Test Island.

It was drizzling.

Cain heard the sounds of a battle and approached slowly, wearing a camouflage raincoat.

Slowpoke's psychic ability was applied to his feet, allowing him to walk without making any noise.

As he got closer, Cain finally saw a few people in the middle of a fight.

The rain made the air very foggy, especially with this kind of light drizzle, making it possible to see only shadows, not people clearly.

Cain could see that so people were commanding their Pokémon in battle, but they weren't fighting wild Pokémon; it was a battle between trainers.

At about two hundred ters away, it was impossible to distinguish anything clearly, so Cain had to move closer.

Fortunately, Cain couldn't see the people ahead clearly, and they couldn't see him either.

Moreover, they weren't paying attention to the surroundings.

At a distance of about one hundred ters, Cain, with the help of Slowpoke's psychic ability, managed to hide in a tree. Moving between the branches, he barely reduced the distance to fifty ters.

If he tried to get any closer, it would be dangerous.

Fortunately, at fifty ters away and with his perception enhanced after awakening his psychic abilities, Cain could make out the situation below.

There were five people in total, but clearly, four were together, and one was facing the combined attack of the four.

Although the four were attacking one person, that individual managed to defend himself without falling into disadvantage.

Each of the four trainers controlled two Pokémon, while the lone one trained four.

Controlling four Pokémon at the sa ti is a very ntally demanding task for a trainer. It may be feasible for a short ti, but the longer it goes on, the more likely an error is to occur.

Cain didn't make any moves; he just lay down on the tree, watching.

As if to fulfill Cain's wishes, the drizzle began to dissipate, and finally, Cain could see the appearance of the people below.

One wouldn't know until they saw, but it was a surprise.

To Cain's surprise, he recognized nearly half of the people below.

Of the four who were together, one was soone Skye had pointed out to Cain before the final test began. It was an individual who originally belonged to the loners' group, but on the last night, he had been recruited by Xander.

In the last test, he had ranked eighth, and if Cain rembered correctly, his na was Nakajima.

Nakajima's two Pokémon, Golbat and Raticate, were clearly the strongest of the group of four.

Although Cain didn't rember the nas of the other three, he could recognize that they also belonged to Xander's faction.

He hadn't expected the four to be so lucky to et up on this massive test island. And since they belonged to the sa faction, there was no dispute about who should lead.

Although Nakajima joined on the last day, due to his eighth place ranking, the other three recognized him as the leader.

Four people with a total of eight Pokémon were tangled in a fight with the opponent's four Pokémon.

And that opponent was also soone Cain knew, or rather, soone he was even more familiar with than the other four.

It was Miyamoto, the sa one who had been teleported directly in front of Cain on the first day, where he lost a Machoke, and Cain captured his Priape.

Miyamoto was one of the main subordinates of a Team Rocket Officer, specializing in fighting-type Pokémon. His strength was significant, and if he participated in the island test, he had the potential to place in the top three.

However, he had more Pokémon than most on the test island, and in a total battle, probably only Xander could match him.

This showed how terrifying those who had entered the test island later were.

Even soone relatively weaker could surpass most of the other competitors on the island.

If Miyamoto were in peak form, the four in front wouldn't be a match for him. But after fighting Cain, he had lost or had two of his Pokémon captured, and now he was barely able to handle the four.

He was in a defensive position.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! If it weren't for that damn Cain, who captured my Priape, I'd crush their heads with a single blow," Miyamoto cursed as he fought below, unaware that Cain, the very one he cursed, was in a tree right behind him, watching.

Priape was his main Pokémon and also his highest attack power. Now, without Priape, his team was incomplete.

The opponents, shalessly, used their nurical advantage to wear him down little by little, avoiding direct confrontation.

Apart from his Dodrio, a normal and flying-type Pokémon, all his Pokémon had fighting attributes. But the opponents had three Golbat, putting him at a disadvantage.

One of those Golbat was particularly strong, and it had trapped his best Hitmonchan, significantly reducing his fighting capability.

Moreover, half of the opponent's Pokémon had poison-type attributes and usually attacked by throwing poison before retreating, trying to wear his down slowly.

"Are you one of those who, according to the rules, should participate at the end? If so, your strength isn't that impressive after all. The guy the boss Xander was so worried about, only has this skill?" Nakajima said with a cold smile as he saw the situation stabilize.

He paid no attention to Miyamoto's dark expression, which seed about to explode.

In reality, Nakajima had noticed Miyamoto a long ti ago. After surviving for three months on the test island and being evaluated every week, he had seen most of the competitors at least once. As soon as he saw him for the first ti, Nakajima guessed who he was.

However, he didn't attack imdiately. Instead, he patiently waited for his opportunity.

Perhaps by luck, not long after entering the test island, Nakajima t three other mbers of Xander's faction.

Thanks to his advantage in power and status, he soon got those three to recognize his position and align with him.

After gathering the three, he waited until Miyamoto lowered his guard to attack him.

Originally, he thought that if he couldn't win, he could at least use the other three as cannon fodder to escape.

But to his surprise, the person Xander spoke of with such fear turned out to be easily defeated by his group of four.

Although Nakajima admitted that in a one-on-one fight, he probably couldn't beat him, the nurical advantage was also a form of strength.

That's how the scene Cain was watching happened. Of the four, Nakajima was the only one with notable skills, while the other three were diocre. Still, they managed to keep Miyamoto under control.

"It's all thanks to Master Nakajima's wise leadership. He is one of the top ten in the previous test. If it weren't for wanting to save ti, Master Nakajima would have finished him off alone," one of the three praised.

With his words, the other two quickly joined in and praised as well.
