Now reading: Chapter 87: Rescuing the Slaves from Planet Vs Aliens: Space User Saves the World, a Fantasy novel by NispedanaSan.

Naia woke up that morning and wondered what to do about those slaves.

Although it was dark, she had seen a lot of them: children, old people, and foreigners. They were probably sold through human trafficking and kidnappings.

Could she really leave them like that? She wasn’t a saint, but that would definitely weigh on her conscience a bit.

In the end, she decided to stay one more day.

She spent the daylight buying more stones and selling a few more, though she purposely chose another sector far away from where she was the previous day.

By the afternoon, her total assets had reached nearly a hundred million danas, which should be able to buy her a huge amount of supplies. Only then was she satisfied.

Last night, before activating the fireworks, she placed one of the local air tags she bought in the airport inside one of the vans the slave owners used. More accurately, she placed it inside the seating.

Therefore, she had known about their hideout since last night. This morning, she studied the satellite map and morised the place. From the sky, it looked like a normal village. However, there was actually a rather large basent facility underneath it.

She hung around the periter for a while, studying how to enter it safely and without alerting other people.

Her space had now expanded to several hectares with an impressive height of 20 ters. She could now see where the concentration of life forces was.

She just had to wait for people to open doors or windows, and she could pretty much appear inside the room. Soon, after getting her disguise on, she entered and walked around, getting closer to where the slaves were, judged by the density of life force.

She then waited outside the large door and even changed to more pitiful attire, which happened to be the attire she was wearing when she arrived. It had already been washed, but so of the bloodstains had already stuck. It was supposedly for rags, but it was quite useful now.

Waiting for the door to open wide enough, she made a little noise at the door to get everyone’s attention, while she herself appeared sowhere at a corner.

She almost stepped on shit.

Urgh.

In fact, had she not lived in the apocalypse, she’d have fainted from the sudden palpable stench that assaulted her nostrils!

Looking out, this warehouse-style basent probably had more than a hundred people cramd in. There was a public bathroom at the other end, but she reckoned it was not enough, and so people ended up being impatient and defecated elsewhere.

They could’ve also been ill, which was quite likely, and couldn’t control their bodies anymore.

Regardless of the reason, she did not want to stay here any longer. She went ahead and did the task.

She wasn’t planning on rescuing them herself—that was too risky and was too much trouble. She was there to help them find a way to call for help.

She took out her signal amplifier—one that worked with satellite signals—a new phone she bought in the airport, and then made a livestreaming account.

The advent of globalization not only created a lingua franca that at least 90% of the world population could understand, it also gave rise to various infrastructures. This included apps that were used globally.

She chose the clickbait title [Human Trafficker Base in Varma Country!] to get as much information as she could, and then used a bit of cryptocurrency from a new account to boost its exposure.

However, to minimize the friction, she removed this province in the exposure setting to delay alerting the people here.

Granted, livestreaming was sowhat niche and might not alert the enemies at all, but it was better safe than sorry.

Even if they had bosses or allies from other cities who saw the video, they’d be too far to imdiately make major moves. At best, they could make calls, but by that ti, hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of people around the world would’ve already watched it.

If those in-charge didn’t want to be caught, they would flee as soon as possible. They wouldn’t bother with these slaves either, because hurting them even more would simply extend their sentences and intensify the manhunt for them.

She placed the coordinates in the video description and set up a tripod. People nearby, listless and soulless, couldn’t help but turn to watch her. The slaves were generally quiet and listless, so any movent was exemplified.

By the ti she placed the cara on the tripod, dozens of eyes were already staring at her.

So weren’t sure what was happening, most didn’t care or had the mind to care. On the other hand, so of the younger ones seed to have an inkling, and their eyes sparkled in turn for the first ti since they had been captured here.

There were also those who had just been captured, still having hope in their eyes. The mont they realized people were staring in a direction, they went over to peek, too, and they flinched when they saw a phone—sothing they hadn’t held since they got captured!

"You—"

"Say hello," she said, panning the cara towards them. "I’m broadcasting around the world. Please tell the cara anything you want to say."

There was silence for a mont until people shot up from their seats and their beds, rushing over to her. So blurted out everything they wanted to say, as if they wouldn’t have a chance.

"I! I! My na is Ugor Lee! I’m from S City! Please! Please! My father’s na is—"

"Smithy White! I’m from Micara Country, York City! My father is Vice Mayor White!"

"! Tanya Santos! I’m also a tourist! My address is—"

Suffering under the barrage of words and spit, Naia’s eyes twitched.

"One by one, one by one! Otherwise, I’ll turn this off!" she yelled. She looked at a relatively big guy at the side. He was one of the relatively younger ones who didn’t seem to have lost all hope.

"You," she said. "You organize things. I’m leaving."

They didn’t want her to leave, but getting their ssage out was the priority. People rushed over and started to send their ssage, and eventually they’d be passing the phone around.

When she passed the phone, there were already nine hundred viewers. She paid quite a bit on the platform to promote it, so it was estimated to have reached thousands by now.

She nodded and was about to head out when her arm was grabbed by two hands. It was one young man and one teenage girl. They both looked haggard and had recent injuries, but their most prominent injuries seed to be old burn scars all over their bodies.

The girl had gone bald, with awkward tufts of hair jutting out in random spots on her head.

"What?"

"Let us co with you!"

"Nono, I’m busy. Handle yourselves. Rescue will co. Find your families then."

"We...no...we don’t have a ho! Our parents are dead, and we’re not even from here. We don’t have relatives here or back ho either."

"Please let us go with you!" the teenage girl said, eyes teary in desperation and fear. "If I stay, I..." She couldn’t even utter the string of lecherous words those n told her earlier today!

"We don’t have anywhere to go. PLEASE—"

Naia sighed and unconsciously thought of taking them. But a mont later, they disappeared.

A beat later, she blinked, looking at the two people in her space with blank and confused looks on their faces.
