could fully rival a peak Champion-class Pokémon.
Even more extrely—
even a Grandmaster-class Pokémon.
After all, he already possessed pseudo-legendary-tier base stats,
and on top of that, he had mastered one hundred percent of the Dragon-type Law, along with a large portion of the Steel-type Law.
So in his current state…
Although he still hadn't reached the level of a Legendary Pokémon,
his combat strength was unquestionably terrifying.
Put simply,
he was in that transitional zone between a third-tier Legendary and a pseudo-legendary Pokémon.
These Pokémon remains before him…
each radiated that sa kind of fierce, surging aura—close to his own.

the owners of these bones had, at the very least, crossed into the Grandmaster class.

they wouldn't even have been qualified to see this door, much less attempt to break their limits and beco Legendary Pokémon.

Shiko swept his gaze over the field of bones,
and his eyes filled with a quiet sense of emotion.
Then his focus returned to the door.
Facing that pitch-black, heavy door,
even his massive, over-four-ter build seed especially small.
He extended a forepaw.
His palm pressed against the door.
A cold sensation surged in,
making his heart tighten in an instant.
Then he began to exert force—
trying to push it open.
In Shiko's eyes, a spark of hope and anticipation ignited.
To have reached this point
ant that on the path of ordinary Pokémon,
he had already advanced to nearly the absolute limit.
As long as he could push this door open…
he would step into a brand-new realm—the realm of Legendary Pokémon.
The muscles in his forelimbs bulged.
Shiko used every last bit of strength.
He even drew out the vast Dragon-type energy and Steel-type energy he had accumulated within him,
coiling and releasing it together.
With terrifying physical power,
backed by violently surging energy—
Shiko had already pushed himself to his limit.
Yet even so…
that heavy pitch-black door did not move in the slightest.
It didn't even open the tiniest crack.
So it really is like that…
The mont he realized he still couldn't open this door,
Shiko decisively released the strength in his body.
It seed that
although he was strong now,
he still didn't fall within the domain of Legendary Pokémon.
He was still short of the realm required to open this door.
After a brief stab of regret,
light imdiately flared in his eyes again.
If his current self
couldn't even reach the true threshold of Legendary Pokémon…
Then once he actually crossed into that realm,
just how overwhelming would the power he could command beco?
Back in Dragon Valley, that Regidrago that had pushed itself to the ultimate limit—
even with performance like that, it still possessed such terrifying strength.
Then a peak Legendary Pokémon…
what kind of might would that be?
Thinking of that,
he could barely hold himself back.
He had to complete the final accumulation of Steel-type energy as quickly as possible,
and finish mastering the remaining progress of that Law.
He believed that
as long as he evolved into WarGreymon,
he would definitely be able to open this door—
and step into the domain of Legendary Pokémon.

maybe he would directly surpass the third-tier Legendary tier
and leap into the realm of a second-tier Legendary.
