Ron stood there just as calmly as he had during Froakie's battle.
Bellossom didn't need Ron to give it any commands either; it could carve out a path entirely on its own just by swinging its sword. In fact, if Ron had to give it commands to fight, it might actually end up dragging Bellossom down.
With this in mind, Ron decided to simply accept the so-called telepathic title.
Over on the other side, seeing Bellossom charge at them with its sword without any commands from Ron, Ramos beca highly cautious.
'Is this really telepathy?' he thought, and imdiately shouted, "To the left, watch out, Gogoat!"
The mont the words left his mouth, Bellossom appeared on the Gogoat's left with its sword. The Gogoat's pupils constricted, and it quickly raised its horns to block Bellossom's attack. With a loud clack, the Gogoat was forced back a few steps on the ground.
Looking at the deep gouges the Gogoat's hooves had left on the ground, Ramos beca even more cautious.
'Can a Bellossom really possess this kind of physical strength?' Ramos thought, his gaze toward Bellossom filling with curiosity. Not just Bellossom, many Grass-types were considered "beautiful but fragile"—they looked nice but couldn't exert their full strength in battle, so they were mostly utilized in places like farms and ranches instead.
Ramos let out a long sigh. Even though the battle wasn't over yet, he could already foresee that this Gym battle would undoubtedly end in Bellossom's victory.
"It really is a fine child," he murmured.
anwhile, in Pelican Town.
"Still haven't caught it, ow—" owth, rubbing its eyes, was dragged by Sailor toward Penny's house. "Ratta, ratta, ratta," Sailor cried out in frustration.
Yesterday, after spending a whole day at the lake, Sailor had finally seen the true form of the Legend. But more than that, what made it angrier was that it simply couldn't catch the darn thing. It honestly felt like it wasn't itself fishing, but that the fish was playing tricks on it.
If Froakie hadn't been around, and if Willy hadn't been right beside it, it would have long since imitated Ron's fishing style and had Froakie slap that fish silly in the water.
"Then just wait for Ron and the others to co back, ow," owth said, rubbing its eyes. "When the ti cos, we can get Froakie to get revenge for you."
"Ratta, ratta." Sailor cried out.
"—I really don't get you guys," owth said as they arrived at Penny's door and it knocked.
"Coming." Penny opened the door. Seeing no one outside, she looked down and saw Sailor with red eyes, and owth forcing an awkward smile. "—Rain Dance, right?" Penny asked tentatively.
The next instant, Sailor started crying out, "Ratta, ratta, ratta."
Even though she didn't know exactly what it was saying, Penny could guess the general idea.
"Uh, have you eaten breakfast yet?" Penny asked. "Do you want to rest a bit first?"
"Ratta, ratta."
"Not yet, ow—owth just woke up."
"Then eat a bit first," Penny said, carrying the two into the house for a quick breakfast. Under Sailor's constant urging, Penny brought Clefable, leading owth and Sailor to the lake.
"Clefable, use trono!"
"Clef~"
The mont the words fell, a raincloud began to gather over the lake.
"Ratta, ratta, ratta."
"It says to throw the hook to that position, ow," owth pointed at the center of the lake.
"I see, how do you use this thing?" Penny asked, holding the advanced fishing rod in her hands that she had never seen before.
Under the gaze of owth and Sailor, Penny smiled awkwardly.
Sailor took the fishing rod and forcefully cast it toward the center of the lake. The hook landed exactly where it was supposed to.
"Wow, you're already this amazing now." Penny clapped and cheered.
"Ratta." Sailor nodded proudly, then handed the rod to Penny.
"Ratta."
"It says for you to hold it, ow," owth translated. "And when the rod moves, just yank hard, ow."
"Oh, okay." Penny nodded, gripping the rod.
Right after that, Sailor stripped off its sailor suit on the side, solemnly handed it to owth's paws, and jumped into the lake.
"What is it doing?"
"I don't know, ow."
"Oh—"
Right at this mont, in the water.
Just like usual, the fish known as the Legend swam leisurely in the lake. Although it didn't understand why it had suddenly started raining everywhere lately, during the rain, because the depths of the lake lacked oxygen, it would co up to shallower waters to catch its breath. Besides, around this ti, people would deliver delicious food to it in a comical way. Not to ntion, it actually quite liked rainy days.
With this in mind, it swam around a bit more, waiting for so fool to deliver food to it, and then it would pretend to get caught and play with that fishing rod for a while.
This required skill: right when the angler thought they were about to reel it in and started cheering, it would suddenly give its tail a furious slap and disappear into the depths of the lake with the delicious offering.
Because it always thought it could be successfully caught, these people would endlessly supply it with an endless amount of food.
Thinking this, it saw an offering drop from above.
Just like usual, the fish snapped the fishing hook right into its mouth.
"Pull hard, ow!"
"Oh, oh, okay." Penny quickly tightened her grip on the rod.
The pull is so light, they must be a beginner.
The fish imdiately ford the intention to tease them. Swimming slowly along the direction of the fishing line, it waited for the right mont. Just then, its peripheral vision noticed sothing swimming over in the water.
The next instant, a paw heavily slapped it across the face.
"What was that, ow?" owth asked, looking at the bubbles rolling on the water.
"I don't know," Penny said, pulling on the rod. "Are we supposed to turn this thing?"
"Yeah, that's how you reel the line in, ow."
Just then, Penny tightened the line, dragging up a weird, massive fish.
Imdiately following that was Sailor, leaping out of the water, and a giant palm print landing right on the fish's face.
"What a vicious strike, ow!"
