Her words left Zhu Yu at a bit of a loss.

By heaven and earth, in all these years, Zhu Yu always considered herself sowhat clever, but she never used her brainpower to bully others!

Now seeing this Commandery Princess from Jie Country, with her tall fra and superb riding skills, yet with a mind as innocent as a ten-year-old girl, Zhu Yu felt a twinge of guilt, thinking that scaring her further would seem rather unkind.

"She’s quite lucky," so she simply pulled Lu Qing aside, speaking in a low voice, letting him decide, "A horse weighing several hundred pounds fell on her, yet it only seems to have caused a minor bone fracture suspicion, without breaking the bones. Still, walking is not advisable until she has had so ti to recover.

Besides, you know I’m not proficient at treating living people... so what I did just now was rely an ergency treatnt."

"Take her to your father’s place for the ti being, what do you think?" Lu Qing pondered for a mont, then sought Zhu Yu’s opinion.

"Is she really... that Commandery Princess?" Zhu Yu confird with Lu Qing, after all, even though the other party seed quite simple-minded, she couldn’t guarantee that she wasn’t a master playing the ga of disguising as a fool.

"Yes." Lu Qing nodded, "When she leaned over to watch you bandaging, the tattoo on the side of her neck was visible.

The children of the Jie King are tattooed with special marks on the side of their necks shortly after birth to prevent any switcheroo."

"In that case, taking her to my father’s place to recover is indeed prudent, since Yan Daoxin is still at ho.

Moreover, in this situation, if I take soone back, no one will dare to inquire too deeply." Zhu Yu rembered how Lu Qing had supported her at Prince Shuo Mansion, feeling a bit amused.

Although, having to rely on her husband’s status and affection to gain respect at her parents’ ho was inherently ironic and nothing to be happy about.

But the customs in Shuo Land have been like this for hundreds of years, not sothing that could be overturned overnight. To achieve a purpose, one must choose the most effective way with the least cost rather than getting caught up in whose face matters at that point.

Anyway, she knows her own level, and after gaining broader horizons and space to perform, Zhu Yu cares less about the Zhu Family’s opinions.

Now, since they’ve reached an agreent, Zhu Yu ca back, squatted down, and asked the girl in front of her, "How should I address you? I can’t keep calling you Commandery Princess or Princess Yi; it’s too conspicuous."

Perhaps she was still sowhat in shock earlier, but now the girl regained a bit of sense, and hearing the conversation between Zhu Yu and Lu Qing, she realized they didn’t seem to be from Prince Yi Mansion sent to capture her.

These two were so relaxed in front of her, neither acting like facing an enemy nor being overly respectful, not even using honorifics, which sowhat puzzled her, leaving her unclear about the situation.

She looked at them warily, supporting her injured leg with one hand: "Who exactly are you? If you don’t explain, I won’t go with you no matter what."

Lu Qing pulled a waist card from his sleeve and handed it over. She examined it carefully, finding it very familiar; it looked much like the one Lu Zhang wore at his waist during their wedding day, but not entirely the sa.

"He is Lu Zhang’s elder brother, nad Lu Qing." Seeing that she seed unfamiliar with the Prince Xiaoyao’s waist card, Zhu Yu explained, which was understandable, considering she grew up in Jie Country, "I am his wife.

Let’s not discuss anything else; just look at the situation. Your leg is injured, and the horse ran away. Even if you don’t go with us, what are you going to do? Continue to flee with a la leg?"

Originally, Zhu Yu thought she would need so persuasion to make the girl agree to go with them. But upon hearing Zhu Yu’s words, looking again at the waist card in Lu Qing’s hand, the girl imdiately grasped their identities and nodded.

"Alright, I’ll go with you. My na is Yan Shu. Just call by my na, not Princess Yi, that’s just revolting." Clearly, she breathed a sigh of relief, saying to Zhu Yu and Lu Qing.

This puzzled Zhu Yu a bit: "You... agreed just like that? Weren’t you afraid we’d send you back to Prince Yi Mansion just now?"

"No, I didn’t stay long there, but I know your side with Prince Xiaoyao doesn’t get along with Lu Zhang at all; you’re adversaries." Yan Shu scrutinized Lu Qing and then Zhu Yu, "On my big wedding day, while resting in the room, I heard the won outside gossiping about how Prince Xiaoyao indeed didn’t co to the banquet, because during Prince Xiaoyao’s own wedding celebration, sothing unpleasant happened with Lu Zhang.

They also said that although both were royal marriages, Lu Zhang had more face and was more favored. That made Prince Xiaoyao a joke, embittered and refusing to attend.

My father once said, an enemy’s enemy is a friend.

Since you have such a bad relationship with Lu Zhang, why would you help him send back!

You’re probably eager to see him embarrassed, aren’t you?"

Zhu Yu almost wanted to tell her sotis even an enemy’s enemy could still be an enemy. If they were indeed Lu Zhang’s adversaries, they could have high-profilely escorted her back to Jin Country, back to the Capital, making it as flamboyant as possible along the way, allowing the whole world to see how the new wife of Prince Yi would rather flee embarrassingly than be Lu Zhang’s wife, thereby shaming Prince Yi Mansion and Duke Yan’s family, while letting the guilty Jie King be controlled by Emperor Jin in the process.

Luckily, they didn’t plan on doing so, partly because Lu Qing and Lu Chao needed stability across the world, as disorder would obstruct their pursuit of sufficient strength for growth.

And on the other hand, they were currently seeking an avenue to investigate the bandit soldiers and weapons of Jie Country.

Yan Shu was just the perfect candidate.

Since they had reached a consensus, there was no need for further delay.

Zhu Yu originally thought she was the only suitable person present to support Yan Shu, so she felt obligated to take up this task.

Unexpectedly, when she attempted to help Yan Shu up, she was waved off.

"Look at your slender arms and legs. You better carefully make your own way down the mountain, otherwise, we might just end up rolling down the mountain together." Yan Shu pointed to the rune next to them, "Doesn’t your guard seem quite hefty? Surely he can carry a person down the mountain?"
