The Planet Master had decided on one thing. If the creatures he saw was satisfactory, he would use the life catalyst on the species as a whole.
So he observed the creature for a bit longer.
The creature was quite innovative for a lifeform as it started to use simple things as a tool. For example, using a branch of a tree to poke at things or a rock to puml and to throw at sothing.
Still, they hid the mont they detected the large creatures on the move. The Planet Master recognized so of the giant creatures. They were often called dinosaur but the Planet Master did not know where this knowledge ca from. Not even the Universe Council nad them as such.
While he did this, he also checked on the current situation with his Library of Consciousness. This was his own Afterlife Model. The function was to gather the Nafs of every living being to co to a certain space.
Nafs was what the Planet Master called an individual regardless of species or race. Upon death, the Nafs would be called to the space of the Library of Consciousness to be placed in a certain position and station.
So far, the Planet Master had gained countless species from the microorganism to the dinosaurs. All of the dead ones were gathered on this space for him to utilize.
The utilization of the Library of Consciousness was to be utilized together with the civilization he was going to create.
-
“I think, I decided to use this on them after all.” The Planet Master decided to use the life catalyst on the monkey creatures, all together. Then he clicked on the life catalyst icon on the window panel and directed it to the monkey group.
The monkey creatures were stunned for a mont. But then they resud their activity.
[The Planet Master has used life catalyst!]
Then the Planet Master looked after the group of monkeys. He wanted to see what evolution was going to occur if he used life catalyst on them. From what he knew about the life catalyst, it was supposed to be used during the verge of a life explosion where all life forms appeared on a large scale.
One hundred thousand years later.
The Planet Master noticed the change in the monkeys. They started to walk on their hind legs more. Their stature was more of the two-legged creatures. Their forelimbs were used to hold tools.
He also noticed that their head had gotten bigger. Their evolution was the fastest the Planet Master had ever seen.
“They will be the foundation of my civilization. I hope this is correct.” The only thing the Planet Master wished for was to be able to see the vast world and the Universe Council was one such place.
Another one hundred thousand years had passed and the monkeys no longer looked like their distant ancestors. They had less fur but they stood on their two legs. Their forelimbs now beca their hands.
The Planet Master was watching the progress of this new creature on his own leisure. He watched as the creatures started to create their own communication thod.
“Is this…what they called language?” The Planet Master realized that the creature had used their language to convey sothing.
The Planet Master beca intrigued and followed to the gatherings of these creatures.
There he discovered that the creatures had gathered the dinosaurs as their helper. It ant that the creatures had learned how to ta them.
The Planet Master nodded in satisfaction seeing this progress. Due to the intentional interference by the Planet Master, no extinction event had occurred but the vitality of the planet was preserved instead.
This was due to the fact that the Planet Master wanted to enlarge the selection of the creatures that would beco the foundation of his civilization on his planet. Now that the decision had been made, the Planet Master decided to preserve things since the vitality of the planet was equally important.
He did not know why but this feeling was quite compelling, driving him to do things he initially did not want to do.
At this mont, a notification could be seen in front of the Planet Master.
[Congratulations for the Planet Master for giving birth to the first civilization]
[The race that ford the first civilization is not recognized by the Universe Council. Do you want to na them?]
A drive appeared at this mont and the Planet Master willed it.
[Na your new race:]
The Planet Master already had an answer for that.
[Human]
As far as the Planet Master observed, the Human race was average in everything. They needed the assistance of their tools to achieve sothing but their advantage was that they learned things quite fast.
Learning beca one of the most important things when the Planet Master wanted to create a civilization. That kind of drive was almost irresistible so he decided on this Human race to be the civilization on his planet.
He also wanted to see how far he could go with this race and civilization.
Then the Planet Master was surprised to see additional notification, especially since it ca from the Universe Council.
‘What is the Universe Council doing anyway?’ the Planet Master only knew a bit about Universe Council.
It was said that the Universe Council was the overlord of the universe and they created Planet Masters to achieve certain goals. Anyway, that was all the information he could gather at the mont.
The new notification looked like this:
[As the Planet Master has reached the minimum requirent, the Planet Master is permitted to enter Star Battle!]
“Damn, the Star Battle that everyone is talking about is here. Looks like even I cannot avoid this one.” The Planet Master was surprised to see the notification but not overly so. He initially thought that he could postpone this one.
But from the looks of it, the matter could not be delayed at all.
So ti passed on the planet while the Planet Master checked on the new notification. The Human race ford tribes for their own group. At this mont, they were doing the unification of the tribes.
