Unexpectedly, a New Year event was rolled out before the year's end.

No matter which company players join, the system-assigned daily salary is not much higher than that of NPC employees. Inco mainly depends on the total mission completed by their company and their individual contribution ratio. The system calculates and distributes it without going through a second party. In theory, the better one performs, the more they earn. Slacking only earns you the minimum guarantee—you can live and eat well, but it doesn't turn into combat power, and cashing out isn't possible.

There are again golden prosthetics and the newly introduced exoskeletons and robots. The rewards are no less than the previous large battleground prize pools.
For players, these items are far more valuable than luxury cars or cash. They use cars as consumables, too expensive aren't worth it.
Although the duplicate unwanted prosthetics they draw eventually either get traded to other players or sold back to Lin Miao.
Most new prosthetics in the prize pool are technical products from the Kangtao partnership factory. Lin Miao hasn't ventured into hardware tech in the prosthetics market yet, focusing instead on software, firewall design, and partial supply of materials. It's just like Zeta Technology back in the day, with a fifty-fifty revenue share afterward.
Selling them as standard equipnt in the official store suits players well, at least they won't have to use multi-branded prosthetics anymore.
After reading the event content, players feel both happy and annoyed. Happy because they can celebrate the Spring Festival in Night City, annoyed because this ga's New Year event is entirely different from others.

Even though they know many aspects of this ga are odd, closely resembling reality, players still don't believe it's a real world.
