Now reading: Chapter 829: Carnivine from Pokémon: Chronicles of Freedom (Re-Upload), a Fantasy novel by GoldenDragonKing.

After entering the forest, Cain decided to return Flygon to its Poké Ball. In this area, the level of wild Pokémon was considerably suitable for Larvitar and Aron to battle and train.

Cain released Larvitar and Aron.

Larvitar still needed to gain four more levels before evolving, while Aron’s quality-boosting potion was already complete, so there were no concerns there.

The wild Pokémon around level thirty in this area were perfect for these two little ones.

"Larr~~"

"Kurr~~"

As soon as Larvitar and Aron ca out, they were incredibly excited. During this ti, both had noticed their growth in strength, and by observing the surroundings, they imdiately knew this was a new training opportunity. That made them very happy.

"Larvitar, Aron, do your best in battle and behave. If you don’t listen, I’ll have to call Combusken." Cain smiled as he spoke, watching how both Pokémon responded energetically.

"Larr!!" Larvitar replied firmly, raising its small hand toward its head in a gesture that looked like a military salute, although due to its short arms, it only managed to touch its nose.

Aron, watching Larvitar, tried to imitate the gesture, but its short legs and quadrupedal stance left it confused and unsure how to proceed.

Seeing Aron’s clumsiness, Cain couldn’t help but burst out laughing. "Hahaha!"

Both Pokémon, who in their final forms would be imposing and fearso, were absolutely adorable at this early stage. It was hard not to smile at their behavior.

Larvitar, once evolved into Tyranitar, would be as impressive as a mini Godzilla, while Aron, once it beca Aggron, wouldn’t fall behind.

Moreover, Cain already had a ga Stone for Aggron, the only one he had found so far that would work with his team. Aron’s already high potential promised to beco sothing worth witnessing once it reached its final form.

"Well then, ti to move. Let’s explore the mountain and look for what we need," said Cain, heading toward the ascent with the two little Pokémon closely following him.

Thanks to their compact size, Larvitar and Aron didn’t attract much attention. The presence of a human like Cain didn’t pose a significant threat to the wild Pokémon either, so it didn’t take long before so decided to attack.

The first to try to take advantage of the situation was a Carnivine, a Pokémon originally registered in the Sinnoh region. This Carnivine, level 32 with Light Green potential, launched itself from the trees toward Cain with its mouth wide open, ready to attack.

"Larvitar, use Rock Slide to stop it. Aron, get ready to use Headbutt." Cain gave the instructions calmly as he watched Carnivine’s charge.

Larvitar and Aron were no strangers to battle. Through daily training, they had gained experience and developed strong synchronization with Cain.

"Larvi!!" Larvitar raised its little hands, and rocks of various sizes appeared in the air, falling directly into Carnivine’s path.

Boom, boom, boom!

Carnivine, unable to dodge while airborne, took the full brunt of the impact.

Before it could hit the ground, Aron was already waiting. With precision, the little steel Pokémon tid its move and charged forward with a Headbutt straight to Carnivine’s face before it could react.

Bang!

The sound of the impact echoed as Aron’s hard head collided with Carnivine’s body, sending it flying to the side. The effectiveness of the move was undeniable. Over ti, Aron’s head had been constantly reinforced, making it its most formidable weapon.

"Aron, use Rock Tomb. Larvitar, seal it with sand." Cain saw Carnivine’s condition and decided not to take it out right away; he had another purpose for it.

"Kurr~~" Obeying the order, Aron launched rock fragnts that ford thick chains, pinning Carnivine to the ground.

At the sa ti, Larvitar touched the ground with its small hands, and the surrounding sand moved like serpents, slowly covering Carnivine until it was buried, leaving only its head exposed.

This combination was the result of days of constant training between Larvitar and Aron. Their execution was already flawless.

Carnivine tried to resist but failed. In the end, it was completely trapped in a mound of sand, with only its small head poking out, showing clear fear in its eyes.

Cain calmly approached the defeated Carnivine, smiling. Larvitar and Aron followed closely. Now, the roles had reversed, and the attacker was at the rcy of the group.

Desperate, Carnivine tried to call for help. It opened its mouth and released a pink mist with a sweet aroma—Sweet Scent, a move designed to attract other wild Pokémon nearby.

Cain, who had anticipated this, nodded with satisfaction. This was why he hadn’t finished off Carnivine imdiately.

Thanks to the Sweet Scent move, more wild Pokémon would soon approach, making it easier to find opponents for training. It was a much more efficient thod than chasing them one by one.

"Larvitar, Aron, get ready for more battles," said Cain with a smile as he watched the aroma spread.

"Larvii!!"

"Aron!!"

Both responded with enthusiasm, ready for the action to co.
