Bai Kou had complete control over releasing her ntal power and fully displaying her ntal World to others. Xu Huo guessed that she had moved beyond needing props as interdiaries, or perhaps props played a very minimal role.

The "Constraining Star Sphere" she had given him was exactly that kind of interdiary prop. Even after his Super Evolution, Xu Huo still couldn't transform his ntal power into a tangible offensive force. Using a prop as an interdiary could only create a very small area for manifesting his ntal World. The only two tis he had expanded that range were when he used that hospital, which had beco a Random Dungeon.

He still hadn't grasped how to use his ntal power to influence others, but the "Murmuring Sphere" was also a ntal attack prop. Perhaps it could provide a breakthrough.

Eight minutes had passed. Yuan Yao was already preparing to stab his own thigh with a knife when the Painting Woman quickly knocked him unconscious, tied him up, and tossed him into a corner. anwhile, Sima Xiao Er was lying on the ground, imitating a pig’s grunts.

After multiple failed attempts to release his ntal power externally, Xu Huo hesitated for only a mont before walking over to the "Murmuring Sphere," deliberately exposing himself to the black smoke.

Now the murmurs he heard were noticeably clearer. They ntioned words like "treatnt" and "dicine." The black smoke in his vision drifted for a while before suddenly twisting like a living snake and plunging directly into his eyes!

He instinctively closed his eyes to block it, and when he opened them again, a blinding light flashed before him. Squinting to adjust, he realized he was back in the hospital.

The brightly lit treatnt room still had that table, covered with playing cards, dice, chips, and other items. A man in a white lab coat sat behind the desk, smiling at him. "You did very well, separating your brother personality in such a short ti."

His low field of vision rotated to the right, and Xu Huo saw a younger version of himself. On the child's chest, a rotating black fragnt spun. As it turned, its area expanded, gradually covering his upper body and encroaching toward his neck and lower limbs.

"Don't worry." A hand landed on his shoulder, forcing him to face the child slowly turning into a shadow. "The only purpose of a brother personality is to store everything you don't want. Do you rember what you wanted to discard?"

"Evil." Xu Huo didn't speak, but he heard a childish voice.

"That's right." The doctor behind him continued his praise. "What you wanted to discard was human nature. Human nature has both good and evil; only one side can dominate. You used your brother personality to bear the evil for you..."

Suddenly, the doctor's tone shifted. The hand gripping him plunged into the shadow child's chest. "But every personality is equal. You wanted to imprison him, but he also wants to replace you!"

Xu Huo then saw his "own" arm gradually turn black, while the shadow boy across from him slowly shed his blackness, revealing a naive yet cruel smile.

"Why you?"

The vicious question surrounded him from every angle, leaving no dead ends. There were children's voices, adult voices, so that sounded like a younger Xu Huo himself, and others belonging to that faceless doctor who had once appeared in his dreams.

Though these voices were irritating, they carried an overwhelming persuasiveness. Soon, the room turned gray, and bloody footprints appeared on the floor. From each pair of footprints, a new "Xu Huo" erged, at various ages. They all reached out to him simultaneously, trying to drag him into the black mud surging up from the ground.

Hands clawed all over Xu Huo's body. He was completely immobilized, frozen in place until the mud rose to his neck, subrging the "personalities" surrounding him as well. Then, he pulled his hand out of the shadow child's chest, grabbed its face, and twisted it clockwise.

"Click!" The sound of a lock opening.

The mud and "personalities" vanished completely. In front of Xu Huo appeared the Circular Tower staircase once again. But now, the white steps were covered in splotches of color, warped like an abstract painting. A sound rose from below, urging him down continuously.

Frowning, Xu Huo stepped back and closed the door. Then, he opened another door in a different direction, only to find the staircase equally distorted. He repeated this process several tis before finally finding a normal staircase. But even then, he didn't go down. Instead, he tried to construct a fra in front of him.

The fra was the symbol of the second gate within his ntal World. Only if the fra appeared normally could he be sure he was truly inside his own ntal World.

After failing, he quickly closed the door and reopened it.

It took him three minutes to find the right door, which brought him directly to the base of the Circular Tower. The other three personalities hiding in the book tower room were now sitting around a table. They stared at Xu Huo as the floor tiles beneath them began to grow outward. As they grew, the area inside the Circular Tower expanded. When it had doubled in size, the black fragnt on the table lted like water, spreading several fine lines across its surface.

These lines stretched radially across the floor, gradually forming a circular cage on the Circular Tower's walls. Its fra was slender, but its volu was massive. However, if one ignored the connecting lines between the table and the floor, the lines clinging to the walls looked like re shadows cast by objects, completely inconspicuous.

The black fragnt continued to drip. Xu Huo stepped into it, raised his hand, and grabbed at the air. A door appeared automatically before him. As it opened, the black lines instantly shot outward, hiding within the gray shadows and rapidly filling the entire room.

He was still standing in the sa spot, right next to the "Murmuring Sphere," but this room had beco the range of his ntal World's projection.

Yuan Yao had woken up, but he was utterly listless, staring blankly ahead like a dead man.

Sima Xiao Er, anwhile, lay on her back on the ground, a few knives scattered beside her.

The Painting Woman crouched beside her, holding up her phone. "She wanted to cut her own stomach open."

Seeing their reactions, Xu Huo roughly guessed what they had seen during their hallucinations. He put away the Murmuring Sphere, walked over to Sima Xiao Er, lifted her up with one hand, and gestured for the Painting Woman to slap her. In that brief mont of ntal stimulation, he quickly opened a door and stepped through with her.

Sima Xiao Er took a while to co back to her senses. Opening her eyes, she said, "I saw the Skinner. He was scraping like a pig... Hey, where did this door co from?"

Xu Huo used the sa thod to wake Yuan Yao.

After putting away the Murmuring Sphere, the lines he had released into the room didn't disappear. The room was still the sa room, but now Yuan Yao and Sima Xiao Er could see the door. This proved he had initially succeeded in using his ntal power to influence reality. While not as powerful as Bai Kou, simple illusion creation was no longer a problem.

Feeling quite pleased, he said, "You worked hard. I'll treat you to a al."
