After sending all his Pokémon out, Ron took the north path toward the mountains.
Not far in, he t Linus, gathering moss with Trubbish.
Unlike other townsfolk, Linus wore no protection—mouth wide open, letting erald rain pour in.
"Collecting moss too?" Linus greeted, spotting Ron's harvest. He approached like a kindred spirit. "I've got heaps! Tomorrow'll be sunny—I'll dry this for my bed. It should be extra soft!"
Ron mumbled a reply through his mask.

The next day…
Just as Linus predicted, the sun rose clear.
Buildings stained by Green Rain slowly returned to normal under its warmth.
Ron had gathered plenty of moss last night. After tallying it and making breakfast, he began harvesting today's hops.
Whether from the rain's effects or his imagination, the farm's crops seed higher quality. Even Gloom—drenched in Green Rain—had boosted stats across the board.
Also, Ron only learned this morning that Abigail had mined yesterday too.
Thanks to her and Gengar's efforts, they'd reached Mine Floor 90.
Gloom's sword had upgraded to the Obsidian Greatsword—Floor 90's treasure chest reward.
Heavier than the previous daggers, but Gloom's enhanced HP and Defense made it a perfect fit.
Watching Gloom proudly wield the blade, Ron smiled and sent Rattata and Geodude to join Abigail in the Mines.

anwhile…
Linus was drying moss at his campsite. Once sun-dried, the clumps would fluff like cotton—perfect for bedding.
As he worked, Joy spotted him from the carpenter's shop. She waved goodbye to Robin and jogged over.
"Morning, Linus!" She helped spread the moss.
Knowing Linus lived alone and had few friends, Joy checked on him. "Where were you during the rain yesterday?"
"Gathering moss!" Linus said. "It was everywhere after the rain. Dried, it'll pad my bed perfectly! A gift from the sky!"
Joy blinked. "You didn't seek shelter?"
"No need! I even collected ferns! I even hope this rain cos every few days!"
Relieved Linus was unhard, Joy helped arrange the moss, then headed back to the Community Center.
Yesterday, she'd played board gas with Robin and Maru—but Robin was distracted, clearly worried about Detrius still researching in the rain.
'If Linus is fine after a full day in the rain,' Joy thought, 'Detrius in his hazmat suit should be safe.'
She opened the Community Center for business as usual.

At the Farm…
Robin arrived to build the Barn as promised.
Detrius had returned late last night. Still angry, Robin hadn't spoken to him—and her mood remained sour.
She greeted Ron curtly and started working.
Usually, she'd chat with Ron before beginning. Today, her distress was obvious—even to Indeedee, who could sense emotions.
"Indeedee?" Indeedee looked at Ron.
Ron kept harvesting hops, glancing at Robin.
He guessed her anger stemd from Detrius's reckless research in the rain.
Robin had been anxious before the downpour even started. Detrius's solo expedition clearly wasn't a mutual decision.
But it was their marriage—Ron couldn't side with Robin against Detrius.
So he returned to work.
"Indee?" Indeedee tilted its head, then dashed to Ron's fruit trees.
A Peach tree—won from the prize machine—had ripened just in ti.
Indeedee plucked a peach, washed it, and trotted to Robin, who was hamring on a ladder.
"Indee! Dee!" it chirped.
Distracted, Robin looked down. "For ?" She took the floating peach and bit into it without thinking.
Like all crops, the peaches had been enhanced by the Green Rain.
Sweetness flooded her senses.
