"Where am I from?"

Arceus's sudden sharpness left Elias puzzled, especially its calling him an "intruder."

"I live…in the Hisui region?"

Considering Arceus's identity, Elias replied cautiously.

However, Arceus's aura intensified imdiately upon hearing his words.

"The original tiline of the Hisui region never included soone like you."

"You've already changed too many things. If you want to save your Pokémon, it's best to be honest with ."

Arceus's tone was grave.

Indeed, it had been observing this human closely for quite so ti.

What baffled it most was—

The origin and identity of this individual were completely unknown, even to it, the deity of creation itself.

Such an anomaly had never occurred before.

Moreover, Arceus noticed that even Regigigas and Giratina, two Pokémon always eager to challenge it, inexplicably favored Elias.

While these Pokémon together posed no real threat to Arceus, the fact that two legendary beings chose to cooperate with Elias spoke volus.

This further deepened its curiosity about the young trainer's identity.

"Speak. Quickly," Arceus urged, staring down at Elias with asured calmness.

Elias still couldn't fully grasp Arceus's intentions, but one part of its words stood out starkly.

"Save my Pokémon?"

"Who exactly do you an? What happened?"

Elias narrowed his eyes, urgency clear in his voice.

Seeing that Elias ignored its question, Arceus calmly stepped forward, gently tapping the ground.

Imdiately, a shimring screen appeared, replaying the entire interaction between Zoroark and Giratina from earlier.

It even showed Zoroark narrowly blocking the attack and fleeing hastily.

Another ripple, and Zoroark appeared back at their house, face buried in Elias's chest, sobbing quietly.

"Her. Your relationship with her seems quite close, doesn't it?" Arceus asked, glancing aningfully at the screen.

However, upon turning back toward Elias, Arceus paused briefly.

Elias's expression had turned utterly dark, his aura surging as the powers of [Aura], Psychic energy, and the [Power of Viridian] blended together, impressive enough to even earn silent admiration from Arceus itself.

If Elias's origin was known, Arceus might even consider him the most flawless creation it had ever shaped throughout all these eons.

But unfortunately, the boy's identity remained a mystery.

"Send back."

Elias's cold voice suddenly rang out.

"Tell your origins, and not only will I let you leave—I'll even ensure Giratina pays the price."

Arceus responded calmly, unmoved.

"I don't understand what you're talking about."

Elias frowned deeply, losing patience with Arceus.

Zoroark was out there crying, betrayed by that fat centipede—she must be terrified and helpless right now.

He had to go and comfort her.

Arceus's displeasure grew at Elias's denial.

Yet, observing Elias's genuine confusion closely, Arceus sensed no deception.

Either this human had an unprecedented way to mask lies, or—more likely—he genuinely didn't know anything.

Is he a pawn placed here by so powerful entity?

Or perhaps... just a simple case of amnesia?

Arceus pondered inwardly.

Seeing Elias's growing tension, Arceus dropped its imdiate interrogation plans.

"I can allow your Zoroark to absorb power from my Plates, enough to strengthen her to defeat Giratina," Arceus proposed calmly.

As Elias looked up sharply, Arceus continued,

"But in exchange, you must leave this place."

Arceus no longer wanted Elias to remain here. The tiline was already dangerously chaotic. Any further disruptions might attract trouble from Arceus's main body.

If Elias truly posed a problem, then that headache belonged to its original self—not this projection.

"You're serious?" Elias's attention shifted entirely to the offer.

Truthfully, even if he woke now, all he could do was comfort Zoroark.

When Giratina returned, everyone—including Zoroark, Lucario, Cogita, and even Cynthia—would be in mortal danger.

He neither wanted nor would permit such a scenario to occur.

"I am," Arceus affird plainly.

This arrangent allowed Arceus to remove Elias from the region while teaching Giratina a much-needed lesson.

Producing an overly powerful Zoroark seed a small price to pay.

Elias considered for a brief mont, then slowly nodded.

"I accept."

Zoroark always yearned to beco stronger. She would surely be happy about this.

Sighing softly, Elias thought with so relief.

...

"El… Elias… hic… hic…"

Zoroark lay trembling against Elias's chest, sobbing intermittently.

She was sure sothing had gone terribly wrong with her illusion, causing Elias to remain unconscious.

Her overwhelming sadness consud her completely, eclipsing even her earlier fear of Giratina.

"No…no, I can't stay like this."

Wiping tears away, Zoroark lifted her tear-stained face.

Even if Elias couldn't wake up now, she had to take him away.

Otherwise…

Once Giratina arrived, it'd be too late.

Better unconscious now than permanently lost later.

Thinking this, Zoroark shakily tried to stand, though her legs still felt weak beneath her.

But just then, a hand suddenly grasped her paw.

Caught completely off-guard, Zoroark tumbled back onto the bed, her face pressed firmly against Elias's chest again.

"Why are you crying so much? Your fur's all soaked."

Elias gently cupped Zoroark's stunned face, speaking softly.

The tears from her face had soaked through onto his clothes.

Still trapped in sorrow, Zoroark froze in disbelief at the sound of the familiar voice.

Elias's gentle gaze appeared faintly illuminated by the moonlight streaming in.

She reached out and pinched the hand gently holding her face, feeling its warmth, confirming it wasn't a dream.

Zoroark nearly fainted from sheer relief.

He... he's awake.

"Elias… I—I'm sorry… I ssed everything up again," Zoroark cried out, plunging into Elias's embrace and sobbing into his chest.
