Wig looked around in surprise at everything.

"I thought I had been thrown into the trash bin of the developnt team’s computer."

The surging waves crashed against the walls of the building, turning into countless droplets, one of which landed on Youzi Chef’s face. With a gentle wipe, the droplet transford into a stream of data and disappeared at his fingertips.

As everyone was astonished, a voice sounded beside them.

"This is the Sea God’s subnet that we have shaped with data."

The group turned their heads but saw no one. However, the familiar voice made them imdiately choose to look down.

Sure enough.

The person next to them was Pandora.

"Oh! Oh!" Wig made a face that indicated he understood.

"I see."

Then he reached behind himself and surprisingly pulled out a sword, Tennoshu Zantsu, out of thin air.

The incident where Sword Saint and others encountered a special instance had long been circulating among the player community, and this Cyberspace operation was obviously an extended version of that.

"Good, good. Here, I don’t need to kneel and apologize to Kubo Taito at Jump for infringent, right?"

"After all, being in the trash bin, if there’s trouble, you can just right-click and empty the trash, and it’ll be like it never happened."

This guy often has scatterbrained thoughts, but other players are used to it.

Youzi Chef waved the firewood knife he conjured, "But there isn’t even a person here, who are we fighting, and what are the victory conditions?"

"Find and destroy the data core of the Sea God’s subnet to achieve victory."

Pandora’s tone was as flat and straightforward as an NPC’s.

"Data core?"

Youzi Chef tried to stop a passing NPC, but just like in normal instances, his hand went straight through the other’s body.

"But there are no enemies here, and we don’t even know what the data core looks like."

"This is because we entered here using a hacker IP already connected to the Sea God’s subnet, and it didn’t imdiately trigger the firewall chanism."

"But actually, the hackers from the Voodoo Gang have already detected anomalies. They’re searching for the locations of us anomalous data individuals, and it won’t be long before we see them."

If any hacker entered the Sea God’s subnet alone, they would face the Voodoo Gang’s hacker onslaught, no matter how skilled they were.

But here, it’s not just the players who entered; it’s also part of the system network Lin Miao can currently mobilize. It interweaves and stabilizes with the information of the Sea God’s subnet, having an impact equivalent to a magnitude-ten earthquake in the sea.

"As for the data core."

To the Voodoo Gang, players are anomalous data, but to players, the Voodoo Gang is likewise anomalous data.

It’s just that non-hacker players are not sensitive to data information.

Pandora snapped her fingers, and a strange filter imdiately appeared in the players’ vision.

In the depths of the ocean, there were densely packed blue data threads, and the buildings were red-black, clashing against each other.

Below that blue data ocean, nearly a dozen glowing spheres shone, the deepest of which was almost larger than all the others combined, and the rest were moving towards the players.

"Those are hostile hackers and data cores. Once defeated, the system will instantly overwrite their host programs, completing the victory calculation."

"Mm-hmm, it’s pretty much like Pandora said."

Lucy’s voice sounded inside every player’s head.

Just different from conventional mission logic. Once Lin Miao utilizes this program to infiltrate, the Cyberspace battle almost has no chance of failure.

If all players perish, hostile hackers will surely strip Lin Miao’s system information away, which would trigger the system’s firewall, burning out all hackers’ minds and their hosts.

Of course, doing so would leave Lin Miao with a heap of scrap tal, so it’s best avoided unless absolutely necessary.

Forcibly disconnecting the physical connection could also be a solution, but the problem is that neither the enemy nor Lin Miao knows where the system’s servers are or if they even exist.

Disconnecting the physical servers would likely just kick the players out, not solving the real issue.

At the mont of mutation in the Sea God’s subnet, Brigitte noticed the horrifying changes and disconnected her attacks on the power company’s data fortress.

The originally idle information network had astonishingly been normalized.

"How is this possible! To accomplish such a thing in an instant!"

She couldn’t help but cry out. This thod nearly surpassed her understanding of computation and algorithms, even powerful AI wandering the Old Net couldn’t act this fast; otherwise, why would they bother repairing the ghost towns?

Moreover, Brigitte seed to recognize sothing familiar within these intruding crimson data.

No!

No!

No!

No!

She must have seen it wrong; this thing should never appear here under any circumstances!

The shiver from her soul almost drove her insane.

Almost instinctively, Brigitte thought of running, but quickly dismissed the idea.

If reality were as she feared, she and the Sea God’s subnet would have been wiped out like ants at the mont of the invasion, with no chance of resistance.

Could it be... that thing underground...

No wonder they’re causing trouble for us,

No wonder they attacked from the underground pit outside the tunnel,

New Arica...

This company is truly the lapdog of military technology, throwing out black gloves!

But their use of this thing is incredibly immature.

Brigitte thought briefly and knew that the only way now was to fight to the death, using the power of the Sea God to repel the New Arica agents.

"Clear out these intruders. With the Sea God’s blessing, this is our ho turf, they stand no chance against us."

The other Voodoo Gang hackers nodded.

Though they sensed the changes in the Sea God’s subnet, they were not as experienced as Brigitte and couldn’t discern the mysteries within.

They imdiately followed Brigitte, traversing the ocean of data.
