Upon hearing Pupitar’s cry, the leader Tyranitar hesitated for a mont.

In the end, he chose to trust.

After all, they were of the sa species, and regarding that trainer Pupitar spoke so much about, he could still feel a faint trace of threat coming from him.

Although Cain looked weak, even to the point of seeming completely helpless before him...

He didn’t know why, but the leader Tyranitar could sense a slight feeling of danger coming from him. It was very faint, but real.

That was the so-called beast’s instinct.

Upon seeing the two Tyrantrum running toward them, the system scanned their data.

Not bad, within a manageable range.

Two level 65 Pokémon like those would be considered very powerful in the outside world, but here, they were just ordinary mbers of a Tyrantrum pack.

The Slowking next to Cain would have no problem facing one of them.

But it was rare to encounter such strong opponents.

He took out a Poké Ball and summoned Florges.

Then, the Gengar hiding in Cain’s shadow also appeared.

Three versus two. No problem.

Pupitar stayed beside Cain, watching Slowking and Gengar up front, feeling weak.

He didn’t even have the chance to intervene.

"Florges, use Grassy Terrain in the Tyranitar’s area!" Cain ordered.

Florges, upon coming out, heard Cain’s order and imdiately waved her hands. Almost instantly, she changed her attribute to Grass-type.

Then she cast the move Grassy Terrain right under the feet of the Tyranitar.

At that mont, the Tyranitar perked up as if they had received an injection of energy. They felt their strength return all at once.

Only then did Cain look at Slowking and Gengar.

"Get ready to fight, team!"

"Yadon~!"

"Kekeke~!"

Slowking and Gengar were eager to battle.

"Gengar, ga Evolution," said Cain as he pulled out the corresponding Key Stone.

"Kekeke!"

The ga Stone Gengar kept within his body connected with the Key Stone in Cain’s hand. The energy of ga Evolution enveloped him instantly.

In a blink, the energy fused into Gengar’s body.

Gengar had now taken on his ga Evolution form.

With his fists on the ground, a wicked grin spread across his face.

"Slowking, Psychic Water Pulse."

"Gengar, Confuse Ray."

"Florges, use Grass Knot."

Cain’s orders were swift.

The Pokémon were already ready. The battle began imdiately.

From the rocky ground, six enormous vines suddenly erged in the Tyrantrum’s path, trying to trap them both.

Seeing that the move Grass Knot had successfully been launched, Florges didn’t stop. Two green energy spheres imdiately appeared in her hands and were hurled toward one of the Tyrantrum.

anwhile, Gengar’s Confuse Ray light orb floated toward the other Tyrantrum.

Without pausing to observe the effect of Confuse Ray, Gengar dove into the ground and quickly advanced toward the target.

Regardless of the result, taking the initiative is always the right move.

The charging Tyrantrum were caught off guard by the Grass Knot move.

Boom!

Boom!

Both fell heavily to the ground.

Given their weight and speed, the crash must have hurt quite a bit.

Then ca the impact from the combined Psychic Water Pulse from Slowking and Florges’ energy spheres.

One of the Pokémon was hit by those attacks, while the other was struck by Confuse Ray.

The fall and sudden attack left that Tyrantrum in a confused state.

"Hex!" Cain whispered.

Gengar laughed, "Kekeke!" and erged from the Tyrantrum’s shadow.

His eyes glead with purple light, and above his head, a floating eye appeared and launched multiple dark blue energy rings onto the Tyrantrum.

Since it was in a confused state, the move dealt double damage.

The Tyrantrum, in pain, roared and tried to get up.

But it wasn’t so easy.

Slowking was already entangled in battle with the other Tyrantrum, while Florges continued launching attacks without any pressure.

She waved her hands again, causing more vines to rise from the ground, dragging the Tyrantrum back down.

Then she launched another energy sphere to support Slowking.

Gengar reappeared in front of the Tyrantrum.

Eye contact between them.

Hypnosis!

Cain had emphasized the use of this move over and over again, which had previously been underestimated.

Now Gengar mastered it with great skill, especially after ga Evolving.

And ever since he experienced the pleasure of putting an opponent to sleep and torturing them at will, his love for that move grew exponentially.

That Tyrantrum, which monts ago had looked so imposing...

Now its eyelids were starting to close.

In no ti, a thunderous snore was heard.

The other Tyrantrum, upon realizing it, tried to wake it up, but Slowking didn’t give it a chance.

He expanded his psychic power, blocking the spread of the sound.

With the help of Florges, who also kept attacking, it was better off worrying about itself.

"Gengar, use Dream Eater and then Nightmare!"

Seeing that the Tyrantrum was asleep, Cain ordered the use of both sleep-type moves.

The move Nightmare is even more terrifying than Dream Eater.

Dream Eater is a move with power and Psychic-type, while Nightmare is Ghost-type and has no direct power.

Nightmare causes the enemy to have a bad dream, reducing their vitality by 20 to 30% at intervals.

This effect is especially lethal against Pokémon with high defense.

With both attacks combined, the Tyrantrum had no way to wake up.

In fact, Gengar could even have used Toxic before applying Hypnosis, which would have made the strategy even more effective.

The Tyrantrum collapsed, completely losing the ability to fight.

On the other side, the battle also ended almost at the sa ti.

After all, Slowking and Florges had a significant type advantage.

Boom!

The massive body of the Tyrantrum fell to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

So far, the two Tyrantrum that had launched the surprise attack had been defeated.

If it weren’t for the restriction that Pokémon in this place can’t be captured, Cain would have earned a good haul today.

After all, in the distance there was still a large pack of Tyrantrum.

For now, it seed both sides remained in conflict, but thanks to Florges’ Grassy Terrain, the balance was already starting to tip.

Cain was sure: if he decided to intervene directly, he could defeat all the Tyrantrum.

But it was a sha he couldn’t catch them, so his motivation wasn’t very high.

At most, he’d let Florges use Grassy Terrain a few more tis to help give the Tyranitar a slight advantage.
