"Bankai… stolen…?"
Byakuya Kuchiki stared at his own hand as if it had betrayed his body. The sensation was physical, obscene - like trying to breathe and realizing soone had ripped the air out of your chest. His bond with Senbonzakura, sothing that had always been there - steady, present, answering his call like an extension of his soul - simply… would not respond anymore.
On the other side of the screen, millions felt the sa chill climb up their spines.
Bankai… stolen?
The phrase sounded wrong. Bankai wasn't an object you could just take. Bankai was achievent. Identity. The most intimate thing a Shinigami could bare to the world. And yet, in a few seconds, it had turned into a trophy sealed inside a badge.
The disbelief barely had ti to settle before the sky over Las Noches changed.
Four Garganta - opened by the captains to travel from Soul Society to Hueco Mundo - shut at the exact sa mont, as if soone had snapped their fingers and severed the return route with an invisible blade.
The reaction was imdiate. Even Byakuya, cold as marble, had his expression shift. Even Unohana, who carried centuries on her shoulders and rarely let anything show on her face, went rigid - too tense to be calm.
Then Sosuke Aizen's voice echoed across the open air, amplified by Kidō, rolling through the sky like the world itself was speaking. It wasn't an announcent. It was a decree. Those words didn't ask for attention - they demanded it.
"Intruders…"
The pause he took was almost elegant, like a king choosing to be gracious before he crushed you.
"As respect for your efforts, for wounding my Espada so severely… I will tell you what happens next."
His tone remained serene, as if tragedy were rely procedure.
"From this mont on, we will attack the Human World."
The air seed to grow heavier.
"We have lost half of the Espada, yes… but the plan has unfolded perfectly. The greatest fighting force of the Soul Society is the thirteen captains of the Gotei 13."
He let that hang there, long enough for every person listening to feel the weight of their title.
"And now, three captains have defected. Four have been sealed inside Hueco Mundo. And we have already taken the Bankai of two."
A thin smile almost bled into his voice - not humor, but certainty.
"With this, breaking the Human World and destroying Soul Society… becos simple."
Faces changed instantly, one after another, as if the word "simple" coming from Aizen was the most terrifying thing they'd ever heard.
Nemu rushed to Mayuri, urgency lit in her eyes, and reported in one breath, like she feared ti itself might be stolen next.
"Captain Mayuri… the four Garganta we used to enter have been sealed. All of them."
Mayuri's brow knit, irritation sharp and childish, like soone had ssed with his laboratory.
"Tch," he spat. "How charming."
But it wasn't charming. It was perfect.
The episode's focus turned with cruel precision.
Aizen walked through a Garganta as if stepping through his own front door. Gin Ichimaru and Kana Tōsen flanked him, escorted by subordinates, and every step felt rehearsed - made to humiliate the world. When he erged in Karakura Town, there was no rush, no spectacle. Just presence.
"First, we will destroy the Human World," Aizen said calmly. "We will create the Ōken. And then we will invade the Soul Society in a single stroke."
The mont the words ended, three Garganta tore open in the sky, black wounds splitting the air.
And the top three Espada descended.
Their reiatsu crashed down over the town like gravity turning violent, as if the air had beco heavier and even the light hesitated.
On the other side, the response ford like a wall.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto stepped forward, unmoving, yet sohow the most threatening thing on the field - a furnace that didn't need to move to remind you it burned. Around him, captains poured out of the Senkaimon: Soi Fon, Sajin Komamura, Shunsui Kyōraku, Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Jūshirō Ukitake. And behind them ca the vice-captains, eyes sharp, power contained, ready to die if they had to.
The face-off snapped into place with painful clarity.
War was here.
Omaeda, trembling beside Soi Fon, gave voice to what everyone felt and nobody wanted to say.
"That bastard's reiatsu… it's just as terrifying as ever…"
Kyōraku touched the brim of his hat, studying Aizen like he was asuring a natural disaster.
"Aizen's ability is too dangerous," he murmured. "Maybe we should focus on taking down his Espada first."
Ukitake nodded, but his expression hardened.
"If that's the plan… then we have to decide this as fast as possible."
Komamura took a step forward, and the ground seed to answer his resolve.
"Then we go all out from the start!" he roared. "The Espada are mine, Captain Soi Fon's, and Captain Hitsugaya's! Yamamoto-dono, Kyōraku, and Ukitake - Aizen and the two traitors are yours!"
The command fell like a blade.
And in that instant, the reiatsu of three captains exploded, tearing at the air.
Komamura didn't hesitate.
"Bankai… Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō!"
A massive black colossus rose behind him like a god of judgnt.
At the sa ti, Hitsugaya and Soi Fon unleashed their limits.
"Bankai… Daiguren Hyōrinmaru!"
Ice erupted with fury and beauty, a cold so sharp it felt like it could cut sound itself.
"Bankai… Jakuho Raikōben!"
Power condensed into a golden missile - brutal, direct, made to erase soone from existence.
And that was when the audience panic hit like an explosion.
The mory of what had happened to Byakuya and Mayuri was still too fresh to be called "earlier." The logic was simple: if that badge could steal Bankai… then revealing your Bankai was the sa as offering your throat.
