All the elixir’s liquid was absorbed without a trace by the egg. Holding it, Cain could clearly feel a notable increase in temperature radiating from the egg’s surface into his hands.
Instinctively, Cain enveloped the egg with his psychic powers.
Although he could previously sense the heartbeat of the Pokémon within, it had been faint at the ti. Now, Cain could perceive a strong, rhythmic pulse.
Not only that, though the Pokémon egg hadn’t absorbed anything other than the elixir, Cain noticed its weight was gradually increasing.
With the injection of this elixir, Larvitar’s developntal speed was changing rapidly.
According to the system’s scan, the Larvitar egg’s hatching ti, which initially required about fifty years, was decreasing at an astonishing rate—faster than Cain had anticipated.
Cain’s expression shifted slightly.
The changes in the Larvitar egg weren’t sothing either he or the system had predicted.
"System, quickly analyze what’s happening with the Pokémon egg," Cain thought.
After a chanical sound indicated that the task had been initiated, Cain felt a small electric current flow from his hand into the egg.
This tiny electrical flow had no adverse effect on the egg.
Ten minutes later, Cain received the system’s analysis.
After reviewing all the data and explanations provided, Cain finally felt reassured.
Cain had invested too much ti and resources into this Larvitar egg; any negative change would have been a significant loss for him.
Fortunately, according to the system’s analysis, the changes in the Larvitar egg were still within normal paraters.
It was just that the elixir’s absorption rate had accelerated significantly—over tenfold.

However, the Hoenn region has a unique distinction, as it is ho to two pseudo-legendary Pokémon: tagross and Salance.
tagross and Tyranitar are the only Pokémon species that, despite not being Dragon-types, are considered pseudo-legendary.
Both have proven beyond a doubt that they have the potential to be pseudo-legendary.
However, all Pokémon of this class share a common trait: slow growth.
Pseudo-legendaries only reach their true potential when they achieve their final evolution, as their advantages aren’t as evident before then.
The challenge lies in the fact that the final evolution of these Pokémon requires a very high level.
It takes reaching at least quasi-elite level.
The early stages are a significant challenge that trainers must overco.
That’s why few people choose a pseudo-legendary as their starter Pokémon, as raising them is notoriously difficult.
Of course, individuals like Steven Stone, with imnse resources, don’t count as common cases.
Even Lance, a mber of the dragon clan, didn’t start with a Dragonite; his first Pokémon was a Fire-type Charizard, one of Kanto’s three starters.
Raising a pseudo-legendary requires a lot of resources and ti.
However, this Larvitar, which was about to hatch, would have a relatively smoother path.
Although the elixir was primarily ant to aid in hatching, so of its effects would remain in its body.
This could help Larvitar grow faster. As for its reduced lifespan, it simply didn’t apply to this Larvitar.
Furthermore, based on the Larvitar egg’s scanned data, this soon-to-be-born Pokémon had exceptional potential.

Cain had already incorporated geocentric cleansing milk into the Pokéblocks for both Aron and Larvitar. This rare ingredient would allow both Pokémon to perceive Rock- and Ground-type energies more clearly, helping them manipulate these energies with greater ease.
Aron had only the Rock-type, but Larvitar had both Rock- and Ground-types, allowing it to make the most of the geocentric cleansing milk’s properties.
Next were rare minerals. Both Larvitar and Aron fed on rocks and tals.
However, while Aron leaned more toward tals, Larvitar preferred rocks.
Cain also added materials to support the growth of infant-stage Pokémon.
Larvitar would join Cain’s second group of Pokémon.
Although it would need ti to grow after hatching, Cain hoped that thanks to the elixir, it could catch up with the others.
Aron was already at Level 16 and Poliwag at Level 12.
Torchic and Mudkip were also ready to begin their training.
