Together with Slowking, he used the move Teleport and disappeared from the Aura Valley.

At that mont, Cain's control over his psychic powers was already sufficient to use Teleport freely. If he did so together with Slowking, the range of the teleport beca even greater.

After several consecutive teleports, Cain appeared at the entrance of another cave.

"Sir!" two people shouted respectfully the mont he appeared.

They were precisely the two subordinates Cain had recruited on the continent: Brad and Catherine.

Both felt sincere admiration for Cain, even mixed with reverence.

They had witnessed Cain's entire plan from beginning to end, and had even participated in it. Many of the things Cain could not do personally, he had entrusted to them.

The result of this mission had also far exceeded their expectations. There was no one who understood better the terror of the Sacred Church than two people who had lived cowering in fear in this place for twenty-five years.

And what they had known were only those who had originally lived here, not counting the mbers of the Sacred Church who entered later when the spatial barrier broke.

They had originally thought that, with the progress of those people, the continent was already practically in the hands of the Sacred Church, and that their wish to return to the Pokémon world was nothing more than an illusion.

Who would have imagined that Cain would infiltrate the Sacred Church directly and, through a series of complex and hard-to-understand maneuvers, achieve a result that far exceeded all their expectations.

The internal disintegration of the Sacred Church mbers on the continent was already a fact. Cain, by his own strength alone, had dismantled in an instant the greatest faction on the entire continent.

Although there had not been many casualties among the Sacred Church mbers, they now acted each on their own. Being able to protect themselves was already a considerable achievent, and that feeling of being bound hand and foot, not daring to move freely, had disappeared.

A Cain with such strength and strategic ability finally allowed Brad and Catherine to see a real hope of being able to leave.

"How is the capture of those Pokémon going these days?" Cain asked indifferently.

Hearing this, Brad imdiately took several Poké Balls out of his pocket.

"Sir, these are the remaining Pokémon. Catherine and I have each chosen two. After more than a week of adaptation, they can already display so strength in real combat."

In fact, those Poké Balls were the ones Cain had made Brad and Catherine retrieve from Number Four's hiding place. Except for the three he had deliberately left at Number Four's residence, he handed the rest of the Pokémon over to them for safekeeping, allowing them to choose the ones that suited each of them best.

Each of them chose two, which ant that now both once again had six Pokémon, and moreover six that were capable of showing real strength to a certain extent.

They did not capture them all because, sotis, having too many Pokémon is not a good thing, especially when those Pokémon originally belonged to soone else.

Six Pokémon was already the limit that both of them could handle in their current situation.

In fact, after living in this place for twenty-five years and enduring twenty-five years of hardship, they had experienced far more than those Sacred Church mbers who had lived here comfortably for the sa length of ti. Their growth and their gains had been much greater, but they lacked sufficient resources and also did not have Poké Balls to capture wild Pokémon.

This had caused them to always be short of Pokémon. Thus, although the individual strength of their Pokémon was not inferior to that of the Sacred Church mbers, taken together the difference was still enormous.

Moreover, they could not fully trust one another nor form a true unit, so their lives were much harder than those of the Sacred Church mbers, who acted in groups.

But as the saying goes, one prospers in adversity and perishes in comfort. Those Sacred Church mbers, because of their excessively comfortable lives, lacked any sense of urgency. Even with abundant resources, their gains in growth did not necessarily surpass those of Brad and Catherine.

Now that both of them had once again completed their six Pokémon, their strength increased explosively. Facing mid-level Sacred Church mbers was no longer a big problem, and even if those used divine power infusion, resisting without being defeated was no difficulty at all.

Two "ordinary" mbers with that kind of strength, added to Cain as the spearhead, in a situation where the Sacred Church was fragnted and distrustful of one another, turned the three of them into an extrely powerful force.

After all, due to the invisible influence of the psychic seeds, the three of them could truly trust one another, sothing the Sacred Church mbers completely lacked.

Cain took the Poké Balls that Brad handed him. Although those Pokémon did not attract his interest, their value was considerable; otherwise, Number Four would not have boasted about them so much before being cruelly deceived by Cain.

"This ti, we are going to solve the problem of you two returning to the Pokémon world," Cain said.

Hearing this, Brad's and Catherine's eyes shone with a light of hope.

They had waited so long. One of the main reasons they had decided to follow Cain from the very beginning was precisely their desire to leave the continent and return to the Pokémon world.

Although they had never been completely sure that Cain could really take them back, upon hearing those words, they felt as if they had finally let out a long-held breath.

In fact, once Cain implanted the psychic seeds in them, even if he did not take them back, they would not be able to do anything to him; they could only accept their fate. Therefore, when Catherine accepted to follow Cain, she already knew it was a gamble: a gamble in which she risked everything!

"But before acting, there is still one matter we must resolve first," Cain said with a slightly mysterious air.

Just as Brad and Catherine showed expressions of doubt, a faint smile appeared in Cain's eyes. He had not expected that one day he would be able to do sothing like this.

He mobilized the psychic power within his body, concentrated it in the palm of his hand, and before Brad and Catherine could react, he slamd the energy-filled hand directly against Catherine's forehead.

Boom!

Catherine rolled her eyes back and fell to the ground instantly.

"B-Boss!!!" Brad's eyes widened, unable to believe what he was seeing.