"No! NO! DON'T DO IT!" people scread at their screens before their brains could even organize the words.
Back in Hueco Mundo, Unohana felt the scale of the trap like a blade to the neck. She turned to Isane, voice low and controlled - which only made the order more urgent.
"Inform Head Captain Yamamoto imdiately. The enemy can steal Bankai."
Isane moved fast, hands ready, a communication Kidō forming… and then it failed.
The air didn't answer.
Space itself was dead.
She went pale.
"I… can't, Captain. It won't work. This entire area is completely sealed."
Unohana pressed her lips together, eyes lifting to the blocked sky of Hueco Mundo, and the conclusion ford with cruel clarity.
"We've been played."
And then the episode proved it.
In the very next cut, the top three Espada each drew a badge identical to Gin's from their chests. The sa symbol. The sa wrongness.
The pull ca like a tidal yank.
Hitsugaya's Bankai began to break apart, ice shattering into fragnts and being swallowed as if it had no weight. Komamura's giant lost cohesion, splintering into dust ripped away by an invisible suction. And Soi Fon's missile - vanished in a grotesque draw, like soone had bottled thunder.
Seconds.
Three captains. Three Bankai. Three ultimate weapons - stolen like toys.
Even Yamamoto's eyes widened, rare and violent.
Kyōraku shouted, voice cracking between rage and disbelief.
"Hey - ! What the hell is that?!"
Hitsugaya stared at his hands like they weren't his anymore.
"Ban… kai…" The word died in the air. "It was… taken…"
Komamura looked at his Zanpakutō as if it had gone mute.
"Stolen…"
And above them, Aizen smiled.
Not a big smile. Not a theatrical villain grin.
A small, clean smile - the smile of soone simply confirming the world still obeyed his rules.
Gin clapped lightly, mocking.
"Wow. Captain Aizen's new invention is terrifying," he mused. "Three Bankai at once."
Outside the story, the internet turned into a wildfire. You didn't need comnts on-screen to feel it - people standing up, hands on their heads, breath caught.
Because the math was too simple to ignore: Ichigo Kurosaki was trapped in Hueco Mundo. Four captains were trapped with him. And in the Human World… before the real fighting had even begun, three more captains had already been disard.
How do you fight like that?
How do you win?
The answer ca like an even crueler slap.
Tier Harribel raised her hand with near-elegant calm. Cold drew itself into the air around her - not natural weather, but cold with intent. Cold that carried a na.
"Bankai…"
Ice burst from her shoulders and back, forming enormous wings - crystalline, monstrous, breathtaking.
And the entire world recognized it.
"Daiguren Hyōrinmaru."
Hitsugaya's Bankai - now in her hands.
The Shinigami across from her froze. Viewers felt their stomachs drop.
Stealing was bad enough.
They were using them.
Baraggan Louisenbairn rotated the badge on his wrist like he was testing a new watch.
"Bankai…"
Behind him, Komamura's black colossus rose again - now a stolen sentence made flesh.
And Coyote Starrk… simply sighed, that lazy apathy sohow making it worse.
He didn't even bother using Soi Fon's Bankai himself.
He tossed the badge to Lilynette Gingerbuck like it was a set of keys.
She caught it, eyes bright with childlike curiosity.
"Huh? You're not gonna use it?"
Starrk scratched the back of his head, almost sheepish.
"Eh… that Shinigami girl's Bankai doesn't really suit ."
Lilynette shrugged as if that was perfectly reasonable, then activated the badge.
A massive golden missile ford - absurdly huge - and the tiny Espada hefted it on her shoulder like it was a backpack.
Jakuho Raikōben.
At that point, it felt like fans were going to suffocate.
This wasn't just "disadvantage" anymore.
This was tactical humiliation.
And above all of them, Aizen looked down with the chill of soone who didn't even need to stand up to crush a town.
"This battle…" he said, his voice carrying controlled contempt, "does not require to lift a finger."
His gaze slid, like he was looking beyond Karakura, beyond the world, beyond everything.
"All that remains is to advance, destroy the Human World, create the Ōken, and then march on the Soul Society. In the anti…"
He turned his head, and that small smile returned - inevitable.
"Las Noches… I leave to you."
The cara cut.
Hueco Mundo's highest level. The throne room. Silence like stone.
Ulquiorra Cifer appeared, his body forming as if from solid shadow, and answered without hesitation, without excess emotion.
"Yes, Lord Aizen."
And that was when the episode froze the world at the worst possible mont.
On one side: Aizen and Yamamoto - the greatest forces on the field - locking eyes like two catastrophes about to collide.
On the other: Ulquiorra and Ichigo - eight eyes eting across different fates, both carrying the certainty that nothing would end cleanly.
The image held.
Right there.
And then… the ending the started.
For a second, nobody understood. The tension was at its absolute peak. Bodies were braced for impact. The story had built the perfect stage for the final blow… and then yanked the floor away.
The screen faded slowly, like the world was being erased.
And the title appeared.
Bleach.
Only then did it hit - everywhere, all at once.
It was over.
The episode was over.
The arc was over.
And what followed wasn't just frustration.
It was fury.
Damn it.
Cliffhanger scum.
