The Mountain Demon's remaining eye turned bloodshot. It gave chase, quickly catching up and pouncing on her again, knocking her to the ground.
This ti, it didn't see her as a mate, nor was it trying to satisfy any reproductive instinct. It seed thoroughly enraged. It opened its jaws and lunged for her neck!
Su Nanzhi was horrified and twisted desperately to dodge, but the Mountain Demon's teeth still sank into her shoulder, ripping away a large chunk of flesh.
The excruciating pain that pierced her to the bone drove her to despair. Looking at the fierce and vicious Mountain Demon, she gradually gave up. She no longer had the strength to resist.
