sea so Dian knew just how valuable an entity Arowana was.

He was as indispensable as any of his subordinates.

“Just how far your civilization has progressed?” Arowana had sothing to ask since he knew that the humans had achieved sothing big with their Technology Tree.

“You could say that my race has reached the end of the T2 Technology Tree. They are currently expanding it so that they can reach T3 when the ti is right.” Dian replied with a proud smile.

Arowana saw that and knew that it was really sothing to be proud of.

He also realized that Dian had just recently risen to the Second Rank Planet Master, which ant that Dian was still new to this.

“Really!? That’s quite an achievent you have.” Arowana said honestly.

From what he had seen, Dian was actually wielding both Technology and Transcendent Tree to develop his civilization. That was sothing rare since the advancent condition beca stricter.

He just hoped that Dian could manage to get through and beco a higher-ranked planet master.

“Did you know…” Chikara suddenly spoke.

Dian saw and heard Chikara turn to her and was surprised to see a pleased expression on her face. Worse, he felt that she wanted to tell Arowana sothing crucial which Dian wanted to prevent for the mont.

“Please…” Dian’s words were cut off by Chikara’s.

“…that we have t one of the Ten Venerables!”

Dian put a hand in front of his face and shut his mouth. It was too late to pull the topic back, so he might as well discuss it.

“What!? Is that true!?” Arowana looked at Chikara in disbelief before looking at Dian. He wanted to hear more of it.

Every Planet Master idolized and yearned to reach the height of the Ten Venerables and Arowana was one of them.

“That’s true. Well, it is actually Her Excellency Tritis who ca to us!” Chikara said.

“While it is true, she was looking for Dian.” Frie added so that Arowana did not misunderstand.

“What are you discussing with her?”

“It is like this. She wanted the humans to grow stronger and for Dian to reach a higher rank Planet Master so that he could participate in dealing with Outer Being.” Chikara explained.

“What she was saying is true. But the topic was more of a cooperation between and Her Majesty Tritis.” Dian clarified.

“So the rumor is true.” Arowana scratched his cheek with his finger, finding that a certain rumor was true.

“The problem is that we have never seen an Outer Being ourselves so we don’t know their strengths, preferences, or weaknesses. The only thing I can do as a Planet Master is to push my Core Race forward so that when the threat from the Outer Being cos for us, we are prepared for it.” Dian said while looking at Arowana before shifting his gaze and looking at the other four.

“That’s right. None of us ever perceives the Outer Being. Let’s just hope that our eting with them is distant.” Leif said while nodding his head.

He, for one, did not wish to et them sooner; he’d rather et them when they were weaker than his groups.

“Why are you so pessimistic? I believe that we can face any challenge that cos our way!” Chikara said.

“Hmm, I don’t know where your optimistic attitude cos from but it is a good thing to look at the overall gains.” Dian comnted.

“What do you an? You thought that I was just a hopeless optimist, is that it!?” Chikara glared at Dian and protested.

“No. Of course not. But we need to look at every side of the event, not just the good or the bad, before deciding whether it is more profitable to us or not.” Dian said with a calm tone.

“Then what about the developnt of the civilization down there? Will that be good or bad?” Frie asked.

“There are always pros and cons in every situation. Knowing that is already half a step to winning and taking appropriate asures is the other step. At least that is what I have understood so far.” Dian said.

But then soone asked the most important question.

It ca from Ghylea.

“Why did you spare him?”

Just like how Dian spared those who fought against him in the lower and current rank Star Battle, he also spared Arowana too.

Actually, this question was asked so that Arowana could understand that the tis had changed.

“It is rare for Ghylea to ask so I will answer that. This is also related to you…” Dian looked at Ghylea before shifting his gaze to Arowana.

“In summary, we are all here trying to survive along with the planet and the civilization that forms on it. I want to try to be better, not completely tied to the system’s rules that bind us in shackles.” Dian said while looking around and closing his eyes.

Dian perceived the rules and regulations of the Planet Master System faintly, but they were there and bound him to them.

The others also had the look of helplessness. They were also the victim of the Planet Master System but since the birth of their existence, what they wanted was to develop their own planet, develop even the civilization on it so that they could even spread their influence from their initial ho planet to the other planets, ultimately covering the entire universe.

