Cain's heart tightened all at once. He had not expected Darkrai to lose control and appear, much less that Darkrai would be able to attract Palkia's attention.

At this mont, the two Pokémon should not be on the sa level; even if Darkrai were to fully recover, at most it could only barely resist a Pokémon at Palkia's level.

However, when Palkia's gaze shifted toward Cain, on his wrist, hidden beneath the black robe, that semicircle of alphabet-like symbols drawn with Unown imdiately lit up.

A flash of surprise appeared once more in Palkia's eyes. It did not understand why such a weak human possessed within his body an aura of Unown so familiar—and moreover, not just one or two.

When thinking of the Unown, Palkia's curiosity toward Cain increased even more, though this ti it was no longer a curiosity filled with danger, but a pure curiosity. Those special Unown symbols could, in a sense, be considered of the sa origin as himself; when Dialga and he created this continent, those little ones had also contributed quite a lot.

The combat power of the Unown, to Palkia, was regrettably weak, almost like ants, but their strange and special abilities made Palkia not dare to underestimate them.

In fact, to a certain extent, the Unown could be considered his predecessors, because before Arceus found Dialga, Giratina, and him, the Unown already existed in infinite space.

This type of Pokémon possessed all kinds of peculiar abilities, but in Palkia's eyes, the strangest was that innate ability of their species to seek benefits and avoid danger. Precisely because of this, and despite their weak strength, they had managed to survive until now.

And, deep down, both Palkia and Dialga owed the Unown a favor, neither big nor small.

Just as Palkia's attention had been drawn to Cain, and Marcus and Tony were about to recall their Pokémon and leave, beside the place where Palkia stood there suddenly appeared a distorted black hole, neither large nor small.

The hole vanished in an instant, and accompanied by a distortion of energy, the silhouette of another Pokémon slowly manifested before everyone.

The god of ti, Dialga!

What a scene: two legendary gods suddenly gathered in the sa place. It was precisely because of Dialga's appearance that Palkia diverted its attention from Cain, allowing him to let out a silent sigh of relief.

They were two genuine top-tier Legendary Pokémon in excellent condition!

They were not comparable to Groudon and Kyogre, who had only just awakened their divine consciousness.

Moreover, although both were top-tier Legendary Pokémon, Dialga's power of ti and Palkia's power of space were clearly even more difficult to comprehend.

"ROOOOAAAR!!!"

As soon as it appeared, Dialga roared without hesitation, announcing its arrival to the entire continent.

Dialga, like Palkia, could be regarded as one of the masters of that continent. Its presence was in no way inferior to Palkia's. The Pokémon that had fainted from Palkia's draconic roar, just after they had barely awakened, fainted once again, in a truly miserable scene.

"Rooaar!!"

Dialga's appearance successfully drew Palkia's attention. The two Pokémon looked at each other and roared at the sa ti; it was unclear whether it was a greeting between friends or mutual mockery between enemies.

Dialga and Palkia had very different appearances.

In its basic form, Dialga is a Steel- and Dragon-type Pokémon, while Palkia is Water- and Dragon-type.

Dialga looked like a dark-blue, lizard-legged dinosaur, with tallic parts all over its body and several light-blue stripes. On its head protruded a truncated pyramid-shaped growth, from whose tip light-blue lines extended down to its neck. It had two horns, one on each side of its head, which descended to the area of its eyes, forming a protrusion, and extended toward its mouth.

This legendary Pokémon had dark gray eyelids, with almost no visible sclera, red irises, and black pupils.

On both sides of Dialga's nose were three black markings; the bridge of its nose was silver tal. Its tongue was pink, and from its silver lower lip protruded two sharp, white, conical fangs. It had no upper lip. The tallic part of its chest looked like natural armor, with a cobalt-blue pentagonal diamond embedded in the center.

On its neck were three silver spikes, on its back a scale-like structure with five sharp spines. It had a tail and four legs, each with three tallic claws.

It was said that the wing-like structure on its back could expand to control the flow of ti: a terrifying Pokémon capable of mastering it.

Palkia stood upright on two legs, while Dialga stood on four.

However, at that mont, both Pokémon showed surprising synchronization by not attacking imdiately, but instead turning their heads to fix their gaze on ga Houndoom and ga Alakazam, who below did not dare to move rashly.

If one could asure the area of psychological shadow in the hearts of ga Houndoom and ga Alakazam at that mont, the result would surely be infinite.

Clearly, this had only been a battle between a few Pokémon and their companions. Since their strengths were similar, it was possible that no winner would be decided in a short ti; rather, they were "testing" each other, enjoying the fight, since that state was not sothing they could experience at will.

But who could have imagined that, after only exchanging a couple of blows, these two heavyweights would appear?

The intimidation exerted by Dialga and Palkia, both physically and ntally, was simply overwhelming.

Marcus also managed to shake off that ntality of "smash everything" and fight Tony to the death. He looked at him with fury; if it had not been for his insistence on provoking the conflict, would they have unleashed all their power? Would they have attracted the attention of Dialga and Palkia?

Now he truly did not know how to end this.

Tony's expression was not natural either. At tis he could lose his head and act without restraint, but that did not an he was an idiot; otherwise, he would not have co this far or attained such power.

Just when both of them were frantically thinking about how to resolve the crisis, Palkia and Dialga were no longer willing to give them more ti to think.

Strictly speaking, this continent was their territory, and the central mountain of the continent was their ho. Now that their ho had been destroyed in such a way, how could they not be angry?

Almost at the sa ti, Palkia and Dialga slightly opened their mouths, and a sphere of energy began to condense within them.

Cain's eyes flashed when he saw this.

Aura!?
