"Mm, yes," the girl nodded.
"Pokémon items are extrely valuable resources. They rarely appear on the open market—but while the market may lack them, the Pokémon League certainly doesn't."
"After my mother and grandmother reported your request, the League responded. The remaining four items can be purchased directly through them, and the price will follow the standard rates listed in the battle shop at the city arena."
Ash paused for a mont, surprised.
"Through the League…?"
He hadn't expected the League to open such a convenient channel for him.
According to Professor Oak, the Kanto League had already designated him as a top-seed talent. After the previous attack by Team Rocket, they had even stationed investigators in Pallet Town for his protection.
But Ash understood sothing clearly—none of the League's support ca without conditions.
In the future, he would be expected to join the Kanto League. Truly rare resources—like pseudo-legendary Pokémon—would only be granted if he proved himself, such as by winning the Indigo League Championship.
In other words, the League's current support leaned more toward granting privileges and convenience rather than direct resource investnt.
And that made sense.
No matter how talented soone was, if they couldn't grow successfully, everything was aningless.

Gary and Green nodded and headed toward Arena 10.
anwhile, Ash—raising the team's average strength with Pikachu—walked alongside Clarissa toward Arena 6, ready for the next battle.
