Ron fell silent for a mont. Before he could respond, the Wizard chuckled.

In the next instant, light flashed—and they vanished from the forest floor, reappearing inside the Wizard's Tower.

The interior was cramped. Near the entrance stood a table piled with books, and beside it, a bubbling cauldron filled with simring potion.

The Wizard led Ron to a corner, where a narrow opening in the floor let in a sliver of light.

"Go down," the Wizard said, stepping aside. "There's a book your grandfather left you. Read it yourself—I won't follow."

Ron climbed down the rope ladder into a tight underground chamber.

In one corner stood a strange statue; in the other, a small desk held a notebook wrapped in brown leather.

He picked it up—and recognized the familiar handwriting instantly.

The notes were brief:

—How to travel to Kalos once the Nursery was complete.

—Locations where his "grandfather" had hidden items across Kalos for Ron to retrieve.

—And crucially, instructions for bringing others to Kalos, including a specific ntion: "Prepare the Farm Totem before departure."

Ron tucked the notebook away, puzzled by the last point.

The Farm Totem was a Stardew Valley item that allowed instant teleportation back to the farm—but in the ga, it required reaching a certain Farming skill level to unlock its recipe.

Right now, Ron had no such recipe.

He climbed back up and asked the Wizard, who was now stirring his cauldron, "The notebook ntioned a Farm Totem… Do you know how to make it?"

The Wizard turned, thought for a mont, then walked to a bookshelf. After a brief search, he handed Ron a blueprint.

"Yes. Just follow this." He paused. "Linking Stardew Valley to Kalos… cost us sothing. This blueprint was one of those sacrifices."

Noticing Ron's confusion, he added, "But copies still exist. For farm-related plans, ask Evelyn—she used to be a farr. She knows everything."

Evelyn?

Ron took a mont to recall—the elderly woman who lived next to the saloon.

The Wizard continued, "By the way… I assu you plan to visit Kalos. If you do, bring a Beldum. In exchange, I'll teach you a simple spell."

"A spell?"

"Yes." The Wizard turned back to his cauldron, pouring the bubbling erald liquid into a small vial. He placed it in Ron's hand. "Or… you can preview it now. Drink this."

Staring at the strangely fizzing liquid, Ron hesitated—then trusted the Wizard and swallowed it.

An indescribable taste exploded in his mouth. His head throbbed, his vision blurred—and when he opened his eyes again, he felt an odd energy coiling restlessly at his fingertips.

"What… is this?" Ron asked.

"I'm not entirely sure," the Wizard said, studying him like a scientific specin. "People from Kalos… they're a bit different from us."

Ron paled—but the Wizard laughed. "Don't panic. Your grandfather called it Aura."

It was similar to the Wizard's own arcane energies, yet distinct—sothing that resided in every Kalos native… and every Pokémon.

"It's a remarkable power," the Wizard explained. "With training, you could even communicate with Pokémon telepathically—or heal and purify them."

This was the first ti he'd tested it on a human.

He gestured to a spot on the wall. "If that energy feels ready to burst out… try releasing it there. Don't hit anything else—it's a pain to clean up."

Ron swung a fist toward the designated spot.

A transparent aura erupted from his hand, surging forward with his punch.

Crack!

Small stones rained down from the wall.

The Wizard snapped his fingers—and the damage instantly reversed itself.

"Good enough for today," he said, scribbling sothing on a scrap of paper. "Bring that Beldum, and we'll continue."

Light flashed again—and Ron found himself standing outside the tower.

Thinking over the Wizard's words, he headed into the forest.

First: linking Kalos to Stardew Valley had sacrificed certain systems—like skill-based unlocks.

But the core chanics hadn't vanished—they'd shifted.

Ron pulled out his Pokédex, reopened the Breeding System, and examined each Pokémon's detailed stat panel.

And there it was.

The skills that once boosted the player's farming—now boosted the Pokémon.

Froakie, from constant watering, had reached Farming Level 2.

Orthworm: Foraging Level 1, Mining Level 1.

Geodude, from chopping wood and fishing with Ron: Foraging Level 2, Fishing Level 2.

And the Potential Points were still there:

- Froakie: 2 points

- Orthworm: 2 points

- Geodue: 4 points

Ron allocated them carefully—boosting speed for Froakie, defense for Orthworm, and attack for Geodude.

Instantly, their Ability Ratings improved:

- Froakie rose from "Average" to "Decent".

- Geodude and Orthworm climbed from "Below Average" to "Average".
