"Tyranitar, great job! Now fill in that corner too."
A young man in a dark red jacket with a handso face was giving orders to a massive Pokémon over three ters tall.
At his command, the sea before them began to rise slowly: a mound of earth erged from the depths and gradually flattened out, rging completely with the small island and becoming part of it.
"Gardevoir, Venusaur!" the young man called to the Pokémon behind him.
Small holes appeared across the bare ground, and in each one, a young seed was planted.
From the blossom on Venusaur’s back, a brilliant green energy radiated outward, spreading across the soil; within monts, a carpet of fresh grass and flowers sprouted over the area. The newly planted trees sank deep roots and began to grow rapidly.
"Kingdra!" the young man shouted toward the vast ocean.
As if answering the call, a blue Pokémon with dragon-like horns erged from the waves, spraying a gentle shower of fresh water that moistened the new adow.
Under the sunlight, the grass and trees glimred with vibrant brilliance.
The young man clapped his hands in satisfaction. "Alright, we’re done with the expansion for today. There’s still daylight left... tonight we’ll have a barbecue—it’s been a long ti since we’ve had one!"
The Pokémon around him imdiately showed their excitent.
A wave of energy lifted him gently into the air and set him down on Venusaur’s broad back. He sat comfortably as the Pokémon began walking toward the island’s interior.
At first glance, one could tell Venusaur’s colors were unusual: although its skin was still green, it was a lighter tone, and the flower on its back was yellow. It was a Shiny Venusaur.
As they were about to return, two Pokémon that looked like floating tufts of cotton descended from the mountain at the island’s center.
"Little Altaria, Little Altaria," the young man greeted with a smile as they approached.
They were two Altaria, joyfully circling around Venusaur while chirping excitedly, telling the young man about the fun things they had done during the day—or perhaps proudly reporting that they had completed their training.
The young man, his expression soft with affection, pulled two transparent Pokéblocks from his pocket and tossed them toward the two Altaria, who caught their rewards and settled down happily.
Thus, the returning group grew even larger.
From the coast to the center of the island—where a mid-sized rocky mountain stood—it took them about thirty minutes to arrive.
There, several Pokémon were already waiting, clearly aware that a great feast was about to begin.
At a glance, it was clear the variety of Pokémon was imnse, and so hid their power so well that it was impossible to sense their true strength.
The young man jumped down from Venusaur’s back and said energetically, "Lucario, go with your master to the other side of the island and catch a few sheep, cows, or pigs from the ranch. But don’t overdo it, alright? That place took a lot of work to set up—we need to keep it balanced."
"Blaazk!"
"Lucarr!"
Lucario, with blue-and-black fur and sharp spikes on his hands and chest, nodded eagerly. At his side, Blaziken crossed his arms with a more composed attitude.
Both bent their knees slightly and, with a single leap, vanished into the forest. The shadows they left behind faded monts later.
They were so fast that only afterimages remained!
The young man shook his head with a smile. "Honchkrow, Salance, go help them. Bring back a few catches first, but remind them not to go overboard."
Honchkrow, with black feathers tinged with red and a crest like a hat, imdiately took off and disappeared. Behind him, the majestic Salance—with a blue body and red wings—began to glide slowly... until a powerful flap launched him forward, vanishing into the sky as well.
"Weavile, Drapion, let those still training or playing know it’s ti for dinner."
One by one, the Pokémon followed his commands. The entire scene radiated harmony and companionship.
That young man in a crimson jacket and calm deanor was none other than Cain.
And his island was no longer the sa.
With the help of his Pokémon—especially Tyranitar, who had fully absorbed Groudon’s crystalline energy—the island had undergone a complete transformation.
The most obvious change was its size: the territory had quadrupled. To the original area, three new landmasses of equal size had been added, all created through Tyranitar’s mastery over Ground-type energy. He couldn’t turn seas into land like Groudon, but he could gradually expand an entire island.
As for the central mountain, it had been constructed by Aggron, Diancie, and hundreds of Carbink working together.
Cain had even managed to relocate the entire Carbink kingdom to the island, along with the Heart Diamond created by Diancie.
The small Carbink village flourished; they were self-sufficient and had multiplied rapidly, now numbering over five hundred Pokémon.
But it wasn’t only the island that had changed—Cain’s Pokémon had also evolved trendously.
During this ti, Cain had lived through the longest and most stable period since his rebirth: a full six months.
Half a year!
Aside from a few rare outings or occasional calls, he had remained with his Pokémon, devoting himself entirely to them in that hidden paradise.
