Without caring whether others were willing or not, people were practically chased out, leaving only that man in the coat behind. Then the doors and windows were shut tightly as they turned around to look at the newcor.
Gritting teeth and cursing

Alex's finger jabbed hard at the other's chest. If she hadn't been controlling her emotions, she would have punched this person's face already.

"Alex is already dead! Did you choose this? Li De! What? Is being Huang Ban's dog so damn satisfying that you ca here to show off?"
"You misunderstood, Alex."
Seeing Alex was ready to pull out her gun, Li De raised both hands in a French salute and explained
"Miles betrayed you; I was sold out to Huang Ban by him and nearly died, so I had no choice but to hide for six years."

Alex wanted to say Li De was talking nonsense, but how could an agent not know the character of their superior?
Could Li De have defected?
If this bull could defect to New Arica, she might as well believe that Miles sold New Arica to Huang Ban, bent over and beca Huang Ban Sanlang's plaything on the bed.

Already half-believed, the hand holding Alex's gun had nowhere to rest. The muzzle wavered towards the ceiling for several seconds before finally being lowered
"Alright... you're impressive, so what brings you to now? Wouldn't be that Miles rembered there's still a dog left in Night City and yanked your leash to make you bark at , would it?"
Her words were hardly polite, but Li De knew Alex had suffered a lot over the years, and being one who didn't care about such things, he let her vent.
Li De sat at the bar, poured himself a drink using the glass left by the previous custor
"I thought you already knew."
"Those cyber psychos?"
Alex was half-skeptical. She had privately investigated Horizon Corporation, filling in the content delay gap in the ssage blockade of Dog Town
"But I heard they were military tech and Kangtao people; what did Miles have you find them for?"
Li De shook his head
"Not related to Miles, what you heard are just rumors planted by interested parties. These people are not Kangtao or military tech agents or soldiers."
"Rumors? But...."
Alex intended to challenge, but this was Solomon Lid, the forr ace agent of the Special Intelligence Bureau. He wouldn't make a rash judgnt, and when he spoke, it was with absolute certainty.
"No but, Alex."
Li De didn't finish his last sentence
'Whether they are even human is still unsure'
He had been in that bar for half a year, anyone he saw he wouldn't forget, appearances, speech accents, and behaviors were firmly recorded in his mind. This was the quality of a top agent.
Among them, so had not just died once but would soon reappear in the bar even though their appearances had changed, their interpersonal relationships, implants, and all habits remained unchanged.

Impossible. If so many rogue AIs ca to reality, it wouldn't be just slaughtering a few gangs in Night City; thousands of them might be enough to blow New Arica up.
And what AI acts as crazy as they do?
Kangtao agents?
If I were Kangtao, I'd screw this group of people over first, too shaful.
Li De didn't think Kangtao had any deep hatred with the Cubans, to specifically offend Soviet Petrochemical and Cuba.
Not agents nor AIs; cracking his head, Li De couldn't figure out what they were, but one thing he figured out—they were good people.
No matter where they ca from, what their aims were, or how ridiculous their actions, Li De could see in them a burning heart.
"This ti I ca to you, I discovered sothing and wanted your help."
"You? Asking ?"
Alex trusted Li De's judgnt and didn't ask more; such matters were none of her concern
"And there's sothing you can't handle?"
"Yes."
Li De tapped the table, looking past Alex, seemingly penetrating the bar's walls, seeing beneath the seemingly flat cent floor behind it
Of course, Alex knew what was underneath, and she tensed up
"Little Beidou? They're going after Little Beidou?"
"Not them, it's Hansen."
Lin Miao hadn't disclosed the Little Beidou situation to the players; they only knew there was a dungeon related to military tech underground, but no action was taken, and naturally, Li De wouldn't know.
But Li De had been monitoring Horizon Corporation's movents, and when Lin Miao t Hansen, Li De secretly infiltrated Gemstone Cyan with so high-level stealth departnt players, eavesdropped on their conversation, and found traces in the basent that Gago had no ti to handle.
"I suspect Hansen discovered the Little Beidou Laboratory, unearthed things from it, and is preparing to do sothing very dangerous that might endanger not just Night City but New Arica's safety."
"I need your help, Alex."
"How could it be?"
"Desperate asures for a desperate situation."