As of the mont, there were three large tribes that managed to conquer the other smaller tribes.
They were the Kudungga Tribe, Qiang Tribe, and Osas Tribe.
They had been in a fierce struggle to decide who among them would conquer the other. The problem was that they were all equal in overall strength so it beca a stalemate.
Therefore, they decided to battle it out as it was the only way to be sure of the winner of the conquest. They gathered all the available manpower and t in the valley where three small rivers combined into one giant river.
When the Planet Master saw the scene, the three tribes had already prepared to do their showdown there.
Kudungga, the leader of the Kudungga Tribe spoke, “Today is the decisive day. The winner will be the one who can unify all of us!”
Behind him, a large number of tribe mbers atop the large dinosaurs were gathering. Their expression was fierce.
It was the sa expression for the other two tribes but the difference was that the Qiang tribe was riding on flying pterosaurs in the sky while the Osas tribe had a small tool so that they could launch projectiles from their tool.
The Planet Master felt that it would be a pity if such forces were to engage in a large-scale battle only for supremacy. They might as well used their forces to do good deeds like for example participating in the Star Battle.
What was Star Battle? It was a battle among Planet Master. It required the Planet Master to had a civilization to work. The most simple Star Battle was a 1vs1 battle. This was the mode that the Planet Master was pulled in.
At the mont, the Planet Master had to convince the three tribes to work together against another civilization. So that was exactly what he did.
‘If they ask my identity, what will I tell them?’ regarding identity, even the being himself did not know who he was. Until now, it had pondered this question nurous tis but he did not find an answer yet.
‘Might as well announce my presence to them.’
Then the cloud was stirring. The three leaders from the three tribes stopped what they were doing and looked up to the sky. The wind blew and the cloud was moving in a certain direction that the three tribes had never thought possible.
‘How should I start? Oh, I can try this one…’
Then a figure appeared ford by the cloud. The figure was imposing as it stood tall against the three tribes gathering.
“There will be a battle in which you of all will participate. In around ten violet sun’s rise, you will face another race from another planet.”
Even though the Planet Master was saying this calmly, to the people down there, it sounded like countless thunder rang out all at once. It was deafening to the point that they were almost unable to discern the words that had been spoken.
“It’s a god! It’s a god!” many of the tribesn were astonished to the point where they could only recognize the thing in front of them as the direct manifestation of god.
“A Father God! Father God! Is what you’re saying true?” Kududngga asked.
“It would be better if you believe . Doing sothing otherwise will result in your tribes' extinction. Do you truly want that result?”
“No, of course not.”
“Rember, ten violet sun rises later. That is the ti for the battle.”
Then the cloud that ford the figure of the the Father God dispersed and returned to the sky. The three tribes decided to cease and made a truce among the three of them. Because they all had experienced it together, they spread the words of the existence called Father God to their own family.
Because the Planet Master interfered, the human race gained a certain belief in the existence of Father god. And they also had to prepare for the incoming attack from another ‘tribe’ they supposed.
So they united all three tribes and the gathering was what called the Thebes.
To prepare against the invader, they tad the more dangerous but larger carnivorous dinosaur as the one who would spearhead the offensive. The three tribes also jointly did things together, putting aside their grievances.
Soon, the word could be heard among them that they did this battle for the Father God Dian.
The Planet Master had prepared for his first Star Battle with the other planet master. When he heard this, he felt that it was fine for him to shoulder the expectations of the human race.
“Dian. Should I take it as my na?” the Planet Master had never thought about its identity before as he did not care. But now that he beca sothing more, he felt that he should at least have an identity to go with.
After so ti, he nodded. Now his form was that of the human male with a youthful look on his face. His dark eyes were like an abyss and his black hair was flowing on his head.
“From this mont on, I am Dian. A Planet Master!”
-
“Co on, your stab is kind of weak. Put more strength into it!” one of the commanders from the Qiang tribe was training the overall troop for the supposed eventuality.
The trainee then put more strength into his grip and strengthened his footing. With the sharpened stone spear, he managed to do a stab once.
“Beautifully done! Next…”
In another place, another group was practicing their flight with the pterosaurs. They had to do it the hard way since the supposed invader would be the combined forces of the three tribes.
They learned how to attack using the advantage of the flying beast together with the rider. It was not easy but they started to get the gist of it.
And the last group was practicing their long-range attack. It had been spread orally but long-range attack was the thod in which the practitioner did not need to close the distance between them and the opponents.
