Final Battle.
Pikachu was sent out once again by Ash to face Alain’s incredibly powerful ga Charizard.
Having already expended a great deal of energy, Pikachu was constantly running around from ga Charizard’s attacks, no longer in the condition to face Alain’s ace head-on.
"At this rate, Pikachu is in real danger. It’ll probably co down to Greninja versus ga Charizard." Watching the match unfold, Teresa continued explaining to Terrance.
As Pikachu was knocked down by a blast of Flathrower from Charizard, its whole body scorched black, not just Teresa but many in the audience thought Pikachu was done for.
"Having battled three powerful Pokémon in a row, this Pikachu has already done incredibly well." Just as everyone ca to this conclusion, Ash’s voice rang out, shaking people to their core.
"Pikachu!!"
"We fight to the very last mont!! We never give up!!"
At Ash’s cry, Pikachu dragged its body which was full of burn marks and once again slowly stood up!!
Pikachu’s eyes were clear. Even after sustaining fatal injuries, it used the last bit of strength to support itself up.
Such strong willpower shocked the people!
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt at full power!!"
Ash waved his arm, and at that mont, Terrance’s guidance flashed rapidly through his mind. In this state, using the Reversal move, he and Pikachu could unleash their greatest strength!!
He had waited a long ti for this mont. He and Pikachu had yet to reveal their trump card!!
Dazzling lightning instantly gathered, rumbling like thunder. Seeing this, Kalos Champion Diantha’s expression was filled with surprise. Ash’s Pikachu... hadn’t shown such shocking strength during her battle with Ash!!
Pikachu, Thunderbolt!!
Ash shouted the command with burning passion. Thunderbolt’s attack range was vast, covering the entire field. Its power was so imnse it caused rocks to erupt from the ground.
Faced with this terrifying attack, ga Charizard and Alain’s faces turned grim, caught in their greatest crisis yet.
"Charizard!!"
The rciless thunderbolt struck ga Charizard’s entire body. Smoke filled the battlefield, and as it cleared, ga Charizard was half-kneeling on the ground. Though sheer willpower kept it upright, anyone could see the injuries covering its body.
And Pikachu, who unleashed that powerful attack, had naturally spent the last of its strength, ending its battle in a dazzling blaze of glory.
"You did amazingly, Pikachu." Looking at Pikachu, Ash was filled with emotion. "Leave the rest to Greninja."
Pikachu’s ga-changing attack didn’t just stun the audience, even Diantha was shocked by the deep bond between Ash and Pikachu.
"If Alain hadn’t taken the fight seriously enough to ga Evolve Charizard from the start, that one hit might have defeated him completely," Diantha thought with shock.
"This..." On the other side, Teresa was at a loss. Was her judgnt... wrong?
"So this is what it ans to be a Trainer?!!" Unlike Teresa’s reaction, "Terrance", watching the bond between Ash and Pikachu, was instantly moved by their perseverance and spoke with admiration.
"Yes, this is what it ans to be a Trainer!" Hearing Terrance’s words, Teresa nodded firmly.
A wounded ga Charizard, and a Greninja in perfect condition.
The audience... could already foresee the outco.
As Greninja entered the field, Ash imdiately entered Bond Phenonon with it. Greninja, as if ga evolved, revealed a powerful form!!
"Alain, let’s agree right now, no matter who wins or loses, no hard feelings," Ash said.
"Alright." Alain, whose face had been tense, slowly relaxed upon hearing Ash’s words and broke into a smile.
After his battle with Terrance, his mindset had gradually shifted. Now, battling Ash, he was enjoying it, relishing the thrill of the fight.
"I’m really happy to battle you," Alain said. "So please, fight with everything you’ve got!"
"I feel the sa way!" Ash replied earnestly.
On the battlefield, ga Charizard let out a mighty roar and regained its fighting spirit, while Greninja stood solemnly, cloaked in flowing water.
"Alain, this is a move Greninja and I trained for specifically to battle you. Let show you!!" Ash suddenly shouted.
At his cry, a Water Shuriken larger than Greninja’s own body began to form!! The highly compressed water had now undergone a qualitative transformation, even emitting a golden glow!!
"Greninja, Water Shuriken!!" Ash gave the command.
This move was the strongest technique Greninja could use. However, until now, Greninja had never been able to control this extrely compressed water!
But after Ash understood the reason Terrance had Greninja learn Extrasensory, he carefully thought it through and experinted. Finally, he succeeded in having Greninja use psychic power to coordinate the compressed water and thus unleash the perfect golden Water Shuriken!!
Facing this terrifyingly destructive attack, Alain’s expression changed drastically: "Charizard, Blast Burn!!"
He had no ti to consider. Feeling the imnse pressure, he had ga Charizard unleash its most powerful move.
"Roaaar!!" ga Charizard summoned flas that struck the ground, sending terrifying flas surging across the battlefield toward Greninja.
At the sa ti, Greninja hurled the golden shuriken, a dazzling light streaking straight toward ga Charizard!!
Both sides unavoidably took the brunt of each other’s terrifying, large-scale attack!
The massive shockwave nearly swept across the entire stadium, leaving the audience in utter shock.
Everyone held their breath, desperate to see through the smoke and find out who had won.
"Who won?"
As the two Pokémon finally ca into view, after a brief mont of silence, the stadium erupted into wild cheers.
Charizard, unable to withstand the astonishing golden Water Shuriken, collapsed with a thunderous crash, while Greninja, having taken the Blast Burn head-on with hardly any stamina consud, now stood like a solitary and proud king—its very presence declaring Ash’s victory!!
"He won."
"That Kanto Trainer nad Ash won," Terrance said, cheerfully looking down at the field.
"Now do you understand what it ans to be a Trainer?" Teresa asked with a smile.
"Yeah... it’s truly an admirable profession," Terrance replied in surprise.

Two months earlier, League Calendar Year 214, Kalos Region, Annapurna mountain range.
Terrance and Akon, who had been sent back to their original tiline by Celebi, stood dazed as they looked around at their surroundings.
Just returned to his own tiline, Terrance had no idea that his guidance to Ash would soon change the course of Kalos League’s history.
