A twenty-ter-tall w!?
Staring at the gigantic w before them, everyone felt a surreal sense of unreality.
What in the world was going on?
Why had w's body expanded more than fortyfold in an instant!?
That slim, delicate Pokémon had, in the blink of an eye, beco like a prehistoric beast.
It filled everyone's vision.
Like so ancient monster.
The sense of oppression and danger was maxed out.
A crushing weight settled over everyone's hearts.
Purple energy condensed into cloudlike masses and drifted around w's body.
At this mont, it no longer chose to float in the air.
Instead, both feet were planted on the ground.
It stood there, looking down at Shiko from on high.
Its gaze was full of contempt.
WarGreymon, who stood just over two ters tall,
looked especially tiny in front of the twenty-ter w.
Dynamaxed?
Looks like those researchers from Team Dark weren't complete fools after all.
They actually had so skill.
Looking at w's enormous body, Shiko muttered to himself inwardly.
"Co on! Witness a power that doesn't belong to this planet!"
Genjo burst into wild laughter.
Following his voice,
w launched a ferocious assault.
In its Dynamaxed state,
its body itself had beco an imnsely destructive weapon.
It lifted one leg
and stomped down hard at Shiko!!!
Boom!!!
The entire ground shook violently.
Large swaths of trees toppled in the tremors.
The brown earth cracked apart inch by inch.
The sheer force of the shaking
was enough to make even the Military's personnel on the sidelines lose their footing.
That single stomp
was enough to unleash an impact no less powerful than an earthquake!
The area it covered was absurdly vast!
Terrifying!
After Dynamaxing,
w had not only recovered from the severe injuries WarGreymon had inflicted on it before,
its combat power
had also risen by a considerable margin!
It had already far surpassed the level of an ordinary Second-tier Legendary!
Shiko dodged it at the very first mont!
He shot upward like a jet fighter,
tracing an S-shaped arc along w's leg.
His sharp steel claws carved rcilessly through its skin,
once again leaving deep gouges across w's body.
After Dynamaxing,
although its combat power and stamina had improved trendously,
its speed also beca slower, and its evasiveness dropped.
w's brutal attacks
were useless against Shiko's extre speed.
Instead, it suffered another strike from him.
"Chuuuu—"
w let out a low, muffled groan of pain.
At this mont, in its eyes,
Shiko was like so tiny insect,
constantly tearing at its flesh,
yet impossible to catch.
Energy flowed within its body.
A hazy green light appeared over the fresh wound on w's leg.
Under that glow brimming with life,
the deep claw marks
began healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
In the blink of an eye,
they were completely restored.
"Recover!?"
Shiko's face turned cold.
He frowned slightly.
He had almost forgotten that w could use that move as well.
This Pokémon, which had mastered every move,
let alone Recover,
naturally knew other techniques for restoring stamina and healing injuries too.
"What a pain."
Shiko ca to a halt in midair not far in front of w.
In his view,
even a Dynamaxed w was still no match for him.
But defeating it would not be easy either.
And with those life-restoring moves on top of that,
if he wanted to beat it,
he could only do so with a one-hit kill technique!
"Chuu!!"
w once again unleashed a massive indiscriminate area attack.
All kinds of energy poured forth.
With the boost from Dynamax,
w's strength had surged by a huge amount.
Terrifying beams of energy
shot out like lasers.
The violent explosions of power
threw the aura of the entire battlefield into chaos!
Shiko's movents were swift and agile.
Though w kept firing one energy pillar after another like a machine gun,
not a single one hit him.
He dodged every attack with ease.
Wrapped in alloy armor, he darted into the distance.
Fury rose in w's eyes.
The purple clouds swirled.
More purple energy flooded into its body.
In an instant,
its size increased again.
It went from twenty ters
to twenty-five ters tall in a flash!!
At this mont,
it looked more and more like so bizarre and terrifying primordial demon god!
That purple, ominous aura coiling around it
made people's hearts pound with fear!
Boom!!!
A chain of energy blasts exploded across the ground behind Shiko.
The Military personnel in the distance were all horrified out of their wits.
Shiko could dodge them.
But they
were caught up in the fury w was venting.
Against this kind of pure energy attack,
they had no way to deal with it at all.
Every ti a beam of energy landed,
it blasted a huge crater into the ground,
while sending large groups of people flying high into the air.
Screams and wails mixed together into a single miserable chorus.
When Shiko glanced back,
he saw a scene of utter chaos and disorder.
I have to end this quickly!
A cold light flashed in his eyes.
Originally, he had wanted to use the Dynamaxed w
to test his own combat power.
But now it seed
that in order to avoid more needless casualties,
he could only finish it with a single strike!
With a flick of his wrist,
a huge purple energy crystal suddenly appeared in Shiko's hand.
The powerful aura contained within it
was extrely similar to the energy swirling around w.
This was sothing Shiko had found in Team Dark's research facility in Wintergreen Forest.
At the ti, when he had still been GeoGreymon,
he had been unable to fully harness and release the energy inside it.
But now,
having advanced into WarGreymon,
Shiko felt the ti had co.
He could now perfectly release the Dynamax Energy contained within it!
His hand clenched tightly.
Crack!!!
A crisp sound rang out.
The purple crystal instantly crumbled into powder.
A huge amount of purple energy spilled out
and was imdiately absorbed into Shiko's body in full!