They trained for nine rising sun before they finally let the n rest for a full day to prepare them for the battle. As the fateful day approached, Dian was nervous. He had never participated in a Star Battle so he did not know exactly what to do other than preparing for the worst.
[Star Battle for the first rank Planet Master is comncing!]
[There will be a rift that connects between the planets of the two battling Planet Masters during the Star Battle on the first and second rank Planet Master]
[The win condition is to exterminate the created civilization of the opponent or if the Planet Master of the opposing side surrenders]
[The Universe Council wishes every participating Planet Master luck]
As the notification appeared, Dian could perceive that a small rift had appeared on the southwest of the Thebes, around three hundred kiloters.
He swiftly manifested himself in front of the three representatives of the Thebes. As usual, he used the cloud to have a humanoid figure to let the human know that the mont of invasion had arrived.
“In the southwest, three hundred kiloters is the place where your enemies shall appear.”
With that voice, all the human felt their chest stuffed with excitent. They had explored most of the continent and knew almost everything there was. Now, they could see for themselves what kind of invader that dared to co to their place.
After that, Dian returned back to his own personal space where he could monitor the entire planet. He noticed that sothing had passed through the rift and arrived on his planet.
The being was smaller in height than human. But they appeared to bring themselves sothing like a weapon. Dian recognized the being. According to the latest information he had, they were what the Universe Council classified as a Dwarf race.
“This can be tough on my civilization.” Dian remarked as he furrowed his brows. The dwarf race was the race with quite a good developnt on the technological tree. The best one of the races in the technological tree developnt was naturally the Machina race.
Of course, there were also other developnt trees for the Planet Master to explore but the point was that the Dwarf who had invaded Dian’s planet was more advanced than the human race in the technology tree developnt.
From what Dian could see, the dwarves had brought their latest weapon to the Star Battle. Dian was not sure whether the human race could overco the trial that they were going to receive.
But at this point, all he could do was to watch.
The Thebes coalition forces finally set off with one hundred Rex Riders, two hundred Throwers as well as one hundred Pterosaur Riders. The Rex was a large carnivorous dinosaur that was both intimidating and fierce, the Throwers equipped themselves with throwable stone spears as well as so device that could throw small rocks while the Pterosaur Rider would scout the way.
After more than one hour, the Pterosaur Riders finally noticed the rift from the sky as well as the encampnt of their enemies. But this could also be said to be true for the dwarves as well since they also noticed flying things on the horizon.
“Enemies in sight. Probe them!” the leader of the Pterosaur Riders gave his command. He needed to make sure of the enemies’ capability so that they could deal with whatever the enemies might prepare.
So of the formations broke and flew closer to the encampnt and tried to throw the spear at the dwarves. But the dwarves were using their flintlocks to aim at the incoming Pterosaur Riders. The dwarves shot at the sa ti and the salvo caused one of the riders to fall off from the pterosaur.
Seeing this, the riders threw their hand-held spear and flew off from the range of the dwarves’ shooting range.
“They have long-range attack thods. It is loud when they use it and it looks like the majority of the enemies are using it. We need the Rex Riders for this.” The leader of the Pterosaur Riders concluded and swiftly retreated.
With the current thod the humans had, they could only force themselves to be in a lee battle as the enemies had superior long-range attacks.
“If the Osas tribe mbers see, they will be happy that their thod is not any inferior to the other two tribes.”
After that, the Pterosaur Riders gave this information to the three representatives. One of them was the commander of the Rex Rider. He ca from the Qiang tribe and held a stone axe, riding a dinosaur.
“We can only try this for now. Fortunately, the surrounding forest is still giving us an advantage in terrain.”
The army then marched toward the encampnt of the dwarves while they also did sothing else. They also wanted to use the surrounding beast to make trouble with the invader to distract their long-range weapon.
So they started to create an artificial beast stampede by using certain thods involving the mix of a certain herb and the dung of the Rex.
Surprisingly, this worked well and the humans directed the stampede towards the dwarves' encampnt. The noise and the tremble of the ground were noticed by the sentry of the dwarves. They looked at the front of their encampnt, to the forest, and saw that the trees were moving erratically.
They prepared themselves as this was possibly their enemies coming back for them. Surprisingly, what they discovered was a beast stampede consisting of both small and big beasts.
The problem they faced was the direction in which the stampede headed. It was directly towards their encampnt so they had no choice but to resist this wave of stampede.
They not only used their flintlocks but also threw sothing that exploded upon contact with the ground or the beast.