That drive was what caused them to willingly be bound and participate in the Star Battle.

But there were cases where they stayed at their current rank for various reason. The exception was talked about but Dian did not know whether it was due to the difficulty of developing the civilization or sothing else.

“Good for you. You get to move forward with your race.” Arowana said after he had calculated the entire weight of the Planet Master in front of him as well as the planet in possession.

“That’s not necessarily true. To , they are still behind. Although, their developnt has reached the maximum for further advancent. All that’s left is to enlarge their capability.” Dian said before he added.

“Well, how about I introduce you to my planet as well as the races that live on it?”

Arowana heard that and beca interested. After all, Dian’s race could have developed that far and it must be sothing worth learning. That was why…

“I am on it!”

Arowana accepted the offer.

Then Dian brought Arowana around the globe, seeing the satellites first, since it was an achievent of the civilization.

“What is that?” Arowana asked. He referred not to the satellites but to sothing large orbiting the Cerulean Planet.

Dian slightly smiled as he answered.

“It is the International Space Station. Developed by the entire civilization, it is the first step toward the starry sky.”

Arowana could not glance away from the sight. The station had people in it which did their own duty and daily activities.

“What are they doing so high from the planet?” Arowana could not help but ask.

“They are looking for the things on the surface of the planet, the celestial bodies around the planet as well as beyond the planet. They gathered data on the world they can reach. There are even unmanned vessels launched to the nearby planet.” Dian explained.

“But they still did not dare to land on the Red Moon which orbited the Cerulean Planet.” Dian said with a slightly sad expression.

I truly hoped that they would take that step. A step where they dare to land on the moon.

It was because most people regarded the Red Moon as an ill on so they did not dare to even send a manned crew there.

“Do you need my race for that?” Arowana asked.

“No. It would cause the budget and the space to be sacrificed for sothing less. I believe those who deal with rocket science know that as well.” Dian shook his head.

The visages of the two were near the space station as they looked at the distant Red Moon.

“What about that Red Moon over there? Do you plan for your race to go there?” Arowana had already seen the capability of the civilization under Dian and felt that there was no presence of any race on the moon, so he asked.

“Plan? Yeah, of course I want to. But so thoughts prevented them from going there. Furthermore, the effect of the Red Moon still persists so the races are considering how to negate it.” Dian sighed as he explained.

“What? From what I have seen, your race has already been capable of sending a manned crew to the moon. So that is the concern.” Arowana said.

“That’s the peak of T2 Technology Tree. They completely control the energy of the planet, controlling it like their own hands and feet.”

After discussing so more things with Arowana, they descended to the nearby city territory, where there was a Controllable Nuclear Fusion Reactor.

“What you are saying is true. You have managed to reach the peak of the T2 Technology Tree.” Arowana saw with his own eyes the very thing that symbolized that.

“It is thanks to the exchange. I just exchanged so of my specialties with another Planet Master and in so years, this is the result.” Dian pointed to a miniature spaceship in the distance.

Arowana could see the spaceship and knew that it had beco the source of inspiration for the civilization. He also realized that the rapid developnt of civilization was due to this.

“Can I see your Star Child?” Arowana asked sothing that he wanted to know.

He had seen several strong transcendents from Dian’s race but could not make sure about this.

It was because the Fog of War covered the important aspect of the units under its effect.

“Oh, are you interested? Very well.” Dian smirked as he finally managed to let out Arowana’s curiosity.

Then both of them shifted to an island where the two transcendents were fighting.

One of them looked like a middle-aged man, while the other was a young man in his twenties. Both of them exchanged moves as a barrier ford around them, preventing the effect of their battle from being let out and affecting the island.

“That is…” Arowana could feel a special sensation when he looked at the young man.

“Yes, he is one of my Star Child.” Dian said as he looked at Tatsumi sparring against Long Wu.

“He is already this strong!” exclaid Arowana.

Both the exquisite technique and the base strength the Star Child had shown were sothing that only the rfolk king could match, yet it manifested in the young man.

“He excels at transcendent-related things so I just need to guide him to be in contact with the transcendent energy and the people who could help him. This is also the result of his hard work.” Dian said while looking at the sparring with anticipation about the future of his Star Child.
