"A Pokémon battle?" Kamala and Doreen exclaim in unison, their eyes lighting up with excitent. They rember the HeroTube video of Harley and Ivy's battle. They now have the chance to experience it for themselves.

"That sounds like so much fun!" Kamala says, bouncing on the balls of her feet. "I've been wanting to see what Eevee can do in a real battle."

" too!" Doreen adds, grinning from ear to ear. "Emolga's got so serious moves, and I can't wait to show them off." Tippy-Toe chitters in agreent, eager to witness the battle.

"Excellent!" Orion says, clapping his hands together. "Then, without further ado, let us proceed to the Battle Arena."

He gestures towards a door on the far side of the lobby, and Kamala and Doreen follow him, their anticipation growing with each step. Latias, with her cara in hand, floats silently behind them, ready to capture the action.

The Battle Arena is a vast, circular space, much larger than it appears from the outside. For now, it remains in its default configuration: a flat, grassy field, bathed in the warm glow of simulated sunlight. The walls are lined with advanced holographic projectors, capable of transforming the arena into any environnt imaginable.

"Welco to the Pokémon Ho Battle Arena!" Orion announces, his voice echoing slightly in the expansive space. "Here, trainers can test their skills and Pokémon can showcase their abilities in a safe and controlled environnt."

Kamala and Doreen gaze around the arena, taking in the impressive technology and the sense of boundless possibility. A thrill of friendly competition courses through them as they take their positions on opposite ends of the battlefield.

"Alright, SG," Kamala says, a determined glint in her eyes. "Get ready to eat my dust!"

"Oh, it's on, Double M!" Doreen retorts, striking a heroic pose. "Prepare to be amazed by the power of Squirrel Girl and Emolga!"

Orion chuckles, amused by their playful banter. "Now, trainers, if you are ready," he says, raising his hand, "let the battle begin!"

With a dramatic flourish, Kamala and Doreen throw their Premier Poké Balls into the air. The balls soar through the air, arcing gracefully before bursting open in a shower of sparkling light.

"Eevee, I choose you!" Kamala cries.

"Emolga, let's do this!" Doreen shouts.

Eevee and Emolga are released onto the battlefield, landing gracefully on the soft grass. Eevee, with her soft brown fur and expressive eyes, strikes a confident pose, her tail wagging excitedly. Emolga, with his white fur, black cape-like mbrane, and yellow cheek pouches, hovers in the air, crackling with electric energy.

"Eevee!" she cries out, her voice filled with determination.

"Emolga!" he chirps, his voice filled with playful energy.

"Alright, trainers," Orion says, stepping forward to address the competitors. "The rules are simple: this is a one-on-one battle. The first Pokémon unable to battle loses. Are there any questions?"

Kamala and Doreen shake their heads, their focus solely on the battle ahead.

"Then," Orion announces, his voice booming through the arena, "let the battle begin!"

Latias raises her cara, capturing the scene as the two trainers prepare to command their Pokémon. The air crackles with anticipation as the first battle at Pokémon Ho is about to begin.

Kamala takes a deep breath, trying to recall what she had read about battling in the video.

"Uh, Eevee," she says, a bit uncertainly, "use... uh... Tackle!"

Doreen, equally inexperienced, points at Eevee with a flourish. "Emolga, do your thing! Hit her with your spark thingy!"

Despite the sowhat disorganized commands, Eevee and Emolga react instinctively, launching their first attacks. Eevee, with surprising speed, charges towards Emolga, her small body a blur of motion. She lowers her head and slams into Emolga with a powerful Tackle.

The attack connects, sending Emolga sliding back slightly across the grass. Doreen gasps, surprised by the force of the blow.

"Emolga, are you okay?" she calls out, concern in her voice.

"Molga!" Emolga chirps back, shaking his head. He spreads his gliding mbranes, regaining his balance in the air. Though the Tackle hit hard, he seems unhard.

Doreen sighs in relief. "Okay, good. Now, Emolga, use Double Team!"

Emolga nods and begins to move rapidly, creating multiple afterimages of himself. The field is soon filled with countless Emolgas, making it difficult to discern the real one from the illusions.

Kamala squints, trying to see through the mirage. "Eevee, use Tail Whip on all of them!" she shouts, hoping to disrupt the copies.

Eevee begins to spin, her tail whipping around her in a circle, striking several of the Emolga images. The illusions shimr and disappear, but the real Emolga remains elusive, darting between the fading copies.

"He's too fast!" Kamala says, frustrated. "Eevee, try Growl! Maybe that will slow him down."

Eevee takes a deep breath and lets out a loud Growl, the sound echoing across the Battle Arena. The Growl is a low, intimidating noise. Emolga pauses montarily, seemingly startled by the sudden sound.

"Now's our chance, Emolga," Doreen shouts, seizing the mont. "Use Nuzzle!"

Emolga swoops down, aiming for Eevee. He flies low and close to the ground. Emolga slams into Eevee, releasing a jolt of electricity. The electric shock courses through Eevee's body.

Eevee cries out in pain, her fur standing on end. Despite the agony, she stands her ground, refusing to fall. She glares at Emolga, determination burning in her eyes.

"Eevee!" Kamala calls out, her voice filled with concern. "Are you okay?"

Eevee nods weakly, shaking off the paralysis. She takes a deep breath and focuses her energy. "Eevee!" she declares, her voice firm and unwavering.

"Alright, Eevee, let's show them what we're made of!" Kamala shouts, her voice filled with encouragent. "Use Sand Attack!"

Eevee stomps her foot, sending a cloud of sand flying towards Emolga. The sand fills the air, stinging Emolga's eyes and obscuring his vision.

"Quick, Emolga, use Tail Whip!" Doreen cries, hoping to disorient Eevee further.

Emolga, though blinded by the sand, swings his tail wildly, hoping to strike Eevee. The tail makes contact, knocking Eevee back slightly. However, the sand continues to swirl around Emolga, making it difficult for him to see or move.

"Now, Eevee, use Tackle!" Kamala shouts, seizing the opportunity.

Eevee charges forward once more, her small body a brown streak against the green grass. She lowers her head and slams into Emolga with a powerful Tackle, hitting him hard.

Emolga cries out in pain, tumbling through the air before landing heavily on the ground. He lies there for a mont, dazed and disoriented.

Doreen clenches her fists, her heart pounding in her chest. "Emolga, get up!" she urges, her voice filled with anxiety. "You can do this!"

Emolga struggles to his feet, shaking his head to clear his vision. He looks at Doreen, his eyes filled with determination. Despite the pain and the exhaustion, he refuses to give up.

The battle rages on. The tension is palpable as the two Pokémon clash. Dust and dirt kick up from the grass as the two Pokémon engage.
