Through the diffuse smoke, Tutu held the RGB rifle and imdiately led the team in a crouched forward rush. Simultaneously, several MT-1 machine gunners on the periter suppressed the Tiger Claw Gang at the second-floor windows. The shields originally used for defense were discarded, their weight reduced for the infantry players equipped with strength-type prosthetics, and the exoskeleton's armor was thickened.
Traditional shoulder aiming and shooting is no longer applicable in 2076. Even without using brain-linked smart weapons, traditional rifles can achieve approximate shooting results through calculations with prosthetic eyes and neural components.
People in the hallway scread, as staying in their rooms didn't ensure safety. Those of the Tiger Claw Gang would storm into the lower floors, forcibly requisition windows as shooting points to obstruct the players' frontal assault downstairs.
They banked on players not daring to fire grenade launchers at residential buildings, hence their reckless boldness.
The gang's strategy seed effective. With the skyscraper's large footprint, nurous rooms, and many gang mbers, even with seven to eight MT-1s covering the front, multiple windows still suppressed Tutu's squad downstairs.
As more Tiger Claw Gang mbers were drawn to the frontal battlefield firepower, another team was sneaking in from the basent.
The underground shop people also fled due to the intense gunfight outside, each store locked tight, fearing collateral damage.

A masked boy, around fourteen or fifteen, walked ahead to lead the fifth squad, led by Revolver Quack.

Hiding behind a flower bed, Tutu heard the intense gunfire from the third floor, but with firepower greatly diminished towards them, directly gestured for others to pull smoke grenades from their waists and throw them toward the doorway upstairs.
The Tiger Claw Gang at the door failed to see what it was, imdiately panicking and scattered crying
"Grenade!"
However, the expected explosion didn't occur; instead, a thick white fog enveloped the entire doorway.
