"Larvitar!" Cain noticed Larvitar’s unusual reaction and called out firmly.
Larvitar, upon hearing Cain’s voice, seed to regain control. Its eyes, which had started glowing a strange red, returned to normal.
"Larr...?" it asked in confusion, looking at Cain as if it didn’t understand what had just happened.
"This isn’t just energy; it feels like sothing much deeper," Cain murmured as he kept his eyes on the pendant, which was slowly beginning to disintegrate.
Once the pendant had completely broken, the chains binding the mysterious coffin began to slide off and fall. In a short ti, the coffin was entirely free of restraints.
A dry sound echoed as a cloud of dust rose. A thin crack appeared on the surface of the coffin, from which a faint red vapor erged.
Cain slowly stepped back, bringing his Pokémon with him. Although the ancient king’s calculations suggested the coffin should be safe, no one could truly guarantee what was about to erge after so long.
A soft clink broke the tense silence. Sothing fell from the coffin to the floor and rolled until it stopped at Cain’s feet.
It was a small red crystal orb that, as it settled, reflected a warm and gentle glow.
Larvitar’s eyes lit up instantly at the sight of the orb. It even seed like drool was beginning to gather at its mouth.
Cain cautiously crouched to pick up the orb. As he took it, he felt a soft warmth emanating from it. Inside the orb, the "Ω" symbol could clearly be seen in a pale yellow hue.
Cain imdiately recognized its resemblance to the Red Orb that, in the future, would be coveted by Team Magma—although this version was noticeably smaller.
"Larr... Larr..." Larvitar murmured, its voice filled with impatience and desire as it stared at the orb in Cain’s hands.
"Scan this orb," Cain ordered the system in his mind, holding the orb in front of him without handing it over to Larvitar just yet.
Item Na: Red Orb (Small)
Description: Contains a significant concentration of energy from the legendary Pokémon Groudon, known as the god of the land.
Effect: Can provide a large amount of energy to Pokémon, with a small chance of granting Groudon’s unique moves.
Warning: Excessive use could result in loss of ntal control.
The analysis confird Cain’s suspicions. This small orb had properties similar to the authentic Red Orb, but with less power. While it couldn’t summon or control Groudon like the original, it did contain energy that Pokémon could absorb.
Cain reflected on the possible moves Larvitar could gain from the orb. Groudon was known for its imnse power, with the move Precipice Blades being one of its most iconic.
According to legend, Groudon developed this move to overco its inability to fly, allowing it to strike airborne enemies with devastating Ground-type power.
A loud Bang! Bang! interrupted his thoughts. Sothing else seed to be erging from the coffin.
Cain looked up and saw massive legs, similar to Groudon’s, slowly coming out of the coffin. The sa "Ω" symbols adorned their surface, though they lacked the golden glow characteristic of Primal Groudon.
Instead, the markings were black, and the rest of the body was covered in a deep red hue.
Gradually, a full figure erged from the coffin.
Cain instinctively stepped back upon seeing what stood before him. For a mont, he almost believed it was the real Groudon.
The Pokémon had the sa imposing design: the head, limbs, and tail were identical to the legendary Pokémon. However, upon closer inspection, Cain noticed critical differences.
The creature’s chest was decorated with strange runes, similar to those seen on a Golurk, and a protective panel protruded from its torso. It was evident that this compartnt housed its energy core.
It was a Golurk with Groudon’s appearance.
Its eyes weren’t real, but rather a pair of glowing symbols ant to simulate eyes. Although its size was smaller than the real Groudon, its presence was just as intimidating.
Cain quickly analyzed the situation while his system scanned the Pokémon.

Cain was impressed by the ancient technology and knowledge that had gone into creating this Pokémon. It was an impressive tribute to Groudon, designed to replicate both its appearance and power.
The Pokémon remained motionless, its eyes fixed on the small Red Orb in Cain’s hands. It showed no signs of aggression, but its very presence was unsettling.
"Could this orb be the key to controlling it?" Cain wondered, though he quickly recalled that the ancient king’s records stated this Golurk had been impossible to control, which led to its sealing.
"Maybe it’s the effect of the coffin... The long duration of containnt and energy depletion may have dissipated its original aggression," Cain reasoned as he held the orb.
Whatever the case, the creation now before him was a testant to the ingenuity of the ancients—but also a reminder of the dangers of tampering with powers beyond understanding.
